I was just so thrilled to see you had a new video up. Ever have one of those days….thank you for brightening mine. I’m a quilter who is coming back to cross stitch after about a 30 year hiatus and I’m having so much fun. I went to the big quilt show in Augusta with my sister a few years ago. We went to Camp Wool when on that adventure. So nice to hear that it is still there. I’m jealous of your dump and I wish we had one.😅
Wow such delicate hands to do such a tiny piece in a frame well worked out. Love seeing your findings so interesting ❤😊 crushed walnut shell never would have guessed that 😮
You are In your in your special place, never need, never needs cleaning. Maybe rearranging. , never need cleaning, just Holy places should never be disturbed!!!
I love the owl. It pops on the dark background. The strawberries were one of the first things my Grandmother taught me to make. We filled baskets for gifts. They were pin cushions filled with emery and decorations filled with poly. We sometimes scented them with strawberry oils. She would crochet a chain, tie into a bow & hang them on her kitchen cabinets. The aroma was wonderful. Wonderful memory.
Your finds are awesome! You have more at your dump and thrift store than we have in our stores! Your talents are just amazing! Awesome video as always!
I was getting ready to go to bed at 1 am this morning when your new video popped up on my screen so of course I had to watch it before I went to bed. I knew I was going to have to come back to write my comments. I wanted to tell you I believe that the glass candle holder you were showing and contemplating putting the frog in is Princess House crystal. which was a "Home Party Plan" (I used to sell it also for extra money. We sold lots of crystal and lead crystal. ) I also want to "thank you" for showing the "Book" again . I have been wanting to get it but just hadn't bought it so I caved in when I saw your white owl so Thank You again. (My pocket book, of course, does not thank you..)
The frame is CUTE! Love the towels, too. I love cute towels. Sounds like you have a fabulous weekend and SO many good finds! :-) Yes! You are full of SO many good ideas. Have a great week!
Love all your finds from thrifting, I join you in spirit- I went today and found glass beads and some buttons in a bag for 3.00 bucks- yes please. Also found a loom spool or shuttle- pointy on both ends with some brass guides in it, that came with me and a broken bracelet with all christmasy colored glass beads, perfect for counting pins or zipper pulls or something. I even found a blouse for 2 bucks. Great day of treasure procurement. Sounds like Stewart is trying to be a good boy…..🎄🎄. Happy stitching 🪡🪡.
Thanks for the shoutout, Sarah, we decided the day with you was the best day of our awesome trip. The Uncle Sam was a kit from Bent Creek. Lots of fun to stitch for you. {just readers was used}
Oh, i feel like such a rock star!! Lol. Thank you for showing my cross stitch on your video. I am a 69 year old grandma, living in central Illinois with no stitching friends, so i stitch in the evenings and meet up with my stitch "group" on Flosstube. I told my husband that now that I am a television personality, I was to be treated with a little more respect...😅 Oh, I loved the rest of your video, too. Hahaha
Hi Sarah, that little pill box that you showed, I have patterns that fit the lid that were designed specifically for those, they might be hard to find now, the company that did the designs is called “Framecraft” and pot itself is also by them under Framecraft Miniatures, your pot in my collection has a rose design on it, looks like they used #22 fabric, hope this info helps.
Love the finish on the Owl, I plan on making strawberries too, but might benext year and olan on doing seasonal ones for a bowl display with the mini lights. Whoa is be, new projects! Glad you are getting comfortable with sewing machines, now you need a serger! Lol. Be safe in your travels. Hugs.
If that gravy boat you found is a Pfaltzgraff brand…the P is silent; it’s pronounced “faults-graph”. Great find and I love that Christmas centerpiece you made.
Thanks for sharing my “found” stitch! A little more info…it doesn’t look stamped from what I can tell. Also, the info written on the selvage looks hand scribed. It’s quite the mystery.
Your tree outside the craft room is so beautiful! I’m a wee bit jealous. In the high 80’s in TX. 🤨 The Satsuma Halloween ornaments turned out really cute! I may have to do those in the future. 😁 I went to a Tupperware party eons ago and got that orange box. I use it to store sewing stuff. Great tips for so many finishes from frames and beyond. The antique sampler behind an old photo made my 👀 pop out. What a great find for your friend! That mini stein is adorable. I want to stitch several designs from Max Pigeon too! The 🦊 is a must. Happy Trails
@@CrossStitcherTX it got to be 75 here today 🥵Not a fan. Back in a Tshirt and waiting to pull out sweaters. The Satsumas are fun stitches and I can’t wait to do more. Fortunately I have a sister who loves Halloween and she bought me the collection for Christmas!🤗. Some of the trees are slow to turn but told we are past peak. I still find the beauty in the change. Glad you enjoyed my found treasures ❤️ Just prepped a fabric for another Max Pigeon 😆So many great charts in that book🤓
Great content, as usual. Uncle Sam was born in Arlington, MA. Sam Wilson. Meant to mention on last week's episode, as you said you didn't remember where you got a pattern. I think you might have mentioned before that you got your Cape Cod girls ain't got not combs from your friend, Spools. When you visited her, you showed her stitched and it was a pattern she stitched. That phrase comes from a sea shanty.
I would make a nice big Stitching Tray, scissors in the middle or an ORT collector, and all your stitching tools. I have a wooden square tray with a 2" lip, I lined it with fabric & batting , added a trim and it holds all my supplies, they don't fall to the floor now and within reach. You can make a cover for it, or maybe a Charger size plate will do, tokeep Stuart out of it when not in use.
I just glue the felt. I’ll have to make some more in order to do a tutorial ❤I think I have some around here somewhere 😂7 more kits of just Satsuma to do😮
Living by the clock so it took me three sit downs to complete your video. Never a dull moment...love IT.

Ha! I’ve thought of that! Want to make oodles of cloth napkins and not sure if it’s possible without a serger🤔
I think a pin cushion in the center of your chip and dip bowl would be fantastic!
Can’t wait to show what I do to it!❤😊
Thanks for another fun long show. I think the surprise remembrance garden is a vintage stamped pattern. eBay has lots of similar completed.
I saw some but no real info on them😢
