Let’s fucking gooo! Our door is open anytime you wanna come rip shit up “legally” and you know we always have some bad ideas to collab on. 🤘🔥
Don't threaten him with a good time :P
I was saying to @vin_tra, you guys need to come to Australia to visit The Bend Motorsport Park!
Everyone should be thankful that DDE is trying to keep the band together and providing a space. Maybe Zach could be Essa's stand in for the time being :0
We need more DDE x Zac x Vin content!
The most unexpected crossover, but so dope
Hell yeah! Zac, Vin, and DDE are the true Hoons. DDE should be renting them a spot instead of this little garage they are all sharing. Then more collabs would be right next door.
I also think you all need to link up with Cleetus’s crew for some events. Zac already knows about that. Maybe at Indy 😉😉 because I’ll be there. lol
That og crew was unmatched. If you guys all got together again for a whole new channel you'd take over automotive youtube. You guys are the best keep shredding🤘🏼
This. This right here. But do it more casual and keep it more casual. No company. Just homies being homies and having a good time. (In the traditional sense for us/them.)
@@3xeplodng_3agle_studios 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@eriklarson9137 ? I don't get it.
@@3xeplodng_3agle_studios They all aged out and are on to bigger and better things. Nostalgia plays a pretty big part in wanting to see the boys together again but it seems like they've all matured into different paths at this current moment in their lives and for them, I'm sure it no longer feels the same as well.
As far as what yup1692 was saying, they did have a channel, it was called Hoonigans.
@@driftr6068 my point has been missed entirely. I'm not coming from a nostalgic point of view. I've been leaving supportive comments on all their departure and all the initial vids/posts I came across, gotten responses, had a couple short conversations in fact, here, and on Instagram.
Its not about recreating hoonigan. Its about the fact they're all still boys. It ain't like they'll never see/hang with each other again. Not asking to be in on peoples *_personal_* personal lives, but if they had a channel, *_JUST_* a channel, where they occasionally posted group content. That'd be cool. The content is going to exist either way, so why not?
The days of DT when the episodes were released at midnight were some of the best media I have ever watched. I would wait up EVERY night to watch right as it was posted.
Those midnight releases were so sick.
Early DT was best DT
Damn dude, you're a true OG
@@MISTERZACHARYYeah haha Aside from the Gymkhana videos, I started regularly watching the Hoonigan channel with Leah Pritchett's Hellcat burnout and A Beer With videos
Damn..I forgot about the A Beer With series; those were great.
"God damn cybertrucks are ugly." I think we all feel that in our soul.
I'm excited to see everyone go their own way. I'm rooting for every single of you. Hert's got something absolutely incredible going on, Vin has really gone out on his own and it feels super genuine, Dan is finally giving us basically what we've always wanted to see from him because it's just him, I feel like all of this is just a super positive thing.
HELL YA DUDE! I'm super grateful for the years of good times we've had and excited to whats next for you!
I am happily subbed to all the homies now.
I think you and Zac should join DDE staff . ! Better times . :)

Believe me brother.. We all miss those days. Peak automotive culture, peak automotive UA-cam, peak everything. Buncha great friends with great energy doing what they loved most. Wish Hoonigan didn’t go the way it has, but hey… that’s life. Things can’t always stay the same forever. Been following along since nearly the beginning and it’s sad to see it “fall apart” for lack of better terms. But thankful I got to make it to multiple events, kick it at the OG spot, meet all ya’ll, and follow along the way over the last 10+ years. Hoonigan gave all of us everlasting memories, and changed the entire course of automotive UA-cam, and automotive culture as a whole. Proud of what ya’ll have accomplished over all these years and I’m excited to see what ya’ll have in store for the future 🙏🏻
Miss the OG hoonigan videos and wild stunts. Happy to see you try things on your own. You were always one of my favorites on the show
Ken would be proud of you guys that left. Keeping his vision alive. Much success to you guys the OG’s of Hoonigan!!!!
who sold the company?
@@Mastermindyoung14Brian and Ken actually did in like 2018 if I remember correctly. This is super vague because I barely remember, but In some video (or maybe even a podcast?), probably 2 or 3 years ago I remember them saying something along the lines that they had a 5 year contract to keep doing things the way they were. I don’t remember the specifics, but that does line up pretty well with everyone’s departure. I could be way off with that story, but I know they sold the company all the way back in like 2018
@@toddbrown4185 Zach himself actually just told me yesterday that it was sold in late 2020.
Gotta be honest, I did not expect all the homies from Hoonigan to split off and do their own channels, but I'm 100% here for it! You, Vinny, Hert, all championing your own channels is exactly what my notification list needed. Fuckin RAD!
Dan too...

