That (new) Vex public event is basically a rework/reboot of the Vex public event from moon during Shadowkeep era!
Using the landing zone teleport only works if you're in a fireteam, if you're alone it resets the entire instance

Yep had the same problem. Don't use the load zone trick. I lost the chest.
Can't confirm if being in a fire team works but that makes sense. Your team mates "hold" the zone so you load into the same instance
@@krosanreaper Being in a fireteam does indeed work, as long as someone anchors the instance it works. I was able to dip 5 times after my friends hopped on.

The Terminal Override free chest is good for getting +0 drops to even out gear levels.
It drops 10 strand currency. Its not worth it.

Huh, I mostly get a blue weapon, only about about 30% of the time it's a purple one. Just one. The override key chest gives 2-3 purple, resources glimmer and neomuna XP if you have the key and are willing to go through the long process of about 20 mins to complete an override 3 phase
@@ODSTCodaith Blues can still give you a boost if your gear setup works out in a way that certain pieces fall below the +0 drop threshold. Same as purples.
I was hoping that there would be a reduction in the number of red borders you need to 3 but I was especially surprised that once you get 1 you don’t need to make kills on it to get the pattern.
Don't even need to get kills with 1
The changes were more made for vault space so you don’t need kills anymore and don’t have to stock them, just get do the thing dismantle and go on your way, also later in the road you don’t have to grind out 3-5 for the crafatble
You never had to get kills to get the pattern, you just had to dismantle the weapon and you got a pattern
you have never needed to to that. maybe the first month of TWQ. but for the last 3 season you dont need the kill to get it. you can just salvage it and claim the pattern. so this is not new. the only thing new is they just simply removed teh kill counter on it.

For the minotaur supernumeros, the arc craniums do a boatload of damage to the minotaurs, so use those to damage instead of guns

Good info / need to run last part of the Desperate Measures mission - need 2 players
This is unsustainable because no one is doing the first two stages because now everyone is just relaunching until they hit a stage 3
The thing is: It's not only unsustainable but also a massive dick move to farm it that way, like literally people have been grinding that thing for like 10-15 mins at that point and people just load in and get the loot within 30 seconds, I honestly think since it's not timegated Bungie should remove the ability to matchmake into a stage 3, it really doesn't matter cos if you're alone at that point you can still just grind through the HP without a timegate
They need to improve the rewards for stage 1 and 2 then. It takes long to do these events and the enemies are much higher level. Bungie doesn’t respect our time so people are going to do this “dick move”
Worst part is bungee stated they made it more difficult that you need a group of people to finish it. You almost have to cheese this event to get the loot now because it's probably going to be dead by the end of the month

It’s called the Deterministic Chaos- it’s a heavy, it’s a quest you need to complete. you get it after beating the story.
I’m sure most drop rates are RNG related. I’ve been grinding these events since release and only managed to get 1 deep sight per weapon which most of those came from campaign
His RNG rate is high cuz of who he is. He will get all the red border weapons the first couple of weeks and then have them leveled when the next event happens.

No it’s not appreciated bungie need to fix this now the amount of time I have to spend loading in to do one overload is fucking ridiculous just because no one will do the starting rounds and just leave. Your a typical destiny player want everything with minimal effort lazy cunt
I would complete the TERMINAL OVERLOAD but I have been blue screened 5 times after completing the entire public event

There is so much going on at the end of terminal and the exotic events, that the game crashes on ps5(for me and my friend) because of this, we couldnt defeat the last two bosses
of the event, so no exotics for us T_T
2:19 that count for the normal version, or is it only on legendary?
You can see whether or not a public even will be the vex incursion by hovering over the event in the map.
Problem is: too many people are loading in for the boss fight and leaving if it isn’t active; no one is actually doing the event to get there 😅

So for that public event on your map you can see a golden line around the public event, its more like border.
If you buy the character boosts can you go back and run the campaign later to get the red borders still?
I wondered this, I bought the boosts and not sure I can even get the free exotics for my other two characters if I do the campaign again. (Scared to waste my time trying instead of farming).
That sounds like fun. But unfortunately there's never any other players on neamuna. And if i try a public event i get squished instantly.

