I don’t think it’s Tech because he was unable to repair his dam communication gauntlet 😂😂😂
It's Cody
@@LaughtiludieYT if I had to guess I'd say it is Cody
@@LaughtiludieYTI don’t think they will put Cody in there like that. He gone awol for idk how many seasons just to have a screen time like that. I think he will appear somewhere near the end episodes
@@TheReaper-ep2cqIt’s not Tech because Crosshair In season 3 ep 6 revealed that the empire is trying to turn him into a dark assassin as well but unfortunately for the empire he is a defective clone therefore it failed so that’s the reason why Tech is not the Assassin as he is also a Defective clone
If it was true he would need his tools on him
In 3 weeks: “somehow Fives returned”
10 weeks later
The empire played a prank on the ENTIRE GALAXY 😱😨🌌😹
That wouldn’t be possible because we saw fives body so he is 100% dead.

They gave Tech the "Winter Soldier" treatment.
What is that?
@@BlueLeader101 it's an MCU reference as to paraphrase the art of wiping a clone's mind and make them into a clone assassin.
@@jessemillan1385 Highly unlikely they could erase Tech’s big brain.
It's called "mk ultra".
@@BlueLeader101I think Cody is more possible due to the knifing
I think you guys are overlooking what was said during the fight between Crosshair and the shadow agent. The shadow agent says "You had you're chance to be one of us. You chose the wrong side." Wouldn't that imply that they knew each other, so if was Tech, Crosshair would know.
Crosshair could be keeping it from the others. So they don’t see what Tech’s become. He’s already being super sketch about these shadow troopers for some reason.
@@joshuacollins9316 Yeah when he saw the shadow trooper in the cell he immediately told everyone to leave. Makes you think what Crosshair doesn't want the group to know
I think it's either the real Crosshair or a clone of him
@treybone408_4, so a clone clone😂
@@gusindeed6748 yeah or he's the real Crosshair. He is an excellent shot like Crosshair and you notice that Crosshair with the batch isnt shooting that good(like a stormtrooper lol) I think this could be happening but I know one thing its keeping us entertained
It's Cody 100%, he's been "awol" but hasn't shown up with Rex anywhere? I think it was a way to make him disappear and then make him one of those "nameless soldiers". I also feel that during the most recent episode where the shadow agent infiltrates the stronghold, he passes on an opportunity to take a shot at Rex WHILE they were actively firing at him.
It isn’t he left the empire
@@jedi742We don't know that for sure though. Crosshair was only told that he left the Empire. We don't see him with Rex, so it's possible that it was just a cover-up.

it’s so obviously general grievous
I think it is “count dooku
I could be wrong but Did nobody pay attention to the line crosshair dropped when he said they tried to make him one of them but it didn’t work because being defective is in his nature debunking the idea it could be tech since he himself is also considered to be defective
I don’t think just because it wouldn’t work on crosshair dies t mean it wouldn’t work on tech. This isn’t the same as order 66.
He meant by the defect his tremulous hand.
They’ve successfully implanted his ‘defect’ into these spook clones imo
Crosshair also literally said that it where the operatives are created. This straight up is not proof, or even evidence it could be Tech. It's way too vague. @@joshuacollins9316
@@magicwizard4784 no he meat as hes a defective clone the whole reason he was in the bad batch to begin with!
That is not Tech. It's another clone that's been reprogrammed to serve the Empire. When Crosshair was held captive at Mount Tantis, he explained that they were trying to turn him into a Shadow Operative, but his genes rejected the transfer because he was a defective clone. If Tech is also defective, then it's unlikely that he'll be converted into another assassin.
It's Cody
@@LaughtiludieYTPossibly.
He literally explained this in the vid. Tech is not crosshair, and would have been close to death and weekend when the empire found him.
Plus this isn’t order 66, just because it didn’t work on crosshair doesn’t mean it wouldn’t work on Tech.
He meant by the defect his tremulous hand.
