Please make a capsule wardrobe for hot summer with casual pieces, no work wear. More like sundresses, shorts and skirts. Thanks!!! Great video as always :)
Yes, I live in Texas and it feels 110 with humidity. I am melting. Hard to look stylish when doing errands and you're drenched with sweat! Please help! Pants are NOT an option for these kinds of days. I have done shorter skirts but getting too old for that. (58 yrs. old)
Ideas: 1) styling for body types, like busty chest, no defined waist, skinny legs, tall. 2) How to style a T Shirt, especially for larger tummy. 3) Affordable outfits to start your own capsule. 4) Looking fresh and cool in extremely hot weather. 5) Basic purse that can be worn with several day outfits. 6) Outfits with shoes that are truly comfortable, like from Vionic or Clarks. Thank you for your videos!
That is my travel wardrobe. Black White Jean accessories for casual and elegant occasions Works perfect. But I’d be bored to death if I had no colours and prints. Scarfs are my inspiration to use colours that I love. Buy a beautiful scarf that looks good on you ….then look for bottoms and tops to create an outfit. Easy and colourful M
Hello Diana, I would really appreciate some tips for wearing navy or charcoal grey instead of black- including bags and shoes. Thank you! I’ve learned so much from you!
I love your outfits Diana and you always look amazing. I believe that some of the pieces you use are not always suitable for a senior woman such as myself. For example in this video, I would find it hard to wear the sleeveless waistcoat (much as I love it) and other sleeveless garments. Could you do a video with options for a much more senior woman or just anyone who doesn't want to show flabby arms etc. Another suggestion for videos would be travel capsule wardrobes for summer and winter (although you may have already done these). A video with a combined summer and winter travel capsule for when you are travelling to hot and cold destinations on the one journey (as we Australians often do since we often travel for longer due to large distances) would be a great help as shoes and handbags particularly take up a lot of room in your suitcase. Thank you very much.
1 thing i found out about dressing in old age is to throw caution to the wind, wear a light blouse under the waist coat light meaning a thin blouse over a shell top. people will think wow!
@@marianoneill850 i have come to find out in my old sge a great cut and good make up covers many flaws. este lauder is worth digging in the food budget for a great foundation
Hi again lovely. Have you talked to us about de-cluttering our wardrobes. How to do "the purge", remove the emotion out of the process so we can make room for pieces that fit us well now. Perhaps there are pieces which we should never get rid off. Thank you for your content 😊
Hi Diana, I would like to learn how to dress professionally as an academic professor but not to be too frumpy/ stiff. Thank you for another episode on that topic
Suiting is your friend. Luckily, also very on-trend. I would buy a black or navy suit & maybe one in burgundy. Also, a waistcoat/vest, button down white shirt, and a shirt-dress. Hope that helps.
Great videos. I would like to see a video for classic tops long-sleeved or three-quarter length please. You are very classy and I appreciate your videos.
These look lovely on you and suit your coloring and contrast level. Black and white don't suit me, however. Navy and ivory are a possibility but look flat without colour. Tonal outfits with some colour contrast work best. Any suggestions for a capsule like this?
I’m the same. It seems like when it comes to a capsule wardrobe every influencer is wearing black and white. Very smart looking on those who can wear it but pure white and black (near my face) just drain me of colour. I would LOVE to see someone show capsule wardrobes showing various basic colours outside of black and white. Diane you look stunning in black and white!
I loved all the summer looks. I'd like to see heavier, warmer tops, jackets, sweaters, blazers, etc to go with these for icy air con rooms or cold evenings. Thanks!
This has been one of the most helpful videos on how to create simplicity and versatility in the wardrobe. I’ve seen so many videos on this topic and I don’t ever leave comments. Well done! I’m subscribing.
Hallo Diana, you are doing a wonderful Job. I love All your playful combos😊 Nevertheless you Look beautiful with very elegant combos that does not offen fit in my life style. Thank you for inspiring me in injecting once in a while more of Minimalist spirit in my combos. Looking forward for watching more of your videos. 😊
Very interested in your styling suggestions for a dog walker/dog sitter as a daily job. I need an ultra casual, robust capsule wardrobe for each season. Look forward to seeing a video on this topic.
Denim jeans (straight leg), shirt and shorts, weatherproof jacket, cotton blend tops, cargo pants, and hoodies. Adidas runners are the trendiest... But, the Sambas are not as comfortable as the Gazelles. 😁
That's a great suggestion! I look like a tall black bin liner when I walk my dog in rainy, blustery weather. All my waterproofs are black and simply hideous (yet protective).