I just tried porting to the fast travel spot in liming harbor where overload is today cause i wanted to try the 5 or 6 strat instead of 3. Didnt work, i loaded into a different instance of the map

Farming the collections grenade launcher is pretty expensive material-wise so idk that it's very good for new players
I spent a stack of cores on that and didn't get a single good roll. definitely not worth it cosidering you could just craft it when you get the pattern

no they should be basically random. I think there are 3-4 locations that they can spawn at

Does anyone have any updates to the hung jury lightfall season?
Ive only been able to complete 1 vex strike force out of the 6 I attempted. After killing 3 Minotaurs, Destiny 2 crashes every time in the vex strike force event. Every time. I was running in 3 stack every time and every time me and 1 of the others from my stack would have destiny crash at the same point in the same event. Luckily 1 time we were able to join on the one that didnt get kicked. Ive message Bungie and Bungie help and they have not said anything. The amount of times ive been booted from Neomuna and from trying to view my commendations screen is insane. Over 15 times since launch, cant even view the commendations screen or it causing my game to crash.

On harbor terminal overload do not load back into the map it will resettle area I just tried and it was gone and a new terminal overload was up

Tried it in game the fast travel load zone method does not work for me and it always despawns the two chests.
you have to time it right. they despawn quickly but you can still claim the chest one or two more times if you’re quick
@@aratsorceress Sparrow always works for me and I usually can loot three times. What was talking was the loadzone method.

I ve been doing the terminaal overload/ legendary patrol thing for about 2 days now... i think i got 5 deepsights which really aint that good

How do you get more Terminal Overload keys?
Patrols (I think specifically in the vex incursion zone) and opening chests around the areas that you can track with your ghost
That chest glitch has been around since D1
a tip for those who are doing the event with the 6 giant vex, when you use the vex skulls you recover your super very quickly, so a good strategy is to use the warlock well and use the skulls to have infinite supers and the vex skulls deal more damage than your weapons. Yesterday me and two friends did the event without any other players and it was easy with this strategy

The patrols are available in every area. So I usually load into the TO event and drive around the map once. 3/5 times I find one in a different area where the event isn’t at
So my brother owns the annual pass but it won’t let him claim the season pass
My brother and I game share I have no issue claiming the season pass
I didn’t get any red borders from doing the story
What excites me alot more is the fact that this means they have the capability to allow us to pull random roll from collections something we have been wanting for a long time they need to implement this for all weapons in collections
this kinda makes the grind useless, this is definitely going to be patched... 🤔

I don't think it would because u still have to grind to get an abundance of the resources to be able to continuously pull the grenade launcher or other weapons

i would assume not, maybe seasonal weapons but idk. i do recommend buying the dlc imo its a lot of fun the campaign story isnt that good and kinda just filler, the boss fight is still hype and the gameplay of the campaign is really fun and challenging esp on legendary. the post game is really good too and lots of good weapons
@@ItsJayK24 Yea but i got the feeling that neomuna feels empty as hell compared to the throneworld (we are only in week 1 though). Also neomuna has far less interesting landmarks and overall less going on than witchqueen. Especially something like Sethonas fortress was really missing (Meaning an optically and storytechnical insane location). I not once had a wow this looks incredible moment while i had several of those in witchqueen
@@thehiddenone2875 i get that, it looks cool but not necessarily pretty, there is a lot of replayable parts in neomuna, but at the current moment not all that much “different” things to do; the loot is definitely good and i enjoy the vex invasion zone and the terminal overload and ive done them like a hundred times now

Bungie needs to fix or improve it. When i used red border weapon to level up my gear I didn’t get pattern. It was disappointing.

I don't even understand what these red weapons are and weapon patterns jesus man. I hopped back into destiny at the weirdest time it was right before lightfall came out so i got like a hint of the weapon crafting/shaping when i started witch queen but then stopped because lightfall dropped. I just started witch queen today so maybe it will make sense soon, i did shape a weapon at the start of the campaign but i still don't really understand the whole process, my old brain lol
