He was loud and clear to me. If you’re not on military time it doesn’t matter if it’s AM or PM. Every 12 hours displays the same numbers. And at 1 pm military time is 13 hours…
I know how to change the time…but we lost power recently and the clock keeps defaulting to military time. I’ll have to pull out my instruction manual. I would have hoped that would have been addressed in this video.

Lovely. I have to move a very heavy piece of furniture to access the plug. Which means I have to commit the ultimate sin of plugging the microwave into a power strip so I can power cycle it after every power glitch. I can just imagine the shrieking and rending of garments at the board meeting when someone suggested adding a battery backup. "Oh my god! Another 15 cents per unit? Can you imagine what that is going to do to our PROFITS?! Joe still owes money on his yacht; I have a Supreme court justice I'm paying for!"

You must unplug and re-plug in LG microwave to get into clock mode.

But if I turn off the wall socket power the time has to set again upon restart. It has no memory :(
Yup! Like probably every microwave in the world. The best indacator to know if you lost power.

How do you change from 24 hour clock to 12 hour clock
That is an excellent question, I will do my research and make a video on this one. I believe you have to reboot the Microwave to see the option.

Hi , my lg doesn't say clock or timer on it. The clock is not at 12H. It says 0, as if waiting for a timer command. How do I set the clock?

What do you mean by off? The clock? I don't think you can.

You got it while rebooting the microwave
i dont bother anymore. every time the power goes out at home these things get off. its a pain in the ass. so I placed an echo show in my kitchen that keeps the time even after the power goes off. no more setting the microwave clock. echo show will have exact time once the power comes back on. much simpler. as advanced as LG is you'd think they would have the common sense to include a battery backup for the clock.
