Dark and very chilly here in England, so this superb dish would be just ' the ticket ' to try at present ....😊 No wonder Korean Moms have this as one of their favourites 👵🏻 Fantasmagorical !!!! 🍲
@Royce Coco I have also found this out after been into k-pop...I always like to try out foods from other regions..this channel really upgraded my cooking skills..
Oh my I coughed up my coffee at the end when Daniel hacked up the bone 🦴 You made me laugh so hard! A great start to my day! I think I’ll go buy fish 🎣
A few extra tips: They do sell the fileted versions with the bones removed.. but it's not 100% so you do have to be careful while eating and they do tend to crumble more than the bone in varieties so you must be careful when shifting the top and bottom layers. That said, absolutely try this. It's really expensive at restaurants and also restaurants dump so much sugar in the sauce. To get the silver scales off, a coarse sponge will do the job just as fine. Radish is non negotiable. IMO 80% of the sauce taste comes from the radish and I personally like eating the cooked radish more than the fish itself. This recipe can be used with any fatty fish, be it mackerel or saury (even the canned variety) or even catfish
I've been following you for a while, thank you for all the amazing recipes! Unfortunately, it's still around 100 degrees here in California and won't be getting chilly until late December into January. I'll for sure be trying your soup recipes when the chilly weather hits!
You guys are so awesome! I’m 50 year old Korean woman living in Houston Texas in USA. My son who’s attending college has sent me your videos. Since then I have learned a lot from you how to cook Korean food. Thank you for your great videos!🤗
I am currently living in Korea and your videos are so helpful because I can actually find all the ingredients at the local marts with no problem ! :) 감사합니다
In Portugal we also eat lots of fish and when we swallow a bone, we eat bread. It does help 😊 I am assuming you mean sticky rice, with short grain, yes, I believe it would help as well 💪
Oh man I had Galchi Jorim on Jeju Island but I didn't know how to get the bones out :( so I had to make do with the 무 although it was really good too since it had absorbed all the yummy flavour.
Make a next level neighbor video with those downstairs neighbors! That’d be interesting! In reference to the last podcast: if I Can’t get the fish, can I use beef instead? 😂😂😂 Oh, and in reference to the last podcast: I took extra care cleaning my belly button this morning when I showered! 😅
Hello Future Neighbor, I really enjoyed your video...Can you tell me where you got your burner. Is it for indoor use? I always worry about carbon monoxide with propane stoves. If yours is okay to use indoors then I would like to purchase one of those because where I am I can only find the ones for outdoors used for camping. Thank you for putting out quality videos and letting use in to your culture. Be blessed.
those stoves are found in Asian markets, and I've now seen a similar stove and fuel, branded coleman in Walmart. they still use up oxygen, but it's not a problem in a reasonable sized house.
Hi neighbor really really love this recipe its more tasty than i ate in restaurants, can i use the jogi in this recipe?Mother inlaw gave us like 3kgs of jogi waheheeh,
OMG YES!!!!!!! I’ve been wanting this for so long!!! I keep asking my boyfriend if he’s tried this and he’s never had it 😭

I'm happy to be your neighbor, albeit at a great distance 😁 nice video, thank you!
This is so wholesome! I'm really grateful for your contents 💜
Yes, i’m looking forward your version of this dish.
I am currently living in Korea and your videos are so helpful because I can actually find all the ingredients at the local marts with no problem ! :) 감사합니다
If you swallow some bones, don't panic... just swallow a spoonful of rice!
I wouldn't be so sure! ua-cam.com/video/W9AqI_uhttk/v-deo.html

I'm so glad I decided to try galchi jorim in Jeju right before covid hit. I loved the combination of the fish and radish!
Another good reason to visit 제주도! Katie you use chopsticks with surgeon precision, I'm amazed.
Waw... actually im searching this recepie and u upload now. Thankyuuuu
Beautiful!!! Have been busy lately so lat for this one
Yummy! But funny my eyes got the attention to your beautiful plant in the background😍
Chilly? Nope. The high today in Phoenix, Arizona was 100°. Tomorrow only 94°, though.
Yup. In CA, it is gonna be 100 today. Fall in California just means hot and windy.
Yesss I've been practicing my chopstick skills for this
I loathe boney fish, but I'd love to try this with basa or hoki fillets. I still need to source radish. All I can find is pickled radish... TFS!!!
Oh man I had Galchi Jorim on Jeju Island but I didn't know how to get the bones out :( so I had to make do with the 무 although it was really good too since it had absorbed all the yummy flavour.
Your neighbors might be another set of UA-camrs.
I think y'all should collab.
Cause your kitchens look similar.
it would be hilarious if their neighbors were Aaron and Claire 😹 they are both so good
Doug Kennedy agreed they are both good. And that's exactly who I was thinking might be their neighbors. I had to look at the kitchen windows
now that looked yummy. thanks mucho
Minnesota here ~
Great Video! This is a favorite in our house too :)
IM SEARCHING FOR THIS

Oh, and in reference to the last podcast: I took extra care cleaning my belly button this morning when I showered! 😅
Lol! On the belly button hahahah
Can I use a different type of fish for this? I heard you mention salmon at the early part of the video... just making sure. :D
Omg that look great 🤤🤤😁
Maybe you inspire your neighbors what to cook 😄
Can’t find this fish over here in the UK, any suggestions for an alternative?
Sorry i forgot to ask if i were to use homemade soup soy sauce, would i need the same amount as your store bought? Thank you
yo but put that garlic press on gochujar, looks like it works sooo much better than mine.
This looks so good. O m g

omg... fishiness is the best part!!! Keep that stuff in!!! >:-O
Amazing! I’m wondering if this style of sauce and braising would be good with milkfish??
Hi neighbor really really love this recipe its more tasty than i ate in restaurants, can i use the jogi in this recipe?Mother inlaw gave us like 3kgs of jogi waheheeh,
We don't get hairtail in Spain, but I bet this sauce would be excellent on any firm white fish. I'll try it and let you know!
Member that sundubu paste video 3 years ago? I added water and a little peanut butter in it and made some tan tan men
Yum
Hey, don't criticize your neighbors for cooking the same food you cooked. Maybe they just watch your channel like we do! x D
I can't get that fish in NH US is there another fish that might work.
Could you make this with another type of fish or meat? My husband is not much of a fish eater unless it has no bones or little fish taste
can u guys be my parents :) i would love to eat such food all day every day
I would like to try this dish but we dont have this tayb of fish and radish in my country 😭
she is so beautiful!
oh this is the tie..
Maybe your neighbors below you watch your video recipes and that's why they always end up making the same thing as you guys the next day!
Man... I’d probably just use sand paper on the 비린내. I’m also pathologically lazy
I won't be having any problem with the bones cos we eat with our hands so yeah =P
Yeah. I would like to know what's wrong with people who copy what you cook, the next day! Wtf?? My neighbor does the same! O
UK🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
mu in korean, muli in hindi, mula in bangla..
Daikon in Japanese...
Picking out the fish bone with chopsticks is EXTREMELY PAINFUL.
Like i am not even joking....
Daniel, I don’t eat fish, can I make this with a beef steak 🥩 ?
🤣
Did you lose weight? You look thinner day by day🤩👍
new haircut?
Its not really korean food if it doesnt have chili flakes, chili paste, sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil in it
You've cracked the code 😜

Hiiii
My least favorite video so far.
