How To Repair A Dishwasher Not Draining Not Cleaning Dishes or Replace Filter.
I have a Kenmore 665.15769000 dishwasher but Whirlpool and KitchenAid dishwashers are very similar in design.
My problem was that it was not draining and developed a terrible odor.
In this video I show you how to troubleshoot and fix dishwasher drainage issues and do maintenance on your dishwasher. You may need to do this if your dishwasher smells bad.
Sometimes your drain pipe to your garbage disposal can be clogged. You may also have a clogged garbage disposal. Food can get clogged at the bottom of your dishwasher as well. You may need to remove and clean or replace your filter screen.
I was able to replace the dishwasher filter in addition to cleaning food and broken glass and dishes out of the bottom.
I used a T15 Bit for removing the screws in my dishwasher.

Good for you for fixing this beautiful Kenmore ultra wash. These were some of the best dishwashers ever made, if it runs, keep it, maintain it. I have a whirlpool version still, in pristine condition thankfully. Clean them often due to the plastic interiors.

ie. There's a small inlet type thing (cream color) that's bolted under the kick plate w a brass plate, with 2 hoses.. I need to know if I put that back together properly. Idk what specifically it is,, I haven't found it online! 🙃
