Me too I had to rewatch it again just to see how they died if I'm right the one with goggles looks like he got shot in the head and the other stabbed in the heart or arm
@@OthoPo A fragment from the start of the first explosion shot through his head/goggles and killed him instantly (the debris falling later), and Mylo was impaled to the wall through his shoulder before the falling debris killed them. Their ghosts seem to show their last moments, Mylo crying out in pain, possibly looking up to the debris, and Claggor's face blank because it was instant for him; he was dead before he ever knew what was happening.
That is the reason I found him and liked him. Using Iron as the song for the trailer was the best thing that happened in Woodkid's musical fans as well as the AC's fan group. That how they got me! Greatest decision both AC and Woodkid could make, hands down.
Now imagine one night Powder asked Silco to sing a lullaby. Silco isn't keen on singing for some kid but she insists and his heart melts a little and he sings the closest thing he knows, and it's this. Retconning this song could symbolize everything Silco is trying to hold onto and every thing Jinx is trying to let go of in this scene.
Arcane is a sad show. So most of the songs will tend to match. Most sad songs will subtly mimic the sound and tone of crying. But this show isn't the type of sad to make someone cry. So these songs don't just cry. They straight up wail. That is the best way i can describe this song. It WAILS.
Imagine having your song on one of the most cinematic and tragic scenes in film and animation history. It must be such an honor. And the orchestra with his silky smooth voice and the swelling of the music and the pure sadness but yet catharsis with this song is just astonishing.
I would actually hate it, if I wrote a song that was actually pretty good but the only thing people remembered it from was that one scene that would suck.
@DefensiveAndOffensive because if I wrote the song I would want it to be good enough to stand on its own and not be overshadowed by the show / scene. When you hear a song and can't disassociate it from the work it was used in it feels like your work undervalued.
This might be a bit out there as an analysis, but: the line "go play with your blocks" makes me think of the puzzle that Mel gave another councillor. The governing body of Piltover has taken their positions for granted and use them to further their own agendas, it's a game of alliances and under the table deals and this is displayed through childish symbolism to show how they are childishly selfish with their power. And then there's the following line "and now you'll pay when these walls come crumbling down" which is played over the scene of the barricades being set up along the bridges. Their childish behaviour has led to the neglect of Zaun and this line foreshadows the uprising we've seen glimpses of in the trailers.
@@blueisthecolourofourplanet7121 yeah, that’s what I was about to say. It’s funny how the metaphor Silco used to threaten Marcus comes ‘tumbling down’ on him at the end of the episode in this scene, as Silco begins to lose everything.
I love how easily powder turned evil just from someone being their for her (silco). She really just needed someone to tell her it was gonna be ok. She was a child growing up in a shitty world and everything she loved was destroyed by her own hands obviously she wasn't strong enough to really come to terms with it and was taken in with compassion by the wrong person
Honestly a bunch of different people and situations created Jinx. That's what's great about her arc- it wasn't just flipping a switch and she became insane it was gradual and fueled by so many different things.
Mylo Planted the seeds, Vi confirmed those seeds, Silco pushed her farther, she pushed herself farther down that path, then she in the end finished Powder off and fully became Jinx.

(First of all, I'm sorry if I make anyone uncomfortable with this comment, but I just want to share this and see if..anyone...relates?)Imagine this: You hear your parents arguing while passing by. You stop to listen what is going on, but you get scared immediately. Once they start yelling or just sofly arguing, you silently go your room and close the door quietly. You start to get your headphones/airpods/ or your earbuds on and you put on this song. You start to feel better, but once the first chorus comes in, you feel better is gone and you start to think this terrible thought and that thought is your parents getting violent or yelling and crying a lot. Once the song goes, you start to cry and can't stop at this point, but you start to cry more once about 2:40 hits. Once that hits, you start to think about your parents going violent and you all of a sudden start crying more, but trying to cry silently WHILE holding something like a stuffed animal. This is what I'm dealing with right now, but I know the storm will pass soon!
The way the ghosts of Mylo and Claggor appeared behind Powder/Jinx while she fires up the flare Vi gave to her when they were kids. Powder made Jinx fire up that flare hoping that her sister Vi would come back for her.