@@joshuacollins9316 Tech is more of a defective clone than crosshair, there's no chance that it would work on him.
I really really really really REALLY hope he isn’t still alive.
For once Star Wars just needs to let a great character stay dead. If they say he’s still alive it makes his sacrifice less impactful. Xx
Bad.
Batch.
Someday, for some character…. But not this one. Not Tech.
@@BrideofLoki I have to disagree.
As much as I love tech, having him survive his death would be so anticlimactic and ruin his sacrifice at the end of S2.
I’m fed up of Star Wars insisting that popular characters can’t die anymore, it takes away from the consequences and and repercussions of the franchise. Xx
They never "said" he was dead it was implied but ambiguous
“Wrong.” - Crosshair
Next thing your going to tell us that count Dooku is still alive.
hahahahahahah, Na sifo dias is still alive
Bro there will be an upcoming series about how Chi Gong Gin and Mace of the Wind survived and created there own spice empire
Actually Asajj Ventress is confirmed to be in the Bad Batch final season (hint to dooku). I think (might be a big reach) that Ventress is the shadow figure cause we don't know if she's allready in the show cause we haven't seen her face, might her face be covered? like the shadow figure?
@@indonemesis1020 yes we know she is but she is not assassin, thats a clone, and we don't know who's side she is on yet, we will have to wait and see
@@senatorchris3134I just like to believe that Filoni allready anticipates on the fact that fans immidiately think about a clone being the shadow figure. Also why I think it's not a clone at all for the wtf moment
Another little detail is the knife the imperial assassin was using during his fight with crosshair. That knife was first seen when we were introduced to the bad batch. And we have never seen that knife anywhere else in the entire series except from the bad batch crew.
Reasons why this isn’t tech (my opinion)
1. We saw him died
2. If he was at Tantiss crosshair would know prolly know
3. Omega had freedom at the facility so she would definitely know
4. Crosshair comfirmed in the episode that the program didn’t work bc he defective, just like tech who is a lot smarter, he even confirmed this in the 1st season saying due to his “exceptional mind” he was immune to the chip effect
5. Tech was never a CQB or a sharpshooter
The only logical answer would be Cody bc we still don’t know what really happen to him
I agree with you, people reach too hard to make it seem like tech
Crosshair meant by the defect his tremulous hand.
And we same saw like Gregor dies, but he survived.
@@magicwizard4784 no proof that his tremoring hand was before being evaluated for the shadow program
@@magicwizard4784 Gregor had Katarn armor which is much stronger than clone armor and had personal deflector shields built in. Tech fell from a vast height with no deflector shields, armor was not much better than regs armor, even katarn armor wouldnt have been able tk survive that fall
It's not Tech. He's Commander Cody.
Cody defected. Its not him
We haven’t seen Cody since just saying.
I kinda felt like the first shadow clone could have been Cody, I mean I'm sure Hemlock could erase that scar of his but obviously since he was killed we'll never know for sure. Plus that clone seemed to respond to Rex more then the 1 from season 2.
@@CarolDowning-lm7fm Cody doesn't die tho so he couldn't be the one in the cell
I agree with this. Most other clones who become X assassins mean less when unmasked as Rex and the others have no way of knowing who these assassins were previously. But with Cody they will be able to tell who he was when he is unmasked. It will be epic! My guess is Cody asked to leave the Empire and they sent him to Hemlock for the reprogramming.
Something else of note, I do find it interesting that they decided to show the shadow clone surviving at the end of the episode, I feel if this was just another shadow clone then they either would’ve killed him off or not even bother showing him surviving, but them choosing to show this means that this specific clone might be important and may come back later in the season. I’m not gonna say that this adds more proof that this is Tech but it is something to note
could also be Cody
What about the shadow clone leading a squadron in the trailer, who's that. Could it be him ?
I think the biggest piece of potential evidence is the fact that this "unnamed" imperial agent had a death scare 3 times and came out fine all 3 times.
Now we know that Wolfe is not Rex’s secret contact.
