The composite footage that comes with ProSmoke is black and white, but you should be able to apply a "colorize" effect to the clip to change the color of the smoke. If you use a smoke emitter that comes with the plugin instead of the composite footage, you can change the color using the color mode controls.
I just worked on a video and I said to myself what would be cool. Maybe some smoke in the back of the night footage. I wanted to see if there were plugins out that would fit this and boom here we go we have one. My only question is does it give a nice natural fog mist or it more of a overlay on top?
There are tons of composite elements in this pack to suit your needs from smoke to fog. These are meant mostly as overlays though you can stack them and offset the z space of them to create more depth.
