@@LetsPlayAllthanks for letting me know, man. after running many tests I realized I only get the ticking noise when it’s connected in stereo, in mono it’s super clean but it’s frustrating because it sounds so much better in stereo. I see you have it in mono here.
@@LetsPlayAll It wasn’t a put down I was just noticing the flange is barely noticeable compared to the Van Halen song😎 I want to but the Astra I already own the Starlight and Golden and I was hoping it had as much balls as the mxr Also the Astra is on sale for about $300 right now so I’m checking out demo vids
I thought that until I played one 😊 A decent CE1 reproduction tends to be north of £150 and this one is as good as any I’ve played. Given you also get very good other effects: flanger, doubler, tremolo, 2 phaser flavours, harmonic trem (which has a decent Univibe tone too!) it’s a lot of bang for buck, given the quality. I’d have liked more presets for live use but I mainly play at home now so not a huge concern personally. So it’s not inexpensive and won’t fit everyone’s budget, but I think of it like £40 per effect 😊🤘

My astra introduces ticking noise in front of an overdriven amp. are you puttimg it in front of the amp here?
Yup in front of that amp, haven’t had that issue personally

Hi may I ask what is order of your pedals? Are you running the dirt before astra or after astra?
Sure the Astra is last in the chain into the front of my amp (not using the fx loop in my amp) so after all the dirt pedals 😊🤘

@@LetsPlayAllso the amp is clean and you get the dirt from the pedals , right?
@@gonebymidnight2881 amp is always set just on the edge of breakup so not ultra clean but yup pedals providing the gain
