71 and very happily listening 58 years later. The Doors gave us elements of jazz, blues, and rock all rolled into an amazing sound. They wil absolutely l live on forever.
My favorite song by The Doors was "Indian Summer", but I hadn't listened to this band for a long time. I am an extreme reader of Hakan Günday and while reading his book "Zargana" today, I came across a sentence such as "Jim Morrison - "The End" was playing". I wrote "The Doors" with hearts next to the page of the book and listened to The Doors again, after a long time. And on the same day, he shared a song on The Doors channel. I feel very happy when things that I loved but forgot sometimes suddenly come across like this and I remember them again ❤️🩹
Something similar happened to me. These last days (including last night and today) I was again watching documentaries of the doors and listening to their albums. And the fact that this was uploaded today makes me think and also makes me feel good

From one of the greatest debut albums of all time. I remember finding this 2 years ago, my sophomore year of high school and falling in love with it. It took me to a different world. My friend circle at the time didn't understand and as we separated they didn't really respect me, but I found a new circle that loves this music. Truly, Jim is a genius.

This band got better with every album. They (Robby, Ray and John) were at peak musicianship when Jim went to Paris even if his voice got a bit rough - he still was great. These guys had a lot of gas in the tank who knows what would have been recorded.
Fell in love with the doors as a teenager in high school- graduated in ‘82 I owned every album and drew in pencil Jim in his lion pose with the beads he wore. Awesome video. Absolutely magnificent, Morrison in his prime. Thank you To the Door's , you music is unbelievably the best. Love your music like none other. Geniuses all 4 members. RIP. RAY AND JIM.

This is what JM looked and sounded like when he was performing as the house band at The Cheetah. In that era in L.A., kids were allowed in the clubs, and that was one of the clubs we'd hit. When I think back on The Doors, I think it was only a matter of time before Morrison would self-destruct. He was overly ensconced with revving it up. And, with each new measure of shock, he'd rev it a notch higher. He'd look into the audience to watch the faces watching him. It was just a matter of time. I think if he could trade his life to complete his thoughts of becoming legend, it would have gone exactly as it did . . .
Such a phenomenal song - Ray is pure genius and Jim's voice is truly mesmerizing - none of that autotune nonsense here - fond memories and emotions of old school house parties in Queens N.Y - brings tears to my eyes
Thank you for this 🙏. I am in my late twenties and when I was younger my father blasted music by the doors in the car. Also just Jim is one fascinating man. God I love this song