I like your casual & classy style without being pretentious. I'm in the process of decluttering my closet & make a capsule wardrobe for the different seasons. This video just made my summer wardrobe capsule list. Thank you, I've just subscribe to learn more from you!
Thank you for another great video. I can already see that these garments would make a great travel capsule as well. Perhaps substituting some linen pants for the warmer weather. I think your style and body type is like mine so I really take it to heart your ideas. Always a pleasure watching your videos.
Hi Diana, I found difficult to see how my body changed during menopause. Creating a feminine, flattering hourglass figure appears tricky, to say the least. . This topic may also be helpful for women going through weight changes after for example, having a baby. Thanks!! x
I definitely acknowledge the value of accessory sets Diana. Great clear, concise video with very practical tips. Having a clear plan of what you have/need and clothes that work cohesively is so worthwhile. I would enjoy a video about how and when to buy in a sale for those more expensive items. ❤
Hey, it was really nice and informative. I live in Hamburg in Northern Germany. Here it rains a lot. It would be really kind if you could give tips regarding looking classy in rainy winters and summers.
I always in leggings or sports trousers, I’m so tired of never looking put together but I don’t know where to start. This video has been a great start thank you xx
🌟I never tire of your fresh, glowing appearance and teaching style, Diana. Thank you for highlighting a petite company this time - it's very hard to find high quality videos for petites. I would simply love for you to add more petite content here! I've already learned so much about adapting outfits for my 5'1" figure through the fabulous EFS - but there's a hole in this petite market that you filled beautifully today!🌟 Mary K.
Hello,I would like to express my gratitude for your enlightening and straightforward ways of presenting the information. It would be nice if you gave us guides like "Five essentials in shoes", dressing down/up with the existed basic pieces.❤❤
Hello! Great video. I learned so much. Thank you for making styling so easy. I would live to see a video on adding a little "edge" to a classic wardrobe.
Thank you Diana! I love this video, I found it so clear and useful ! You have such a lovely way of being down to earth, classy, relaxed and utterly chic! I would love to see more videos on how you style black for spring and summer (which this video did really well! ) and more about how you style black with colors. I find that my closet has so much color and pattern! I would love a video on how to style patterns or how to figure out which pieces to keep and how to style them with more basic items 💕 I’m always so excited for your next video !

Hi Diana, some you tube videos are talking about how not to look old/ frumpy/ ouT of date.. and they’re saying to look younger and fresher you should wear a tee shirt with a logo and not ones with all over pattern and NOT to pick out one of the colours in the top for a top layer. And not to make outfits ‘match’’. Sounds ultra casual and a bit thrown together to me but apparently that’s a younger look. It’s been inbuilt into us to try and coordinate our outfits. That look can be achieved from Walmart, Target, Kohl's, etc. She does have access to Zara, which we also have here in the U.S., and she does reference that in some of her videos.
I think that would be difficult for her, since she is based in Europe / Belgium. So we dont have access to those retailers. But having lived in the US quite a while, and knowing these retailers, they unfortunately do not have much of what she recommends such as fitted and tailored pieces. But you can find things there, just be careful with the fit and fabric, and make sure it is not too boxy... I have found good brands there, specially jeans and denim jackets and skirts. But also some nice loose linen shirts and some shorts. So look for things like what she present, just make sure that the fabric is good and will last you, and the cut fits you and is not to boxy and without shape.
Hi Diana. I love your videos and thank you for doing them. I wonder if you'd consider doing a video using trainers while creating casual yet professional looks? I badly broke my ankle and will never again be able to wear anything but lace ups for stability. I'm petite, in my 60s, and look 15 years younger. Thank you for helping me. ❤
I like wearing dresses but I like to wear jackets over them and I struggle to find jackets to wear in the summer. I have a blue and white jean jacket but I feel like I need to change them up more.
Hi Diana! I would like to know how you can dress black on top when black doesn't suit you. ( Black makes me look ill... Unfortunately I have a lot of nice black clothes.😒) You are amazing, thank you for your nice and useful videos.
Just add white accent to highlight your face. In my case it’s white neckline on the top right in the portrait zone, alternatively it can be a light necklace or a scarf, or any extra layer.
The knit tank says explicitly not to wash it on their website. Does the tag say if it can be dry cleaned? The other color (white/taupe stripe) says the same thing, so I don't think it was because of the black dye potentially bleeding onto the white collar. Have you tried to launder yours?
