In this tutorial Gary, a Mailchimp certified partner, demonstrates how to authenticate the domain you send from in Mailchimp if your host uses cPanel. Gary shows where to find the instructions in Mailchimp on how to authenticate your domain. He then shows how to add the two CNAME records into the DNS settings in cPanel (cPanel is used by most hosts including SiteGround, HostGator, A2 Hosting and Bluehost).
Gary has also created instructional videos on how to authenticate your domain if you use Cloudflare ( • How to Authenticate Yo... ) or GoDaddy ( • Get better results by ... ) as your domain host.
Thank you mate!
I am now going to enjoy a cup of coffee in the meantime the records are verified!
Glad it helped.

Thank you! I have tried to follow several tutorials and it was doing my head in. Even though my cpanel looks completely different, I was able to follow your instructions and get it done.

No problem JB :)
Everyone in these videos sounds identical, it's always simple. If it's so simple, what does that make someone like me. I've watched a handful of different videos on cname, dkim stuff, and can't comprehend a damn bit of this shit.
Hi Neil, added to the issue is that the process is different between hosts :( Try mailchimp.com/help/set-up-email-domain-authentication/ as it may help.
So helpful- thank you!
Glad it helped Emily :)