Wow man. You have always been one of my favourite "characters" on HOONIGAN and always will be. Love your energy and you are literally the perfect hype man. As a teeny tiny youtuber from Canada, I know all the struggles with going out on your own and opening your own shop or starting your own gig. Its been hard, I feel like it will be hard for years to come as I watch the subs slowly trickle in by 4 or 5 per day but I am trying to do what I love in the hopes that it will work out and one day pay off. The CREATIVE aspect of "work". This is what people like us dream to make it big in doing and honestly...... after tossing around the idea of buying my first Harley to build for YEARS.... Your video has inspired me to sell some of my 50s and 60s (and maybe even some of my 70s... [honestly its probably worth a grand total of $85]) rusty junk to finance a build of a Harley and lay down some show stopping custom paint on. Thanks Zach. You're a LEGEND and always will be dude. We're cut from the same cloth.
Absolutely magical. So much has changed. I was watching Hoonigan in school and now I have worked in shops and I am working towards my own builds. Gotta keep the dreams in motion! Only you can make it happen!
The golden age a few years back were truly amazing. Doing those donuts in that tiny lot and up the loading ramp. Truly insane!

Hoonigan is now officially Hoonigone. Glad to see another OG start his own gig.
who sold the business?
They got bought out by a huge company that's why they weren't doing the wild shit like they used to I wish I knew the name of the corporation that bought em out
@@justinwebster7761 Wheel Pro.
They bought them in late 2020. And who was it that sold Hoonigan? Companies don't spontaneously get purchased...
Damn.....that hit me 😢
@@Mastermindyoung14it's not all that uncommon for companies that are sold to corporations to keep their heart and soul for a while after the sale while the original owner is still involved I'm the business. It is very common for that heart and soul to disintegrate as soon as the original owner to step away from the business. Seems to me from the outside that Ken was a major factor in holding Hoonigan together since the purchase.
What really struck me, when you said your creativity wasn't there in chase of the dollar or along those lines. I've been a machinist for 10 years, and I love it! I dove head first into the field and have only climbed the ladder fast! Lately though, is where I relate to your comment, 4 years ago I fully rebuilt the engine for my 2002 B5 Audi S4 (Scotto I'm sure is familiar lol) it just needs a few minor fixes, but I haven't had time to get to it, mainly cause I've been a machinist for repairing steam turbines, working CRAZY hours often with no days off! My goal has been to transition into being a freelance machinist, but not having time except to eat then sleep has really had a toll on me! All that being said, looking forward to see what you come up with! Keep it up bro! 💪🙌
Damn Zach, I was wondering when you were going to do your outro video. The timing between Hert, then Vinny, and now yours I'd say is about evenly staggered. Dude, your contributions to the show always had me cracking up, but I totally get the change of times... Time to reboot and take control in what you're moving on to next.
Seeing Micah rip the yard in his BMW will forever be cemented in my head. That was peak man line. Your builds were always a nice change to whatever the other guys were doing. Boomhauer was top notch
That is probably the sickest rip in that yard of all time I'm nit sure I'd anyone else could top it
Fuck yeah, that and when Piotr and Deane shredded
Micah's was cool in his like 8 liter LS BMW, next was the red 370Z At the yard with the figure 8 around the container
Micah's rip was DEFinitely the hardest man line there ever was.
@@justinwebster7761 if that was a FD pro 1 event, Micah would have won driver of the year. that was the sickest line of that man's career. Probably the sickest line of all time.
You were the "Heartbeat" of Hoonigan. Thank you for all you did with Hoonigan and the car culture. We will see you around!
Got introduced through the Dyna build and lived the 2 wheel stuff you did for Hoonigan adding a new perspective and all the stuff afterwards has been awesome from the smoke shows to the off-road stuff. Keep up the awesome work man

The Wheel Pros merger was the worst thing to happen to Hoonigan.
This was so well said and spot on with how I felt as a viewer in the beginning of hoonigan. The exciting part is seeing what comes to fruition after each of you do your own thing, or together in a different way
Not gonna lie, this is the most excited I’ve been after watching the collection of “post hoonigan” videos.
Thanks for the stories, I really enjoy that kind of stuff and think many people do.

