At least the ending of Chrono Crusade's manga is way more satisfying than the anime. Of course, Aion is dead for good in the manga chapters. So please read it.
Naruto vs Sasuke final battle (even though Sasuke admit he lost, the fact they both was laid physically on the ground with 1 arm is somewhat of a tie lol)
These anime villains have been genuinely thought out and made complex by the creators themselves. They help elevate the narrative to a whole different level.
For that matter, all anime versions of Berserk, including the anime movies for the Golden Age arc, all end in the villain still in power and pretty much victorious. Griffith only wanted his own kingdom and to become a powerful king.
Wanna know a crazy fact? The major never wanted to win. He wanted a war. The bloodiest and most brutal war ever seen. Killing Alucard was the cherry on top of his bloody soaked cake. The guy was thinking fifty steps ahead while everyone was only thinking two or three. He sacrificed millions maybe even billions of people. Including his own soldiers. Victory never mattered to him. What he wanted was death.
Beerus isn't really a villain. He was only looking for someone strong to fight. In the Goku Black arc, he kills the Zamasu of the prime timeline before he (Zamasu) is able to use the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Goku and subsequently kill him. In the alternate future timeline (that is, Trunks' timeline), that's exactly what Zamasu does.
If you are looking at the whole narrative yes he's not a villain but AT THAT TIME when the movie came out he's definitely one and used to ascend the protagonists into the next level
Not really really an anime, but my top 1 show where the villain wins is Wakfu. Nox is such a well design villain that you just wants him to win at all costs, he does, although its still punished by it in a poetic way.
I was hoping Death Note would be on this list with Light killing L. My personal favorite. I don't normally enjoy it when the villain wins, but it's a guilty pleasure of mine to enjoy that part.
I thought it would be here as well. Then they had to release 12 more episodes worth of content with L's successors. Even though Light became corrupt with power and a god complex, I don't completely disagree with him trying to kill off the worst human beings out there. It's when he started killing off those who suspected him in order to cover his tracks that I couldn't root for him any longer.
Where's Pucci? Even though he died, he still annihilated the stone ocean team... And remade the universe, even if he had complications along the way, that was a very big win I'd say

I feel like monoko the massacerer deservers a mention technically her only plan was to humiliate and kill her friends and she succeeded this plan in like every episode
This one is a bit complicated but I would definitely give a mention to Blackbeard from One Piece. He was not only able to get the Devil Fruit he wanted, he was able to infiltrate the Marines by become a Warlord after defeating Ace, storm into Impel Down and freed infamous pirates there, raids Marineford and was able to take down Whitebeard with his crew, stole Whitebeard's Devil Fruit powers, defeated Marco and the remaining Whitebeard pirates in an off-screen war, and took over Whitebeard's territories to become the new Yonko. @@bahesb2419 That's why I said he was the biggest winner of the "pre-timeskip arc". Becoming Pirate King is now is goal for post timeskip as all of his plans were set in place for it in the first half of the series
While I may never go as far as to say these shows had the perfect endings, I will admit that given some of the directions they were going in, they were the most sensible conclusions. I did end up swearing off against anymore Gundam anime though.
In Code Geass, technically the villain wins. Lelouch makes himself the enemy of the entire world on purpose and then orchestrates his own death by "Zero" in order to unite everyone.
And for the record, he DIDN'T win. Alucard came back later and his "war" was seen later as nothing more than a terrorist attack, or as Intergra said, an exchange of bullets

What he does have is charisma. A will to do what needs to be done. And a brilliant and brutal strategic mind the likes of which nobody has seen. He wanted a war. And he got one.
As I have mentioned on occasion over the years, he also won in that he outright defeated Alucard completely, leaving him in a state where he can never take another soul again without suffering the dissolution once more. Oh, and since the Major never did drink blood, he stayed human in his own definition, defeating Alucard in that fashion as well! He assuredly died, but he won... and he was satisfied with the entire business.

