Man…I miss David in the band so much. His swag and groove is what made Korn special. If Mike Portnoy could rejoin Dream Theatre, I hope David comes back one day. Some people are born to do what they do. Portnoy belongs in DT as much as David in Korn. Replace them and you lose something special about that band.
David has that rough feel, somewhat inconsistent time that is undeniably korn. Ray is a phenom, one of the best rock drummers out there, but he’s too polished, too exact. Completely different vibe. And he plays too many fills.
Batista Scott Ray’s damn good, there’s no argument there, but I’d love to see David come back for at least one tour. It ain’t gonna happen though. Too much damage been done and like you said, they’ve got a hell of a drummer.
Serenity of suffering is a good album. But just watched a video Ray drumming whilst they played freak on a leash, and whilst ray is a talented drummer it didn't sound right, no emphasise on the break beats , and loads of fills and drum rolls which drowned out fieldys hip hop slap bass . Kinda ruined the song

I don't get all you Korn heads... Silveria is all over the place with his tempos. He's really not that great at all... One of annoying to listen to this old shit after a waaaayyy better, tighter and funkier drummer like Ray has killed it.
David as a drummer was shot after his nerve problems. He couldn't play anymore, he blamed producers and others but it is what it is, he can't play to a high level anymore. Ray is far superior and brings more out of the boys tbh. Their last two albums have been bloody good. If Dave did come back he wouldn't be able to play the newer Korn stuff, he wouldn't be able to keep up nor hit Ray Ray's grooves.
The distinct sound of David's cymbals, are an instantly identifiable sound.
Those Paiste Signatures are my favorites to use
paiste rudes
The only drummer for Korn , that's the truth
@@daniele4513fax ray is a whackass
yup I concur, rays Sabians just dont cut it. Rudes all the way even though these are signatures here in the video.
David Silveira es el sonido de korn!
I miss Korn with David.
Korn was better with David hands down

I like Ray..but David needs his throne back. Simple.
Yep. That sure would be interesting. The fans would love it that's for sure

David up there beating the piss out of them drums. Korn was never the same when he left.
yeah that was like 10 years ago, get over it...

Let's all agree Ray is way better even without Korn he's still a better drummer

fieldy killledddd itt
Amazing sound!!! With headphones, it’s like giving a kiss to a train
Back when David was a model, Jonathan busy with his bagpipe, Munky had anger management problem, and Fieldy win the throw up competition in X games...
James holding shit together with perfection! Gr8 performance!
David was awsome! Ive never watch korn without head.
David is the best.(mic drop)
Better sounding korn period

I always thought got the life didn’t translate great live but was always a good closing song.
BadFUCKINGass!!!
I think this was literally right before David quit. I can tell he sort of doesn’t give a shit in this performance
A year before. He took his “hiatus” around December 2006/January 2007.
KoRn is nothing without david, y'all know that. Bring david back 😖
Hell yeah bring him back that's my uncle
Ray is way better and has already proved that many times over

No. Fuck you
Have you seen how shit david is these days lmao check out his band core10 first 😂
This is the korn that was so fkn fire. Nowdays is just BS

David Silveria was the goat in the drumm!
80,000 view can't belive it
Pues creelo que esto es historico
good its not slow
Drums are the tempo of every song. I miss David. Ray goes too slow
Hah David’s 808 just sounds like a fart at 0:42
Where was Head? Did he already quit by this time?
Yes, Head was gone at this point.
i mean ray is better and more technical drummer! but david made and created those drums when he was in korn. OG will always be the best.
You can tell David was losing it. Still amazing but losing his hands and focus overall.
Sounds like he was getting pissed because of the mix. Looks like earpiece kept falling out too. Alot harder than it looks because you cant hear shit.
Losing what exactly?
I thought he was on point in 06 myself
He had the back injury by the time they played this show.

They're gonna go into the rock n roll hall of fame so I hope we get one more performance from the og band...ray is an awesome drummer
everybody got fat, one got slim
Poor Munky has to cover both David and his tracks.
It's what I was thinking throughout the performance, even so he got the job done quite cleanly.
En esta actuación las relaciones estaban tensas por no decir casi terminadas
where is the 2nd guitar??.
Backstage.
Lol
where's head?
What year is this
2005
where is head
He left the band in 2005

Strange to say a mic stand that is a naked woman as "gay"....
What a disaster, no wonder they kicked David out soon after this (or welcomed his outing).