Man, I wonder if WP acknowledges or knows what’s they’ve lost. At the same time, it’s awesome to see all you guys flourish and leave the nest to do your own things, which I’m sure will eventually lead to everyone co-creating with each other. Being stuck in a career of boring office jobs, you fools have gotten me (and so many others, I’m sure) through our shitty days by allowing us to live vicariously through you. And for myself, after going through a divorce while you guys were getting DT and the other shows off the ground, sometimes watching the homies rip burnouts and manlines was the only thing keeping me going. Cheers to your new adventures, looking forward to see what you guys come up with and I’d love to get my Mustang featured by you (if I can ever get it done lol)!
how do u view it as leaving the nest? I feel its like too many rules where added and they got tied down by rope ... now they are free to do as they please.
As a mechanic I wasn't a fan of the nonsense side of hoonigan, seemed like "try to hard" stupid bs wrecking good cars people wish they had... so as a media company WP has the decision which direction to go & I think they want to make hoonigan more corporate, more polished, more like TV was.. which imo these guys are not that & they're all leaving & saying the same thing. "Too corporate, don't want to sit in an office"..
@@CanadianOnlookeryea kin is turning in his grave. That is hoonigans.. that's what made the brand. It was already corporate smh.corporate is in more ways then 1 but then where's the fun in it when you take out how it was built it turns to shit
the whole thing changed when they started making a ton of money. They paid the guys to work all day and then at night they had free reign over the shop. To build cars and whatever they wanted, as long as they filmed it. As YT blew up and a ton of money starting coming in, the videos got harder and harder to make. It took more effort to put one together. So they hired more people and the guys like VIn, Zach, Hert, Dan, all those dudes now had to deal with deadlines and it turned them messing with cars into a more structured thing. You could tell the last couple years the magic just wasn't there. You also had the boys seeing that they were making the brand so much money by just being in videos. They were always going to start leaving but the sale of Hoonigan and the death of KB sealed it for a lot of the OG's. @@CanadianOnlooker
I was going through a complete shit relationship when DT and all the content started. The boys got me through some shit too, I know the feeling. I also got into rc cars (as it's wayyyy more affordable lol) as a way to decompress. One day at a time brother!
Your truck builds are some of my favorite of all time. The c10 is unmatched in my opinion. Keep kicking ass. Subscribed.
Being someone who started watching you guys when you started in high school till now when I’m running my own company it was wild watching some of those old clips good luck on your next adventure bro
Still the king of chop.
I seriously miss the Long Beach content. When there were like 5 different channels, each with different styles of content. Was truly awesome going down memory lane. Also, very hyped to see you put out content of getting back to what makes you, (and us), happy!!!
Bought what I suspect might be my last Hoonigan merch just now. Changing the guard, I hope the spirit can remain. What a run it was. So happy to see everyone branching into their own personal projects. Here's to just a whole lot more from all of you!
I still remember that c10 build. Always loved your energy, you'll continue your success I'm sure
I think I can speak for a lot of us when I say that what drew me to Hoonigan in the first place was the bond that was obvious between the crew and seeing y'all having fun and bouncing off each other! (And the odd wall)
Behind you every step of the way brother, it's great seeing you engaged and thriving again 🤙
In a GnarPM video long ago when Mike Tornabene was buying his R8, he joked that you were his financial advisor and it took me years to realize he was joking. Always loved the two of you together.
Looking forward to seeing what you create!
Yup...the coop is finally flown, we'll watch...Good luck Dude. Shouts from the UK.
Bro. I’m in the same headspace. Trying to figure out the next step back to happiness. I’m stoked you’ve found a new avenue and I hope you come out on top!
Hoonigan hasn't been the same since just before moving to Compton. I'd hoped that move was gonna bring back the old spark but, it just wasn't the same for whatever reason. So glad I stumbled onto this Zack. I'm here for whatever you got Bud.
I never realized how early on I got into Hoonigan, I always thought it had been a thing for years before I starred watching daily transmissions in like... The 40s-50s? Crazy. We all miss that time too.
Awesome to see some crazy stuff coming up!
Good luck Zach!! I remember meeting you while hanging out with Ruslan at the Burnyard at SEMA a few years back and I really appreciated you taking some time to show off the c10 you’d just built. I could clearly could see your passion for your builds and Hoonigan and it made me a fan for what you guys were doing as a collective. Hope to see you making some new rad content that makes you happy while also making you money. 🤘🤘
Follow your passion brother. Good luck on your thing, I’m in for the ride.
I am starting to see a pattern in the way people leaving hoonigan:
1· lack of motivation
2· Movement to more overseeing / corporate position
3· Miss the old days, but seeing the problems / recklessness within that time
4· Creatives having found themselves in a position they once were in and went to hoonigan the old position
5· Just being real people and growing into different people
To end I am not saying Hoonigan is a shell of it's former self. I agree it is not the same (wow people change), but it doesn't mean it's bad it's just different. Still really enjoy what Hoonigan puts out. Some aspects have left that I have looked for in other youtube channels, but what is was missing was the energy, and the input from these creatives, that moved around in the company in it's growth.
"Hoonigan" is just a corporate name for what once was WheelPros now. Hoonigan used to be a community and a badass company but now it's just another corporation driven primarily by the dollar and not the content or creation of its people. It sucks.
@@pootmahgoots8482 Pretty much seeing the same thing with Motortrend. Wrecked by corporate garbage. Now look at it.
It’s wildly entertaining, but any group with that much fun and shenanigans doesn’t last very long. Generally it ends up being very expensive and often people get hurt and/or tear up a bunch of stuff. Sometimes it’s even other people in the area don’t enjoy it and can make enough hassle to get it shut down.
Best to just remember the good times and move on.
@@NBSV1thing you have to ask yourself though is this. Had KB43 not had a tragic and unexpected accident doing probably the safest thing he had done in the last 20 years, would WheelPros have done to these guys what they did? Im not saying WheelPros took advantage of the situation, I'm just saying the second the dust settled they started making a bunch of decisions he never would've been okay with them making.
@@chriscaine1776 Hoonigan had already started changing from what it was before Ken died. Especially once they moved into the new lot. But, you can't really keep up what they were doing long term and things grow and change over time anyway. They haven't done daily transmission or even had the yard shred sessions for a long time. Haven't even really seen people just messing around and having fun for a long time either.
I think Wheel Pros caught them at the tail end of a lot of transition and then just finished it off by driving away a bunch of "old timers".
So pumped for this. The OGs are doin what we all enjoy again. The Hoonigan channel has been done and it shows by only putting out the same show over and over for 2 years now.
As others have already said, the OG’s were the golden years. When y’all were together, magic just happened, and it never looked like y’all were trying.

