great video! I live in North Seattle and would like to come here so just doing some research. may I ask what month you guys visited ? sorry if I missed you saying it. also is there a way you looked up the tides?
Hi Veronica, thank you watching! We were there in July of 2022. We found the tide schedule at a Visitor Center in Forks, WA but you can also use www.tideschart.com!
Happy travels!
Be kind and share. You will get it shown to you also.
Home. I am so happy to call this beautiful place home.
Love Washington State...Port Angeles & Olympic Park...yes yes
We’re heading to Olympic NP and so cool to see fellow golfers!
I’m hoping to land a promotion there within the next week or so, I’m excited. Coming from a big town in California I’m ready to slow life down and enjoy myself
Great video! Went to ONP this summer and already can’t wait to go back🩵
Nice trip with best info ...
Thank you!
Wonderful video. We’re getting ready to visit this park next week. Your video was very helpful
Thanks for watching and we’re glad it was helpful! Enjoy your trip!
@@WanderLustInRealLife we’re from Colorado. I definitely noticed the hat.
@@83bryanc awesome and good catch. That is Heather’s favorite hat!
Great upload, good to see you greeting from Texas 😊
Thank you for the support! During our epic Grand Adventure and Washington was definitely one of our favorite states!
You’re a lovely couple. Thank you so much for this video! We’ll be travelling to Port Angele this April from Vancouver Island - looking forward to it ♥️
Thank you! Enjoy your time there, we certainly did!!
Hood Canal bridge!
Going next week. Are there any places to eat in Port Angeles OR on the way to Cape Flattery that you might recommend? Thanks for the video. Nicely done. Much appreciated.
Hey thanks for the comment! We don’t have a blog post about this stop but we have an Instagram highlight (Olympic, WA) about things to do close to there. If you open the link on a mobile device you’ll have to search the specific highlight otherwise on a desktop the link should take you directly to the highlight!

Hi, Wanderlust. Wow, I haven't heard of this place while Kayak7seas and I were at Seattle and San Juan Island, WA.
OMG, these waterfalls split in a couple ways. Gorgeous and robust!
How did you do in golf? Oh..no..muddy..4:18 Yes, walking the beach is wonderful.
OMG, you were there at low tide, so I can actually kayak at this sea cave? 6:58
Wow, do I have to walk on the log, too?7:32
Hmmm the wine tasting is tempting. The sunset timelapse is very crafty.
I am curious if there is some unique kayaking place in NZ. Can you see seals>=? Sea lions in wild? Volcanoes?
Thank you very much.
Thank you for watching! We just played a fun round of golf but the views were amazing! Low tide is the only way to hike to Hole in the wall and I’m not sure about kayaking there.
We are going to port Angeles this weekend!!! So excited to check these places out. Question though…what route did you take from anacortes to port Angeles because I didn’t find any ferries going that way except for the one in Coupeville..
Hey thank you for your comment and happy to see you enjoyed our video! We were pulling an RV and decided to drive the entire way so we took a longer route down and around through Tacoma and up through Hood Canal Floating Bridge! Highly recommend if you have the time!
Thank you for your video! Does it rain a lot in June and July? Also what's the best way to get to Port Angeles from Seattle? Thanks in advance for your response!
Hi thank you for your comment! In general, we would say to always be prepared for rain when visiting Washington. June and July are not known to be the rainiest months but again, always be prepared.
To get to Port Angeles, you can either take a ferry or drive down to Tacoma and up along the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, which is what we did. If you have the time, highly recommend the drive through Tacoma!
Loved your video but totally off topic - would you mind sharing your thoughts on the dog carrier showed at the beginning of this video and also the brand?
Hey Paulani, thank you for the comment. The backpack is called K9 sport sack. It’s worked great for us over the past few years.
What month you went there to Olympic national? And just for a day activity how much the entrance fee or if there’s any additional fee when you go hike in this park?
Hi and thanks for your comment. We were there in July of 2022. As for the cost, I believe it’s around $30 per vehicle for a day pass. But if you plan to see at least 3 parks in the same year, it’s better to get an annual pass. Those are around $80.
the entrance fee is $30 and valid for 7 days
In the beginning of the video you showed walking through the Hoh Rainforest then a waterfall, but that waterfall is in the Sol Duc area, nowhere near the Hoh Rainforest.
Thanks for watching and commenting, that really helps us out so we appreciate it! Although the driving distance between the two areas is almost 2 hours they are actually very close geographically.
:)
What month did y’all go?
Okay I see July lol
4:00 2 stroke penalty for teeing up in front of the tee markers???
😂 good catch! Good thing we weren’t playing for money or in a tournament! Thanks for watching.
What time of year?
We were there in July of 2022!
Did you find any AGATES.
We did not unfortunately!
I know this video came out two months ago ....I know people like coming to Olympic peninsula ...but us old timers are getting tired of the soooooooo many
Thanks for finding our video. We enjoyed exploring the PNW and we also explored a few other states as well on our Grand Adventure. Hope you’ll check those out as well!
Yep the entire world is overcrowded. It is not just your area. It is everywhere.
@@IIrandhandleIInot really it's just pockets of areas fueled my social media hype.
@@escape_from_consent_city yes these places get visited more than others but look at the global population. Extinctions deforestation trash and plastics....I grew up and live in a city that has grown rapidly beyond its capacity as well.
@@IIrandhandleII not worried about it. Humans will die long before the planet.
lol depressing rainy overrated place
Horrible video, no information about anything. What time of day did you get to places, are the hike difficult or easy? I see you had rain clothing so I assume I need rain gear? How long should it take someone to see everything? And you speak, stop turning away from the camera because when you do that we can't hear what you are saying. Everyone else who has commented is asking questions too.
Sorry you feel it was horrible and got no value out of it. We were (and still are) learning. Most places visited were from 8am - 2pm except for the food/drink which was in the evening. The hikes are all moderate to easy and to see everything we did we'd say give yourself at least 2 full days. It's recommended to always carry rain gear with you while in the Pacific North West. As you can see, everyone who has responded asking a question has received a response, so thank you for your questions.