I think it's Cody but tech will come back as the very first prototype dark trooper because it's perfectly set up for it. Tantiss is where all the new advancements are made and in the EU dark troopers started as people before being just hyper advanced droids. It would be a waste if the assassin wasn't Cody and also tech not being the first prototype dark trooper which is also going to be irredeemable and will have to be killed for good.
Actually this makes a lot of sense, particularly since I could see that as being a catalyst for Wolf being like "oh the empire are actually the bad guys"
Same.
Hopefully you're wrong
An important detail to note is that in the season 2 finale, Hemlock had Tech's broken glasses in his hands. Now since Hemlock is the head of the Advanced Science Division on Tantiss, he wouldn't discard something or someone so easily especially if there's a purpose. I do think this is just the many glimpses of the early stages of the Dark Trooper project in which clones are used as tools, ideally brainwashed. Another detail I noticed was the the injuries and limping of the Shadow Agent which does strike a resemblance to Tech's leg injury in the season prior. If you listened carefully, the Shadow Agent's breathing does sound quite similar to Tech's breathing when he was injured, ideally his groaning sounds. Regarding Cody, I don't think he is the Shadow Agent. He didn't necessarily disobey orders as Crosshair carried it out anyways. He simply just left without trace and is probably going to appear later in the season.
I think this shadow agent is a clone of crossair. This shadow agent is really good with a sniper rifle and the helmet is also similar
My thoughts as well
and the voice is deep and raspy, my same thought glad im not alone
I think it's the real Crosshair or a clone I noticed that right away when he started shooting
How?! We don’t see the empire have the ability, or Kamino, to age up clones that fast.
Unless they specifically had a clone of crosshair for years?
It's the voice it just almost sounds like a disturbing distorted crosshairs
I’m surprised no one else seems to think it could be Sev, I find it interesting how his marksmanship was superior to all the other clones, that and his voice was deeper than previous CXs and of regs. I also find it interesting how Scorch was the one to “activate” him specifically, indicating Scorch definitely has some familiarity or trust in his abilities. His personal vendetta with crosshair could’ve been a sniper rivalry
You forgot to mention something from episode 7 that is FOR SURE proof of that Clone Assassin being Tech, and that is the scene where he shoots Nemec and Crosshair uses his thermal vision to try to spot him and when he does see the assassin, did anyone else notice that both his legs and arm (s) and other parts of his body were black while the rest of him glowed orange and yellow? That could only mean that those parts of him are prosthetic. (We also see that the assassin wears different leggings to the rest of his suit and others like him. Instead of the black green color , his legs have brown bracers)
THIS! Exactly. Originally I thought it could potentially be Cody or a clone of Crosshair, which don't get me wrong are still genuine possibilities, but prosthetic limbs? Why would a clone of Crosshair need prosthetic limbs? And if it is Cody, what happened to him to cause him to need prosthetics? Still have questions about his sniping abilities, because they're as good as Crosshairs' once was, but we'll get our answers soon.
It’s either Tech or a clone of Crosshair. It’s the speech pattern and the marksmanship.
That would be badass
Crosshair wasnt the only sharpshooter. And cloning crosshair is a stretch. the simplest answer is usually the right answer. Its someone else you know
Commander Cody.
@@CodyKatastrophic It could be because he was the only Clone force 99 trooper to have DNA taken by hemlock
You can't make a fighting clone in 6 months by stw logic
My idea for Tech's fate is more gruesome than being a Shadow. It comes from Wolfenstein.
What about Tech being caught and working for Saw Gerrera ?
@@austinsosnowski7123 Gerrera was off planet when Tech fell
The knife of the assassin clone had is also a type of knife that only the bad batch and certain commanders like commander Cody use.
but where did the knife come from? I remember a scene where he took the knife from somewhere.
He definitely seemed familiar, I wouldn't be surprised if it is him.
Another interesting thing is, that when Crosshair used the thermal image of his rangefinder, we see that the legs of this Assasin show no heat signature.
