With $1500 to $2000 a month in old age security and some savings, with a nice little rig like this, I could live like this the rest of my life and be happy :) Cheers

Thank you for rescuing your dog. And thanks for sharing your story!
Dogs do grab our hearts. And sometimes our sandwich. But they are worth it.

Finally - an Aliner on your channel! Thank you Bob. We have one and love it. We're more the weekend warrior types (husband, wife and dog) so not living in it full time but we always say if a tree falls on our house, we won't be homeless. We could move into our Aliner and head west to catch up with all you wonderful folks. Looking forward to the inside tour next.

Morgan. As I'm sure you know, Bob sometimes does two videos (one as an interview and second one as a tour) so he may have #2 coming out later. But if you look elsewhere there are a lot of YT videos showing these A Liner trailers inside and out. I like these trailers as well. Have a wonderful day . . . Cheers

I love most of your videos; this one especially. We have 1 year old Aliner Classic and love it. We have no plans for living in it but, may spend a few months in it when sell our house and buy a new condo. I think he’s making his life harder than it needs to be, though. The sink is great - has a pump and water heater. The one cupboard he showed under the bench seat is intended for a porta-potty. I wouldn’t be wild about having my toilet out in the living area. We use ours at night and tuck it away during the day.

I have always thought that A liners were the weirdest, least practical design. What I didn't realize is that they are a type of pop up. Now I am considering one. I weekend warrior in my minivan, and my BFF is considering getting some kind of class B, truck camper, or something that we can take on the road. If my Minivan can pull this it would be a pretty great solution.

I saw this at an Rv show this weekend and was surprised at how roomy it is inside. That said, not for a family but for a single traveler its quite nice. No bathroom and I think they do not have any fresh water tank either. The sticker price at the show was $24,000 and that was a discount! I have read that the roof's tend to leak after a while and then I read that the roofs tend to leak on pretty much all light weight travel trailers.

Aliners are easy to repair. Air conditioners do not last long. Fastenings have a tendency to back out. For more information you can view the Aliners Owners Club web site. Great organization, state clubs and regional. We have logged over 40k on our Ranger 15. Boon docking, dispersed camping throughout the US. You can't beat the Aliner. Great info on your videos.

I enjoyed watching and listening to the video. Aliners have been on my mind for many decades. I was hoping to see the inside and changes/ additional that he had done. He struck me as as DYI guy who could give important personal insight in that regard. Also, would like to hear more of the traveling aspect ie, typical places that are acceptable/accommodating towards the A-liners along with overnight camping fees and such. How often does one need to disconnect and go to market for supplies? Maybe another video of yours covers those subjects?

I've heard a lot of comments about tents and soft-sided pop-ups not being allowed at campgrounds and specifically at Yellowstone. I took a long camping trip in 2019 and I camped in Yellowstone in a tent at Madison campground for a week in September and lots of other campers were doing the same thing. There is one RV-only campground at Yellowstone where soft-sided pop-ups may not be allowed but there were no restrictions on tents or soft-sided trailers anywhere else in the park when I was there. The only place I went where they didn't allow tents was a state park in eastern Montana where they had a recent grizzly sighting, but even that wasn't a permanent ban. My trip took me through 9 western states.

April 7, 2018, Saturday, 11:26pm: I would like to see this ALiner ontop of a pickup....as the camper shell. Would that be possible? I like the idea of no towing....an all in one live-in situation. I agree with Bud....I would have opted for the two dormer windows.....in snow country or just in beautiful surroundings, I'd like to be able to see out all the way around the ALINER. $12k.....not a bad price. I'm an RN, and I kinda agree with Bud about the bacteria threat in those water containers. Yeah, yeah, you can bleach-n-water dilution disinfect them, but.....Plus, water weighs a lot. About 10 pounds per gallon.