First thing, wishing you all best and best vibes for you. I discovered Hoonigan after watching a Ken Block gymkana video and liked/loved what I saw. The coolest vibes and content blowing my mind with each video posted. Even bought Hoonigan merch which I love and wear proudly. Regardless of the location, each video has been a blast, you were one of the reasons why I chose to watch because of your talent and your passion for creating content. I understand where you are coming from. As a photographer other things can get in the way of creating something. Get your own perspective and content. I might not be able to attend your events, but will definitely watch your videos and content on UA-cam. Do what makes you happy. A guy from Nyc. Much love and support and respect ✊

Watching your individual channels instead of what Hoonigan eventually became post-Ken has been really cathartic. You've provided a lot of comfort for a group of people who felt a little lost without our fearless hero. Can't wait to see what's next Zach!
Ya know Zach, I feel you man. I had a similar epiphany recently. I realized the job I was working, although fruitful in pay, was killing me inside. I was making good money at a warehouse that sells cheaply manufactured Chinese "performance" parts for American vehicles. I bet a lot of people here can take a guess at what company and get it right. After a few years, I realized that it just wasn't working for me. I couldn't stand behind the products, I didn't feel engaged in my work, and overall, the place just made me feel burned down on a good day. So I recently decided to make a change and I'm hoping that the new job will bring back what's seemed to be missing for the past few years and I'll be able to get back to building and doing what I love. That being said, I am beyond excited to see what your kickass new channel brings and I'm glad you're still around on UA-cam. I wish you boat loads of success and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us.