Is it possible to do this amazing minimalist wardrobe NOT in black and white I do not wear either black or white and would love to explore this idea but in a colour palette, This might seem simple to you but I find it difficult and would love your expertise, thank you.
I love the looks and love the B&W but I am really uncomfortable wearing white, it gets dirty so easily and wear I live attracts bugs. What can I do? I am retired and have a 2 month travel upcoming
Other video topics I’d love would be how to inject a bohemian vibe into your chic and minimal styling . How to style for an hourglass figure. I really liked when you focused on a real world client of each body type and showed what silhouettes worked best! more videos on casual day to day styling for busy moms…how to look chic but active and some more tips for styling for petites and where to find great pieces for petite frame. Loved petite resources for this video! My mom is petite and always struggles to find clothes that fit well. Thanks again
Love your minimalist style, but I'm always challenged to pull off a polished and FUN summer wardrobe that respects my fuller bust and broader shoulders and heavier body. The oversized, boxy fashions aren't for me, and I'm not a fan of much of the flouncy boho looks. Add to that, I'm a creative person in my 60's. I don't want to look dated, frumpy or like I escaped from the funny farm. Would welcome any tips for women who fit my profile.
Hi Diana, thank you for This great video. Love the brand. My frame is very petite as yours but I am 5.7. Would it work? And I don’t see the sizes that you are wearing, where are they? Thanks again!
I am wearing medium and large , but if you go for small or Xs they will definitely fit you. Just double check the measurements next to the sizes for a garment you like.
Love this video and yes it is extremely helpful! 🌴☀️🦩😊❤️☺️🥰❤️🥰 I love pairing white and black and gold jewelry together- it's my favorite go to outfit and it never fails!
Not at all! It’s the structure and the principles that may be applied to existing wardrobe. As long as the items are co-ordinated with each other and ensure high rotation. The colour palette may be also different, more colorful if that’s your style!
Adore the looks, but does anyone find moving with a midi jean skirt challenging? I've had several in my life but I find them uncomfortable. They are stiff and restrict my movements - especially when walking even if they have a front slit.
I own 4 of them and wear them a lot even maxi skirt. Try to go size up that it sits quite loose, than you don’t feel restricted even if the denim is quite stiff.
okay, i wanna know who told diana about me? lol.. i have been 100lbs since 6th grade, my 2 sis always give me clothes so i save the best..all look new cuz i refuse to use soap on them. i have a dior sleevless raw silk coat, part of a 2 piece outfit, and many top brands that are not time stamped, classic, no trendy, and i still wear the same thing! errrr!!!
@dianagoss -Hi Diana, would you consider following up this video with one that deals with the same need (lightweight summer clothing and nothing to wear) for those of us who for medical reasons or choice, have to have the hole body covered. Thank you so much for running such an inspiering website ! 💐💐💐
I bought six items from Petite Studio. Nothing worked. Items were either huge or much too small. No standardization whatsoever. I am a 4 P . Had to return everything.
You said you are not petite, just wondering how tall are you? I'm in USA and 5'4" and under is considered petite. I am 5'4 so I am right on the border... But I do have shorter legs and longer torso

Not at all! It’s the structure and the principles that may be applied to existing wardrobe. As long as the items are co-ordinated with each other and ensure high rotation. The colour palette may be also different, more colorful if that’s your style!
How to wear satin maxi skirt - work, casual, dressed up
Adore the looks, but does anyone find moving with a midi jean skirt challenging? I've had several in my life but I find them uncomfortable. They are stiff and restrict my movements - especially when walking even if they have a front slit.
I own 4 of them and wear them a lot even maxi skirt. Try to go size up that it sits quite loose, than you don’t feel restricted even if the denim is quite stiff.
okay, i wanna know who told diana about me? lol.. i have been 100lbs since 6th grade, my 2 sis always give me clothes so i save the best..all look new cuz i refuse to use soap on them. i have a dior sleevless raw silk coat, part of a 2 piece outfit, and many top brands that are not time stamped, classic, no trendy, and i still wear the same thing! errrr!!!
I enjoy watching your videos very much. But how is it you never introduce other clothing eg dresses, skirts and shirts.
What travel wardrobe do you take to various destinations?
@dianagoss -Hi Diana, would you consider following up this video with one that deals with the same need (lightweight summer clothing and nothing to wear) for those of us who for medical reasons or choice, have to have the hole body covered.
Thank you so much for running such an inspiering website !

Your body size is good for this clothing.
How you dress, bigger sizes???
😊
Great😂