So you are insinuating its Tech and he has droid legs because he lost his in the fall, could be possible
Hunter has Tech's broken glasses on a desk in an earlier episode. This implies they've actually found his body.
Tech became the winter soldier
If it is tech they def dialled up his marksman skills to the top😂
"This shadow agent is Tech and i can prove it"
No, you did not
Exactly
The bad batch always felt empty without tech so I would be so happy if he came back
Tech died with his helmet on, and hunter had his damaged helmet in episode 2. Insinuating they recovered their fallen brothers body.
there were only gugles
no hemlock gave them techs goggles in the finale of season 2
I know it might sound like im reaching butbthe way the supersoldier cutting hi s wire then falling reminded of tech cutting himslf loose
Can we just say in the scene where the shadow agent is shown putting explosives on the walls is a reference to the first episode in the bad batch in season one where tech attaches shock-nades to the droids.
Even the helmet is shaped like his hair style
I thought the helmet looked like a gimp mask, and I started calling him the gimp imp

I’m here now, just finished this episode. It was so AWESOME. Rex & Wolfe “reunited”, and Wolfe showed some good in him by letting them escape. So cool to see them together again in a different Star Wars show besides The Clone Wars.
Tech is alive but thats not him
Tech is not alive.
@@TheGreatOne-gw7xh he is
Didn't see him tho
In actuality this particular agent makes extensive use of his gear. Just like Tech; Cody made use of extra antennas to ensure additional encryption for comms. The arm keypad, and most importantly his inability to follow orders is important. What makes this possible is that Tech could’ve suffered major cerebral trauma from his fall. The same way that Echo was free from his control chip due to separatist experimentation, the same could happen to Tech except this experimentation made it easier to manipulate him.
No matter what it will be a clone that we will recognize when the helmet is off.
Who is here after season 3 finale?
Meeee
“Imagine Rex going against Darth Vader.”
Do you guys like good storytelling or just pointing and pogging at familiar characters doing things on a tv screen?
yea this channel comes off very disney shill at times. Bad writing and judgement got us a very much hated sequel series
@@saintjames1718 There's so much cool stuff to get interested in like Dune, The Expanse, Babylon 5, The OT of Star Wars, and all of the old EU books and this is what the fans get excited for? Yeesh.
Maybe that shadow agent is a clone of Crosshair and the damage done to Crosshair was supposed to be a process of making a clone that is almost like him.
Tech is also a defect so he can't be changed into that type of trooper but perhaps they took in his body after the fall to make a clone like him.
There is also a chance they mixed the blood of Tech and Crosshair to make a sort of super trooper. (They ran blood tests while Crosshair was held captive)
I think it's neither Tech or Cody. it's just a random dude
I'm going with a random clone about to make his story but Tech's gotta be alive and Cody's gotta be able help soon
The Rise of Skywalker: Somehow Palpatine returned..
The Bad Batch: Somehow Tech returned..
I think the Agent is a clone of Crosshair, because of the helmet scope, the rifle and the way he runs. Tec was more like a Intelligence type with Ash's Pokémon data pad, but Crosshair is more a ruthless rifleman with a deep tone attitude. The cloned Agent might be having some copied flashbacks and un willing to follow orders that is why he went rouge against Commander Woffe's orders.
I wouldn't be really surprised if Tech did survive that fall from the tram. If some TK troopers can, Tech can.
its Tech, the amount of plot armour this clone has is crazy
We not even gonna mention how he even sounds a little like tech
You seem to forget Hammock threw Tech's goggles in front of Hunter's feet back in season 2. Which could further prove Tech's survival
I legit said “oh no” out loud when I saw this
Yes it very well could be tech. But I think it's the real Crosshair or clone Crosshair just look how accurate he is when shooting
You have a very solid point. The equipment from the first assassin was very standard, whereas the equipment used by the later assassin had many gadgets that crosshair would use like the sniper rifle, backpack, and helmet scanner. He is also very accurate, like crosshair pre-torture. It is also possible that they had injected other clones with his genetic code to aid in their skills and accuracy, which is why his hand shakes later on. It's possible they've extracted so much DNA from his that his body could not continue supplying and recreating that specific defect.
