Is this Old Allis Chalmers JUNK? And will the First Gen Cummins pull it?

- Today we take the first gen Cummins to pick up its first load, an old Allis Chalmers WD45 tractor that is in rough shape! We first do some work to the Cummins to get it ready for the trip and then see if the classic Allis Chalmers will run after several years abandoned.

i am absolutely f**kin' happy to see the Cummins used as a daily now. I just love her
Appreciate it!
I don't care what anyone says about those ol' first gens, I think they're some of the best looking and best sounding trucks on the road!!
Agreed!
You are so correct!
@@peachyclean93 Ohhhhh yurrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!! #cumminslife
@@12VALVEC_MMINSTURBODIESEL yes sir
I love how old tracker that have been sitting for years, pretty much falling apart and they still manage to start right up just by fixing a few things
Yep! I did not have much confidence in this thing lol
Nice see the truck working for it’s diesel again
Sure is
I love this first gen its mint love the interior just dont make them like that no more
For sure. Very cool truck. Glad you like it
Not me just watching for the tractor 😂 I love Allis chalmers
I do too!
man that truck sounds so goooddd going down the road!! MAN!
I love it!
Yesterdays Tractor Parts is another good place for tractor parts as well. And they have a discussion forum if you have questions about repairs. I would also suggest getting a service manual for it. They are available through many tractor parts stores. Good luck with your project 👍
Thanks for the info!
@@RealSteelFabrications Could maybe download a manual for it also.
The wheel liners, probably what was on it new, perfect for the vintage
Hey it's good to get a new video from you and I'll be glad to see another one when you get the old crusty tractor running. I was a little...ok quite a lot disappointed that you didn't do your usual antics in this one, dang it, but there is one thing you said on here. You're an amusing man for sure.
Ya, not as much personality in this video. Will make it up to you in the next one! I bought a odd lil truck!
@@RealSteelFabrications Thanks man! I'll be looking forward to it.
That valve and settling bowl should be easy enough to find. Allis is still in business as AGCO so there may even be parts availability at the dealership if you run into something hard to find.
Awesome! Thanks for the info, I will order one.
The part under the gas is a sediment bowl it acts as a fuel filter in a sense and traps gunk in the glass bowl
Thanks for the info!
Looks like they had calcium chloride in the tires looking at that rusted rim. That thing on the spark plug is called a non fouler. Old school stuff. 😂
Never seen it before. Wheels are very rough! Trying to find some
Greetings from Thunderbay Canada. As a owner of the 4th gen 2500 Cummins I dont compare lol..
Good call to get that carburetor off there to clean it out, that gummy stuff's not good at all, might have to rebuild it if the needle and seat are bad, especially if the float has a pin hole in it, shouldn't be too hard to find a rebuild kit, hopefully all it needs is a good cleaning, that starter sure is tired, that gummy spark plug was pretty bad, good luck getting it running, can't wait to see it drive haha, that wheel is junk unfortunately, you might be able to find another one though, fingers crossed!
Hope I can find a wheel, if not, not for sure what I’ll do with it
@@RealSteelFabricationsMay just have to ask around on forums and you might find someone that has a wheel they can sell you, if there's a will, there's a way. :)
Nice find, and you get to put the truck to work.
You got that right!
Those glass fuel bowls are still available.
Good to know
Cmonnnnn we knew the answer to the second question
Never know lol
your dad is a wiz--learn as much as you can from him. Is that Olds a diesel by chance? that could be an interesting video series.
Ya idk when our luck is going to run out on these will it runs lol. Olds is a gas 350. I did buy a very rare diesel…it’s going to be a challenge! As always, appreciate your continued support! Think you’ll like this next diesel…80’s, goofy, 40mpg….
Привет из города Домодедово. Удачи вам с вашими проектами.
Thanks!
Nice. My grandma has a 1946 Allis Chalmers SC which I’m working on. She’s making it sound like she’s gonna give it to me, she hates it because her ex is the one that drained the oil out of it to be mean and they have a new International anyways.
Cool, hope you get it!
Cool! Hope you get it
Отличное приобретение!
Appreciate it!
Bro i love these guys so much
Appreciate it
It a Allis Chalmers WD I have one just like it use Steiner tractor parts they have everything
Is a WD different than a WD45?
Yes a wd is 35 hp and the wd45 is 45hp you can tell by looking on the coil side of the block and If you see bolts around the edges like a sheet of steel that looks bolted on it’s a WD if it’s strait cast no bolts it’s a WD 45 also know as the power crater
@@Quinnsmallengine so mine is just a WD?
I would probably say but let me look back at the video most WDs are narrow front I have not ever seen a narrow front 45
It’s hard to tell in the video but I think it’s a WD I am only 16 and my WD was my first tractor bought it for 100$
i love this first gen man i would be intrested in buying if u had a price been here since day 1 of the builld man
Appreciate it! Not for sale currently…
How much is the Cummins Worth?
Really don’t know
Depends on if you can find the original build/bill of sale sheets -- pretty sure that one was a PRCA grand prize that year, but I don't know if it was NFR or PBR. Either way, in some markets it's a genuine collectors' item. @@RealSteelFabrications
Мужики, этот Додж классный!
Раньше делали настоящии машины!
P.s.Привет из солнечного Санкт-Петербурга (Россия)! 🤝🇷🇺
Appreciate it! A great built truck. Russia, Wow! Glad to have you, cheers!
Id take that truck new over any truck made today.
Same
1:27 What's the name of that white truck? I like it because it's the style I wanted
It’s a 1993 Dodge Ram350 5.9 Cummins that has been outfitted out by the company Federal to have a custom sleep build onto it.
Ever plan on doing anything with the Oldsmobile?
Would like to someday!
Ill tint that thing up
Needs it
Only problem I see with that truck……. Manual transmission, something my knees don’t like anymore!!
Better than a auto for pulling
Manual all the way
@@braidenneigg2189 Blessings to your knees sir !!!
why is your dad always driving
It’s his truck
