I finally got the Sarasa Grand in the brown grey. I waited because I usually hate 0.5mm (I’ve gotten so used to 0.38) but HOLY cow I love this pen! The thickness of the line is perfect, I love how luxury it feels.
I love this! I have seen on other videos that you actually use the supplies you're recommending, which isn't something I always see with other bullet journal content. Thank you :)
Really enjoyed seeing what your stationery essentials are! I also have the Stalogy journal and I love how smooth certain pens glide along the pages. I definitely agree that having the option to pick which sized notebook to write in and the number of pages is really convenient. I didn't really like this journal at first because the pages couldn't handle some of the fountain pen inks I was using at the time, but it's been growing on me ever since I purchased one to use as a reading journal. Seeing your date stamp makes me want to pick up my inks and stamps again! As for my own stationery essentials, I adore using fountain pens! My favorite is the Pilot Falcon, and I also grew to love it over time. The pentel fude brush pen is a must for headers or writing something in bold. For journals, I tend to go for brands that are fountain pen friendly and minimal, so the Midori MD or Nanami Seven Seas are my staples. Finally, to spice up my pages, I love collaging with washi tape and Classiky letterpress products.
Back when I did hand lettering I also loved the Fude brush pen, that and the fudenosuke were my go to brush pens! Thanks for sharing your favourites friend!
What a nice curated collection of stationary supplies! I have the same categories as you but different products. I am in love with my Pilot Decimo fountain pen with Platinum Carbon Black ink. For notebooks, my current favorite is Nanami Paper Company, especially the cafe notes in the B6 Slim ruled for personal journal and A6 grid for bullet journal. I love my Cannon Ivy printer for photo journaling. Lastly, I use a self-inking date stamp that I searched long and hard to find a stamp that has the number of the day first. US tends to put the month first but I like to see the day first
INTERESTING! I had no idea America date stamps put the month first, that's wild 🤯 That also sounds like a great collection of well used supplies Karen! Thanks for sharing your picks, especially the fountain pen stuff!
@@KaitlinGrey yeah, in school we were taught to write the month, day then year. To me, it makes way more sense to put the day first because I already know what month it is. I guess I should shop a Canadian store if I every need a replacement? I’m assuming by your response is that’s how Canadian’s write the date?
I also bought the Sarasa Grand because I saw your video. Still trying to get used to the heavier body but it is very pretty. I use the Green Black ink since green is my fave color :)
I love this! You’ve picked such beautiful items for your essentials. I might even make a video inspired by this for Journal Sunshine if that’s okay with you (would mention your channel too)!
Have you ever tried a nanami notebook? Tomoe River paper and 480 pages, just enough for a full year for me and no thicker than a stalogy. The grading is super light as well and they have grid, dot grid, lined and blank, a5 and a6 as well as very similar style covers.

I have the gold pen but got the brown to try and I'm obsessed with that color now!
Oh cool, the gold special edition Sarasa Grand? The brown black is such a perfect pen colour 👌🏻
@@KaitlinGrey oh no lol I'm not that fancy. It's just the gold body. I didn't even know there was a special edition. I might get the gray black next
LOOOOOVEE the Sarasa Grand too!!!! Lovely video as always, Kaitlin!
haha yay Job!!! And that's saying a lot bc I know how much you love your fountain pens 👀 Glad you enjoyed the video!

Those clips are so gorgeous. I love how they don’t bulk up the pages
Yes! They're so helpful 🙌🏻

I have not! I'll have to check it out next time I need to buy a new notebook, thanks for the recommendation ❤️
Your journal should be in a gallery!
Wow what a high compliment, thank you homie 🙌🏻
Dang, I'm extremely early :D
Well you know what they say, the early bird gets to watch the video first lol yup that’s definitely it 😂
