    THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!! I thought it was going to be difficult to do the replacement and thats why I was postponing the replacement for a long time. My cat peed on a blanket where also my headphones were lying on at that moment and therefore I couldnt postpone it anymore as the smell was horrible lol. I just did the replacement after watching your video and it was super easy thanks to you, rly appreciate it!!

    Well done with this video. I just replaced my pair using your instructions. I didn't see how the tool was supposed to be used, but you cleared it up. Thanks!

    For MONTHS i tried every so often to get my replacement ear pads on,but couldn't. I watched 3 other videos before yours an still no help. But then,you had my problem discovered,as i pulled off the old pair i had left the black plastic 'ring' inside the speaker area...I just pulled it out and now it fits perfect! Thank you so much! It looked so natural in there i never would have guessed to remove the ring . New subscriber!

    I'd ordered them prior to seeing your video. I needed to see the vid due to having some problems getting the pads on. I don't have enough finger strength to pop on the pads so I needed to how to use the little tool. Great helpful video, thank you. I was successful getting my pads on.

    Brilliant video. I could never have replaced the pads without this help. However getting the pads clipped in place was a nightmare and I feared I would puncture the soft leahter skin. If the match is a millimetre out between lug and clip then they may not clip into place. I had to leave at least one clip undone.

    Mine are so old that the foam insides are... Not inside anymore lol. When I tried to pull it, the rubber was tearing. Once you showed me though I knew to grab the hidden plastic bit!

    Why wouldn’t you just change them one at a time so you don’t confuse the L and the R? That’s what I did

    In most cases no need to replace the textile pads, just pop the cushions and insert the new ones. Especially if you bought the blue ones for QC25 (typically a bit cheaper) and want to keep the color.

    • @CarPlayLife
      @CarPlayLife  10 місяців тому

      Thanks for sharing. The QC35 come all in one with fabric inner liner so you have to replace the whole thing.

      @@CarPlayLife Not sure what you mean. Both QC25 and QC35 have textile liners (blue for QC25 and black for QC35) and black pads (grey for QC35 v2). I have all of these headphones at home. Pads are the same across the whole headphones family. Typically liners stay intact and pads wear out. I think I once bought like 4 pairs of replacement pads/liner on AliExpress for $5 total including delivery. Set include liners, but if they are of unwanted / bad color, you can just trash the liners and replace pads only.
      BTW in the video you are using QC25 replacement set.

    Can I leave the same R and L letters?

      Sorry I don’t understand. The replacements come with L and R letters on them though they might not be the same as the originals.

    While I certainly appreciate your attention to detail in this video, I cannot, for the life of me, get the left ear pad back on. It's as if the plastic ring is just a tiny bit too thick to be wedged under the clips. I don't want to risk ripping the pad or slipping with the tool and gouging the delicate frame ... any ideas???

      It was a while since this video so I’m struggling to think of how hard it was. I remember the teeth being a challenge and that I had to twist them in or slightly bend them into themselves to get them under the small clips. I even remember I couldn’t get them all in and might have left one not clipped in.

    GooGone carefully applied with a Q-tip work quite well.
