Thank you so much! I was beyond frustrated trying to snap the earpads on, almost destroying the bit that clips under from trying so many times to force them on. Yours is the only video I've seen that mentions how you must have the scrims away from the edges. You clearly know what you're doing and explain it quite well. Thanks
As someone who has always struggled with this task, I have to thank you for the very clear instructions you provided! I was able to replace my ear pads without losing my mind, for once.
I just walked through this process myself relaxing the pads. Here's a few extra tips: 1. It's best to put the headphones on a cushy surface - I used a kitchen towel. 2. When putting in the screens I reversed them bc I'm a lefty so the L & R were reversed. Also, use the existing pad to trim the screens down before sealing them in with the sticky pads. 3. BE PATIENT! When I pushed the cardboard-like frame under the 10 tabs, I used the blue tool to go around the edge slowly. I found going slowly and having a well lit space is very helpful. As a person with a physical disability in my hand this was doable. I had to brace one ear cuff while slowly using the tool to slightly tuck the cuff frame under each tab. Worked like a charm! Thanks for the multi-angle visuals and step by step walk through it was great!
To remove vestiges of the "sticky stuff" just put a little bit of "orange" TKO on cotton swab; squeeze out any excess; swab the sticky stuff and it should come completely off
Thank you so much! I thought the headphone pad rings ALSO used adhesive and almost ruined my QC45's with superglue. Those little clip things really challenged my dexterity but now my headphones are good to go again.
@@accessoryhouse well, I kinda use them almost 24/7, so that may be the issue. I use them when I’m riding my bike, maybe the sweat makes the pads slowly weaker
@@Sometheus Yup, that will do it. Sweat is probably the biggest thing that will deteriorate the pu leather. If you use them 24/7, then one year is probably decent.
Had the same problem after 10 months, and I only use them when I work on my computer (2 hours a day), very dissapointing, they are very expensive but the quality is not good.I also use a budget headphone, the sound is better, the NC is close, the bass is much better and I train with them (12 hours a week) and the pads are still good.
The ear pads from Bose are exactly the same. My pads are thicker and I added a different liner to the back of my QC45 pads to help with isolation. Check them out here - www.amazon.com/dp/B0C8RSDXHV?ref=myi_title_dp&th=1 Cheers
@@accessoryhouse I have a black Bose quiet comfort ultra so I would assume black. I am wondering if you have different pads made specifically for the Bose quiet comfort ultra. 🙏🏽

My bose headphone QC45 is not working. When connect to charging its blinking yellow and white continuously. When switched off charging point though blinking for few seconds but when disconnect charging cable blinking stop. I tried to reset, so pressed power/blue tooth button and multi function button for more than 30 second but not able to reset the headphone QC45 or not blue light show.

Great video Accessory house, if there was a link to your product in amazon I would have gladly clicked to buy.

@greggshaw7936 nice tip 👌 👍
What about the top part of the headphones? I’m replacing that as well and there doesn’t seem to be a video for that. It’s quite tricky!
Hello, did you buy my headband specifically? I have a video for mine. I can link you
Can i use the qc45 earpads on my old qc35ii? Are those the same fit or i have to order exactly my model?
You can use qc45 ear pads and scrims, they are the same
@accessoryhouse yep and same with the new quiet comfort that just came out.
Thank you, very clear and useful instructions 🙂
👍😁
My Bose QC 35 II doesnt have those clips... does this mean ill have to glue it on?

Great to know you saved them 😁👍
thank you!!

I only had my QC 35 II for a year and already have to replace the ear pads, extremely disappointed not gonna lie
That is quite early for the original pads to fail. Do you use them while exercising?

Is it possible to wash my old ones instead of buying new ones ?
@Polo5000- You can wipe them with a cloth, but if the foam has been ruined, not much can be done. Ifcyou wash too much, the pu leather will peel.
Yeah I just tried that and the grease won’t go. Guess I’ll have to buy some new ones. Thanks
How did it go? Do you have any suggestions for other watchers and replacing their Bose QuietComfort 35 (QC35) or Bose QuietComfort 45 (QC45) ear pads?