The days of Daily Transmission was my personal favorite period of time for Hoonigan videos. It was just so insane watching what you guys would do, I just remember laughing so hard at the burnout firework video. That was pure gold.
For a while Ive thought your "brand" would easily transition to its own away from hoonigan and Im really glad to see you taking the leap.
Love the burnout comp too, with GUP taking cars to america, cleetus doing his thing, its great to see the sport elevate. But a word of warning, with big prize money comes big egos and the need for clear rules and clear judging. Weve had too many controversies over the years that put a dampner on events. Having said that I cannot wait to see it all unfold.
Best luck to you. Will

On some future videos, would you mind sharing a few stories about the time you worked with Ken in Utah. Whatever you'd feel comfortable with. I think a lot of us would like that.
Being an idiot is part of his brand
Absolutely plan on it. It just needs its own video as I want to do it justice. Working with Ken changed my life forever.
FIREARMS AND CARS! Awesome. I dig your enthusiasm and you have the right enthusiast mindset. Subbed.
Great to see the OG crew back to doing what they love best. You're right. Hoonigan just has too many rules and got too big to just have fun.
Seeing all of the original crew do their thing is so inspiring. Thank you for not giviing up!
its sad to see hoonigan stop being what made it so great just the boys hanging out but the boys are gone i think once ken passed i just couldnt bare to even watch hoonigan :/ i still miss him such a good guy
one of the best ''i quit'' video so far from the boys. Really cool to see all the rad shit you did trough the years. Looking forward the next stuff you post
Looking forward to what you got to show us man! Good luck with everything
Guns, boats, bikes and burnouts sounds like a winning formula to me man. Such a wicked dude, all the OG fans will back you up. It would be insane to see you go do the Unsubscribe podcast and shoot with the boys down there. Those dudes and their whole group are all right up your alley and your channel would blow up 30x overnight 🔥🙏
Zac the Chopmaster Rides on, eff the haters, the first gen Hoonigan crew is now spreading out to infect the rest of the industry, this is good! Looking forward to it.
Maaaaaaaannn....this is really inspiring....I've been in a massive rut thinking about the SAME THING!! I'm really at my happiest when I'm creating something out of nothing or rippin TASTY donuts!...I have to get back to it. Thanks man! You helped reignite the fire!
Much love brother, I’ll be here along the way can’t wait to see what’s in store🔥🤙🏽
Zach and cleetus is a much needed collab
Love Cleeter. Absolute legend in his own time.
Another one! If we saw all these guys’ “Leaving Hoonigan” videos 5 years ago, we would be devastated. But right now, seeing all our favorite car guys branching out and having fun again is all we want to see. God speed Zach!
I always loved the camera hand off from the car to a person standing or vise versa.
Breh…. Everyone leaving is so bitter sweet. After Ken’s passing, Hoonigan didn’t feel the same but it’s still his brainchild and inspired so many people with the word, Hoonigan, alone. I guess all things must come to an end but the golden era will never be forgotten. So glad it’s enshrined on the internet forever 🙏🏽
10:49 dude you’re gonna make me cry, thinking about the past😢 watching you guys grew up with so expressional. Oh man I’m legit tearing up. Geez, good times.
More versions of your own cams sounds like a great idea the BFD was next level !!! congratulations on the new ventures. Followed along from hoonigan for years, always been my favorite person on that channel, now following along here… GO SMASH IT BRO !!!
Totally understand why you left. Whenever possible being able to follow your passion is important. Happy and proud for you, Vin, Hert and all the guys busting out. Subscribed and excited for your new content. 💪🏼
The name Stacy David brings back so many memories. In the late 90s on sick days from high school, there would be episodes of his show that I'd always watch
