hey girl! ive noticed that you (and most other influencers) say its not good to apply product when your hair is soaking wet and dripping and i wanted to offer a different perspective! my hair is very coarse/dry and its 3c and the only way my hair can look good is if i apply the products in the shower when my hair is sopping wet. It is because when high porosity hair hits the air out of a shower it starts drying up and tangling immediately. so if anyone has this struggle you should try applying your products in the shower! it definitely is not bad for your hair. much love ❤️

exactly! my hair always is the most moisturized, full w/ volume, and defined when i style it soaking wet immediately after washing
I don’t know my porosity but I have 3A and some 3B and I learned that using hot water and styling with soaking wet hair helps my hair clump more. On damp hair it ends up stringy and it feels horrible.
Mine too my hair dries seconds after getting out of the shower

I have a similar pattern to you and raking is the best way for me too! I like the soaking wet styling technique better for me because I love the elongation and definition it gives me :)

Hey! My hair is the same and mid back length, I had the same issue and tried the aphogee 2 step protein treatment and it helped a lot with strengthening my hair so it doesn’t fall flat from the weight of my hair. I used to do Mayo+ egg + olive oil as a strengthening protein treatment but I just wanted to try something new, try looking up protein treatments! Hope that helps!! 💕

omg my whole life i had curly hair but i would brush it dry us i thought it was straight and i thought my hair was the problem and not the way i was taking care of it haha thank god i saw ur tiktok and founf out we have similar hair type
personally when my hair starts acting up, I usually go like 1 or 2 washes where I don't use products and it works for me.
Maybe it had too much product in it? Product build up....
Thats why its recommended to detox every 6 months or so...

Thanks for the recs. I’m so excited to try these products as we have similar hair. Why not apply the leave in then define with the denman brush? I love that we have the same hair goals! Volume AND definition. No need to sacrifice one for the other.

I cut my hair by my own (it's not as bad as it should be thanks GOD is just a bit uneven lol) but my hair looks more bouncy, curlier and alive so i think it was a good decision BUT I miss my long juicy curls sometimes ngl
Hii! I was wondering do you have any tips on styling short pieces of hair in the front. I have short strands like you in the front but I can never seem to make them look nice. I really want to have curly framing pieces but when I keep it curled, it just ends up looking like a curly mess. Got any tips??
try fingercoiling them? i have those too usually i just finger coil them and they curl pretty nicely!

I didn’t know you were Lebanese. Us Arabs have very similar curl types. It’s a weird middle ground where the products are too thick or too thin.

I was so excited to try these products. I purchased the exact same 2 as video. I did exactly what you did and I DON'T like the results. I thought I used too much product the first time, so I tried again using less. It feels gummy and oily. Definitely not free and flowing. I'm going to get a refund and stick to my usual brand. Horrible experience 😲

Jayme, now you have re-tried an 'old favorite' ... can you remember WHY you have stopped using it back then? :) I just yesterday tried a old favorite of mine (a conditioner) which I hadn't use for over 18 months and it turned out great again :) But back in time I switched ... probably to try something 'better...newer... etc. etc. '

Hi this literally happened to me! My hair was super curly when I was younger, went away and Is back again! In the shower I shampoo, condition, brush out with conditioner still in and rinse with cold water. Then I apply my curl hold products, scrunch a little and plop my hair while it’s still wet! I then take it out and leave to air dry :)
