I have had it for eleven months and it has become almost my every day watch. During summer I have been using another strap. Its strap is too soft for high summer temperatures. I like its accuracy. It runs -1 minute every 17 days. This is great. It is light, very readable and fun to wind it.
@@dennisberceles7387 my comment was almost six months ago. Now it runs much better, it runs -1 minute/35 days. Every night i hand wind it 20-23 rounds before i go to bed. This way its accuracy level is great.
It’s damn near perfect. I agree just a little more decoration and blued screws to match the beauty of the dial side and I’d love to see 100mwr just because I like the peace of mind . I realize that’s not as important to everyone. I’m very tempted.
@@MD-uc8bx I care more about the movement having a ghost-date position to deal with every time the watch is being set than I care about the lack of blued screws and decoration the review brings up as the sole, soft criticisms. For all the time spent discussing the movement (let alone time wasted describing the most obvious and visible features of the watch-I can see that it has black arabic numerals, thanks) it's pretty notable that Swatch isn't criticized here for putting a date-equipped movement into this one instead of the no-date variant it also makes.
@@MeestroDavid I dont know about ETA movements, but in seiko line up no-date nh38 movement is more expensive than nh35 date movement. Maybe this is the way to cut the price?
@@MD-uc8bx I assume it's a cost-cutting move, though I don't know why a no-date would actually cost more than one with the additional parts and complexity of having a date function,. But Swatch/ETA does make a no-date version of this movement already so it's strange to me that they wouldn't use it even if it's a few pennies more since they're all in the same company
Definitely on my list, stunning Tissot heritage thank you again for reviewing this piece, what an amazing value...love it, the dial is impressive, can't wait to get one...
I have this one. My collection is based on having two watches per season and as soon as I saw it I paired it with my speedy for autumn. Couldn't be happier.
For a vintage style watch I'd like to see it a couple of mm smaller. That's a lot of dial/crystal. But most people just look at the case size and think 39mm is a great middle ground size. But the overall look is great. And I prefer the higher beat rate. Power reserve is overrated in my opinion.
The bracelet is extremely poor, and has no half links. The piwematic is very basic and the plastic parts do not boost confidence in it.. I may be harsh but it in no way lives up to the hype influencers have given it. This is a far far better watch. I bought this today and I'm waiting for it so I'm not a Tissot hater.
No all powermatics have plastic parts they make different grades all the way up to fully serviceable chronometer. Besides. So what if they do? Everyone loves Seiko and their 4r but that whole movement is disposable. Even the 6r is becoming not worth servicing.
Lovely dial colour. Little over priced. Take the chronometre writing off. Don't like the train track. Tissot logo cool should be bit bigger + Moved down a little. 36mm-37mm would be better.
FFS just be grateful for the watch!! The chonometre text should be there - it is a chronometre after all - but I would say it should be smaller. It is definitely NOT overpriced for a COSC certified movement. The train track markings hark back to the watches of the 1930s period that the watch is supposed to reflect. 36-37mm would make this a ladies watch - it is as small as it can be while still being wearable by men.
@@Whattimeisit-s8r Men's watches start at 38mm MINIMUM. This is FACT. 37mm, in the modern world, is a woman's watch. FACT. Maybe in 1940 you would find tiny men's watches but nowadays they just look ridiculous. FACT.

I bought this popular video watch from amzwatch , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $380! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
The Beauty of Simplicity!!!

when you removed your watch at night, have it just position the crown on top.
You will notice that it'll accurate within 2-3 seconds + in 1 month.

I’ve had this watch for almost a year and it’s a beaut!
Not so keen on the strap but it was fun trying different ones
Tissot has dropped a few things recently that I really dig. Never a fan before but I like this new, understated direction.
I just love this watch. So simple and elegant, but I think I'll go for the black dial with small seconds
Nice & beautiful dial and COSC certified. ❤🎉
With that discount code its very good price for the value you get in that watch. Still not decided if black or salomon dial :)

Beautiful Piece...GREAT Content as always Bruce!
Please do the Silver dial variant!
Honestly this watch dropped so quietly, and got no fanfare although this watch imo for the price is much better than the PRX powermatic movement.
This is a really nice looking watch. Unfortunately it is a little on the small side for me. Great video!
Not listed on their site anymore, except for the dark dial version.
Is this a Correction of the Powermatic wrong turn? Is this the old 2824 movement,no plastic?
Why no mention of the ghost date position for the crown?
Didn't know it had that, but if so, what a big letdown for a Swatch brand that would presumably have easy access to ETA's no-date variant.
because nobody cares?

Nice watch
Does it have plastic parts inside?
I like the watch I got from amzwatch. That rubber strap combo looks really cool! Been wearing it since last year and love every minute of it.
The chrono text is a lil bit too big for my taste.. tks for the vid, man.
Nice
Is this antimagnetic?

Such an impressive piece in the metal. Easily one of the best watches out there under $1000
It’s a copy of the 1938 pilot watch by longines I have one.
Is that the speckled dial one?
I ordered one after this video. Thanks!

omg. STFU about watch sizes. It's like saying I don't like size 42 pants because a 38 is better.
Great look with a vintage feel. I wonder if they have a white or black dail in the future?
They already released a silver dial one.
@@Rolls_Royster even better!
Not my cup of tea. But specs are good. And the sizing!
!
When it comes to fine imitation watches, MAMACOO delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
This one has been out for months, surprised you left it so late to review. I also like the small seconds version, which is harder to find.
It always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of amzwatch's watch 99% of people will never see.
Vintage
ahhh that 5 bar ruins it. I know eventually I will see fog inside the crystal with 5bar rating in florida
I prefer Tissot Telemeter than this one!
Very underrated watch. Thanks for showcasing this value beast from Tissot.
Dang I like the old Tissot logo a lot 👌
who else is a sucker for a salmon dial