I like that theroy but if hes a crosshair clone how were they able to grow him that fast? The originals took 10 years to grow.
@@cameronfranks1847 they'll throw some new way to grow clones lol
@@cameronfranks1847 I agree they cannot increase a clone's lifespan to that degree, it has to be a clone that was given some of Crosshair's DNA.
I knew when Hemlock handed over those goggles, that was the same as giving Gandalf the mithril shirt.
Think about this tech fell to his “death” so did this agent. It’s very similar to the point that it’s symbolism and as George would say, “it’s all like poetry”
In the trailer we see a shadow agent standing infront of a bunch of TK troopers. He is probably this shadow trooper.
Oh and by the way that is 100% Asajj in the trailer because in the subtitles it says her name.
that's a long stretch
like Crosshair, he resisted the Tantiss' reprograming due to his irregular genetics
plus, Tech is a technician. he's not a sharpshooter
After watching the Finale,I want TECH alive and Hoping Star Wars anime can get him back in the future
Ever since season two ended and made me cry with techs death I’ve thought that hemlock would use his mind as the clones from the comics that the empire took their vital organs and made a droid clone trooper suit kind of like general grievous to train the new meme bees of the empire and I want it to happen so bad
1:53 Tech could be alive under the mountain clouds that leads to a lake or river
Between him flipping down his scanner and his repeated fiddling with his suit's keypad... yeah, it's Tech.
The helmet falls off. Hunter looks up and recognizes the now visible face.
"Tech?"
"Who the hell is Tech?"
(I dare you to argue this won't happen!)
It didn't happen....
That would make sense why that specific trooper has a personal grudge and puts so much damn effort.
the Agent is also very thin, likes to use regular grenades and sticky grenades. Which Tech did/does too.. Cody is much more thicker.
It's Cody, same dagger, and the scene in the river mirrored a scene earlier with Cody and Crosshair
He grabbed the knife off of a trooper in the base
Not even watching this video, it has been emphasized that when crosshair went through the process he couldn't be converted because he was defective.
I think theres a higher chance its cody simply because we never actually knew where he is since going "awol"
Boys how could Yall miss the "You had your chance to be one of us and you missed it" line
Tbh the assassin does the most dogma on umbara things
wait, another clone that was an amazing marksman was sev. he was captured by the sepratists but not confirmed dead
The clone operatives, atleast some are clones of crosshairs. Crosshair he’s traumatised. He shakes and it’s from his hand, it’s no coincidence that the bloods sample’s that are collected in tantis are from your fingers, I reckons the clone operatives, at least some are clones of crosshair and some are also clones of other clones.
i assumed he was dead since in the second episode we see his mangled goggles but when they got them idk
Tech probably calculated the fall and place that he would fall. He did suffer a fall but survived due to the snow
This isn't Tech. It's more than likely Cody because of the knife used here.
i dont think its tech because Crosshair's immunity to reconditioning implies the Shadow Agent isn't a resurrected Tech.
But Crosshair said they couldn't turn him into a CX clone because of his mutations. Tech is also mutated
I ran the assassin's voice through a voice changer, and it IS Tech's voice!
😅😅😅 Dee Bradley would agree!😅😅😅
I'm sorry but you forgot one important thing. EPISODE 2 in the beginning where hunter is trying to mess with their ship computer on the side TECH'S GOOGLES BROKEN even if the body was not showing but not even mention a "Hey we went back and tech is definitely dead"
Hemlock is the one who showed Hunter the googles, so no, they never went back 😕
If crosshair says they failed to turn him as one due to him being defective then how logically can they turn tech? It could be fives, cant be wolffe although we may see rex save him soon, jessie, or just random clone from clone shadow troopers
u convinced me when u shown win walking out his ship. the way he stop and looked and put is thingy down is tech like
I'm can only hope that's not Tech ....
