We bought this microwave a few months ago. Being someone who always uses the kitchen timer, I find this specific feature incredibly frustrating (maybe more of an annoyance) that I have to open the door to use it, clear it etc.
I'm getting this oven soon so I read through the manual. One thing I read that I like is that if you don't want the oven to draw vampire (standby) power, you can just not set the clock.
F-3 error code popped up and is appearing on the display. How do you fix this. Continues every time use. Microwave is only 3 month old and LG customer service just gives me the run around with finally saying email me with refund never happens. Check credit card and nothing. Call back and start over again from step 1. I guess there is no log is kept of the previous conversation?
Having to unplug the microwave for time changes twice a year is frustrating. This is a design flaw that definitely should be rectified. The clock also gains time over several months so you can end up pulling this awkward, bulky machine out of its' kitchen cabinet more than twice a year.
