Loved seeing your video! Love your haircut and pottery and always love seeing you when you go out to your country house, too! Your studio is looking really good! I hope you are feeling better soon!

Just found your channel looking for English recipe of Zurek and Zakwas starter, which I found. Thank you so much for your work and for sharing your recipes and knowledge.
I’m trying to make some of my own heritage recipes healthier (the zakwas is such an important probiotic!), and watching recipes is part of the research.
    Wishing you good health!

Hi, Ania, I am soooo happy to see you got your haircut. That style always suits you.
Just my point of view: Don't feel you have to do these extremely long videos. 15 to 20 minutes is just as good.
I have been a faithful follower since you started videos when your kids were were little, and I can't believe how your kiddos have grown over the years. Isabella really has matured!
It seems the farm works wonders for all of you.
Diabetes is no fun. I have a family member who has had it for 25 years. Just take it a day at a time. ❤
PS. I uploaded an updated picture of me. I am 63 now. 🎉

I find my energy is down but I turn 65 next month. Six months ago I changed how I eat to see if my a1c level will improve in June. No medication for that yet. Trying to avoid metformin.
Praying for you to feel your best again. Enjoyed seeing you, your kitty, and daughter.

I’m sorry to hear about your health problems. I’ve been type 2 diabetic for about 15 years. I’ve been on insulin and high blood pressure medication for many years.
Over the past 3 months I’ve managed to lose 23 lbs and having good results eating very low carb (keto or ketovore diet) or no carb (carnivore diet) along with doing intermittent fasting.
As for the yogurt, you need to thaw the frozen yogurt before you add it to the pot. If you add it frozen, the milk cannot come up to the correct temperature in the usual amount of time it takes to make the yogurt.
To thaw it properly just put the container in the refrigerator overnight or until it is completely thawed.
The yogurt that was frozen will still have the live bacteria necessary as long as you thaw it completely before adding it to your milk.

I’m so sorry to hear about the diabetes and fatigue. Been diabetic 10 years myself and I can remember the first few months and the medications that are given. It’s a lot! You mentioned that you’ve had a few weird lows….keep track of it and the weather. Weird….yes….but I find that in the spring and the fall/winter when the temperatures go up and down a lot, I get a lot of lows. I’m not sure if anyone else find that but I do lol. As far as the fatigue goes, try walking, and maybe a short nap in the afternoon (this depends on your sleep at night…if you don’t sleep well then probably not a good idea for a nap). A lot of cultures encourage a nap, and I find that when I do medication changes it helps. Even if I don’t sleep, I put on a relaxing video. You’re doing great Ania! You really shine (happiness) in your studio ❤️

So so glad to see you again! My husband has type 2 diabetes and it can be a struggle at times for him keeping to his diet. I have bought him sugar free sweets but he sometimes sneaks a piece of cake or a soda. 🙄 The medicines he takes have made him lose weight so that has been a positive for him. I am sure the fatigue will lessen for you in time as it did for my husband. Anyway I am so glad to see a video from you. I missed you and by the way, I LOVE the haircut! 😘

Missed you Ania and was just thinking about you. It was so good seeing you back on camera. I know all about the health issues, and I'm so sorry you're dealing with all this. I am the same age as you, I think we're only a month or two apart and this year my health has been an issue too. Back in January I went for my routine blood work and found out my triglyceride levels were high, also got diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my hands. I have been on a low carb, low sugar and mediterranean diet, and have lost 26 pounds so far. I only drink water, no snacks at all, not even dark chocolate. I also try to do at least 10 minutes of walking at home exercises. It was so hard at first because I was overweight, out of energy, always out of breath, foggy brain, painful joints.....it was crazy.
My energy is back, I am sleeping well at night and it's been amazing for my arthritis.
I know you don't feel like being on camera, but just think if you start vlogging daily again, it gets you up and moving, and keeps you accountable with your diet, AND you can help us all on the same path with healthy food.
I do hope you start feeling better. Oh and maybe check out Dr. Berg here on UA-cam, he is fantastic. My brother got diagnosed with diabetes as well, and in a few weeks, all his levels dropped by following what Dr. Berg suggests.
BTW, I love your haircut, have always loved your hair short like that. Stay well Ania, if I can do this with my health, anyone can.
    ❤❤❤

I’m sorry you haven’t been feeling well. I’m in full menopause myself. I gained about 15lbs, I don’t sleep especially well, I need an afternoon nap and even then my overall energy level is low. If I get 3 tasks completed in a day, I was productive.
Take care of yourself and give yourself grace as we all adjust to the new us. 💗

Glad. You are back. But the thing to recognize is that you bought always produce at Coscto. Diabetes central!!
You have those cookies in you pie plate pretty soon sure they come from Costco. Also drinking copious amounts of coffee with that sweetener probably doesn’t help either.
Well hopefully you will get better ❤❤❤
