Lights started blinking randomly on control panel. I pulled the processor board and found white corrosion around the pins on the processor. I cleaned the processor pins and the rest of the board with isopropyl alcohol and an old tooth brush. It was hard to see the corrosion without a flashlight and magnifying glass. Problem solved.

I've had multiple instances of my control panel suddenly going dark. The reset did not work, but here's what DID: I removed the screws on the inside door panel and this gave me access to the circuit board that the control panel plugs into. For some reason, if I unplug the panel wire from the circuit board and then plug it back in, this resets the system and everything works normally again. Thought this would help some of you having a similar issue.

Fixed mine too but keeps happening every 3 weeks. Any idea what to do? My control panel seems to be ok after a test. Don’t know what else can be causing this.

Normal light flashing. I disconnected p1 ribbon cable. Assembled and powered on. Drain pump ran for a bit. Foes that indicate control board ok. Will this replacement fix keyboard?
Would be helpful if you mentioned the drivers needed for the different screws.

Didn't trust buying the new membrane button machine, so bought a small buttoned machine. Few months later program button latch inside snapped on press, so cheap it broke so quick! A little piece of plastic turning the whole machine useless since without the program button it's stuck on cold rinse. Previous washer lasted almost 20 years with huge buttons that were reliable, they don't make them like they used to.
We have a Whirlpool Dishwasher 10632083A. Dishwasher will runs ok but THESE panel touchpad indicator: lights do NOT work "Cycles: "Heavy" and "Normal" (1 hour wash cycle light works) and "Options:" ""Heat Dry" and "High Temp". This lack of these indicator lights makes it impossible to accurately select a wash cycle, or options for high water temperature and heated drying.
Your video appear to show replacing the control panel but RETAINING the control board, light tube and the button actuators == parts which are likely causing or related to the problems we're experiencing .
Given that some indicator lights work and some don't - what can we do to diagnose and fix this problem?

Same thing happened to mine. some sort of relay or something burned out. had this dishwasher for 3 years and the darn thing is acting up again. Repairman told me it's because the parts are cheaply made. :(

My control "HI-TEMP WASH" light is flashing. When I go to push other buttons they will just flash. The "reset" pattern will not work. Thoughts??

hi i have a whirlpool dishwasher that i just replaced the control board i tesedt the unit but all it did was start to take in water then stops after about 15 seconds then the start button starts to flash. wen i try to cancel or try another cycle nothin responds.
My heated dry button won't stop blinking. I even replaced the control board. These videos are less than helpful. Resetting instructions are always the same or they somehow involve depressing the heated dry button to get it into diagnostic mode. If the heated dry button is blinking, that's not gonna work

Just replace highest part, don't even diagnose? Would never call you for repair OMG.......There are a number of reasons the buttons don't operate.
Harry Balls what reasons? My Kenmore panel just quit working
Planned Obsolescence? They just quit working after 6-years.......
