My retainer spring have been on this on the first hole for years ,have Ive been doing it wrong all the time ?

At 16:35 no mention is made of the orientation of the slotted pin thar fits into the Rhs brake shoe ( I'm referring to the adjuster that has the left hand thread). This piece has a slot that is not in the centre of the shaft, it is offset by about 1mm, so when put in the other way around ( ie rotating the threaded shaft 180 degrees the offset becomes 2mm)