Let that character RIP folks dieing on a mission, saving the ones he cared about.
This clone assassin has a very different voice from the one in s2e7 and that clone was comfirmed as a reg. Tech as a different dialect. It´s true we didn´t see Tech die, only fall. It´s like with Darth Maul, he was cut in two and fell, yet he survived. If this Tech I really hope they tell us how he survived such a high fall. Parachute, railcar safety mechanism, anything.
I feel like it’s either tech or a crosshair clone, i think a dead giveaway is how the CX talks his voice tone and how he says his words feel like either tech or crosshair
Its Cody. Makes way more sense because Cody is alive, "deserted" and didnt show up in Rex' Rebel group. So he likely been captured and transformed into this assassin.
He knows Crosshair. And hes alive.
NOT TECH. This is the Marrok hypothesis b.s. all over again. His broken glasses were shown in the first episode. They clearly recovered his gear/body. He's gone. Let it go.
It's Hemlock who showed Hunter the googles in the last episode of season 2, they never went back for the body.
I think it’s a clone of cross hair
I think that this could be Tech, because I think that, when Tech fall into the clouds, he could hit something that damaged him as we see in that video that his arm was dislocated and like a robot didn’t worked, he tapped a few buttons and it worked again. But it could happen maybe the same thing like Anakin: he lost his limbs. Maybe Tech hurt himself and he was forces to get new limbs. So I think that Tech was repaired similar to Anakin, which made him a robot.
Yeah my guess was that this is Tech also. It just makes so much sense.
This show is better than most live action stuff we get these days.
The imperial agent got his leg injured and limped when he fell off the waterfall. Tech got injured in one of the first 3 episodes of season 2
That shadow clone is a clone of crosshair the way he shoots and how he talks with a little attitude since cross hairs resisted the program he was supposed to be learn.
It has to be Tech, we know in the season 3 trailer that this operative and the empire find their way Pabu, how else would they know where Pabu is if it wasn’t Tech who told them where it was? Also he survived so much damage in these episodes, getting crushed by rocks and falling from a massive waterfall, I reckon it’s because of all the cybernetic enhancements Tech must’ve gotten after his supposed death in season 2, not to mention he easily overpowered Crosshair in hand to hand combat
It's also possible that they are using his brain and body to extract information, depending on how messed up his body could have been after his fall. Tech was not exactly the clone that had Hyper-Lethal abilities but was highly intelligent and could remember a multitude of things. Maybe they gave him the Techno-Union "Echo" treatment to analyze Tech's memories for Pabu's location.
Just because the empire didn't arrive on pabu before does not mean they don't know where it is
Also we might see that next week since that arc is coming close
@@Alexgodofwar5662 That is true, we don't know if they already knew about Pabu, but it's possible that they did not know about the shear presence on Pabu. It's such a desolate planet they probably just skimmed over it.
It could also be Dogma or Slik.Or a Crosshair clone
I dont think its tech. The fact that they pulled brain washing the clone with the biggest brain doesnt sit with me. Its more likely cody which hurts even more.
My guess is, it's Jar Jar Spinks...
I kept thinking, God if that is tech... It really sucks that he keeps falling from high places.
It can’t be him because they are inhanced by the inhibitor chip and tech had his removed.
But maybe they installed another inhibitor chip?
I think it's either the real crosshair or a clone of the clone of crosshair
*That's a gimp dog mask change my mind..*
I think it might be Tech, becuse Hemlock had Tech's goggles in his posession which means that either Tech is dead and Hemlock stripped his goggles of Tech's dead body or Hemlock took it when they took Tech to Tantiss.
At this point anything is possible...
hemlock had tech's goggles
I don't think he reacted odd to seeing Omega, if you remember, she wasn't his target, but when he saw her, he realized there was something more valuable here then the captured agent.
