Hi Pat - I think I mention the same type of pin on my FT9 at the end - it is just a felt ball from Cloud Craft in UK with a pin through it to stick in place - so simple and so cheap! Hope it helps!

Sian, I have been so inspired by your embroidery pieces I have just bought my first Nicki Franklin - the ranunculus wreath and am going to give it a go. Have always loved embroidery but have never really known what to do with finished pieces - there are only so many tablecloths, napkins and handkerchiefs you can embroider but seeing Nicki's beautiful creations, I can now imagine them framed and on my wall. So, thank you. You are such an inspiration.
That Quaker Christmas II one - that would be gorgeous backed on some fabric with some light batting between, and done on a tapestry rod. Not as expensive as framing, but you still have a lovely Christmas wall-hanging to bring out every year!

I would finish the edges, somehow, sew a fabric sleeve to the top to put in a dowel, and hand it up in my home! Oh my goodness the tiny stockings - total swoon! Love the pumpkin blocks! Lovely video. For your Christmas Quaker II, you could hem stitch the edge. Then bring it out at Christmas and display it without framing it. It is too beautiful to be in a box unfinished. Merry Christmas.

You taped your floss tube on my birthday!! I turned 65 on December 12th!! Being a physician/resident is a real test as the hours, responsibility are gruelling. My oldest son is a physician.