The sheer delight on his face when Seras flexed and pulled one of the battleship's main cannon to use instead is simply not to be missed.
You're not kidding about the Major. I've said this for other observations of that dude, he managed to not only completely defeat Alucard (to even exist, Alucard had to rip out all his consumed souls and cannot ever consume another) but did so as what he considered to be a human being: Not one drop of blood from a living being ever passed his lips despite Alucard turning him. He had himself maintained and gradually replaced piecemeal to become the Clockwork Lord that sparked the warfare.
I love the Zamasu storyline. HOWEVER, I was so annoyed at Zeno - the little twerp has infinite power, and instead of reversing the damage Zamasu had done, he erases the entire reality.

How Death Note isn’t on here baffles me. During the first main story line, the villain definitely wins. Yes, during the final episode Light loses, but there were other anime on this list that included arcs that weren’t the finales.
Surprised to see no Code Geass or Overlord on this list. Those anime are literally Villain Protagonist Wins the shows. Though I understand Overlord a bit more I guess as most of his wins are more for comedy because he's bored than anything else.
Great suggestion. One name for the list. Naraku. This guy has lied, killed and used so many people. Making loved ones fight again and again. (He's the main villain from Inuyasha if you haven't seen it.)
Well... In Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Trigger they had two ending that got thrown out for leaning too far in one direction. One was an ending where David gets taken alive by Arasaka rather than getting killed by Smasher, and they turn him into a weapon. This got thrown out for being too bleak. The other was where Lucy is pregnant with David’s child on the moon. This was thrown out for being too hopeful.
Very strange videos. Golden Ball,Cyberpunk:Edgerunner,Persona 4,Yu Yu Hakasho,Devilman:Crybaby,Berserk really nuts. Mobilel Suit very strange. Reacting to videos
Wrong! Beerus wasn't a villain in DBZ battle of gods movie. There was just a misunderstanding during Beerus issues with Majin Buu. Lead to Beerus conflict with Goku and the other Z fighters.

Forget the anime and stick with the manga please.
@@heroboygamebase2286At least Aion is dead for good in the manga. Thank you for the good news.
You helped that laid-back psychopath in persona 4 that’s kind of messed up of me I mean him I mean whatever ….. toby honest it’s honestly kind of confusing since one of the characters is named you so that means it could pretty much mean anyone lol
How Death Note isn’t on here baffles me. During the first main story line, the villain definitely wins.
Yes, during the final episode Light loses, but there were other anime on this list that included arcs that weren’t the finales.
I think All For One from My Hero Academia is already the winner🏅 since season 2!
What do you mean by that? What about season 6?
No Overlord or Saga of Tanya the evil? Bunk list
How about the top 20 short anime shows
Top 10 Moments In Anime when the dub was better then sub
Death Note should of been a contender if you know, the anime ended at episode 25, the last good episode
Hm, how very interesting, I guess it can be a matter of perspective sometimes.
I think Garou watched all of this 😂
As Roy said the table has Turn Griffith.
Surprised to see no Code Geass or Overlord on this list. Those anime are literally Villain Protagonist Wins the shows. Though I understand Overlord a bit more I guess as most of his wins are more for comedy because he's bored than anything else.
You forgot Jormungand. Koko is no hero or anti-hero, she's a Bond villian. Deranged and dangerous.
Do these villains win so that the good guys defeat them in the sequel movie?
THANK YOU, bless WatchMojo for calling out IBO and how goddamn annoying Julieta is too.
Mika should've won.
The series' epilogue was a disappointment.
Top 10 Anime Characters That Are Pure Evil Incarnate.
Great suggestion. One name for the list. Naraku. This guy has lied, killed and used so many people. Making loved ones fight again and again. (He's the main villain from Inuyasha if you haven't seen it.)
Delphine from Last Exile was a real piece of work.
No one ever remembers Wolfs Rain it's always been my favorite
I could mention a few more but I can't really do that without majorly spoiling them so I'll refrain.
Let's gave him a Jamaican snack for that.
"Oh yh, and he got nuked by God"🤣🤣🤣🤣
I know we gotta mention DIO when talking about Jojo, but PUCCI LITTERALLY KILLED THE MAIN CHARACTER
I hate the fact the hero always win against the villain
It's all about entertainment.
Hate it when the Bad guys win
Yes, but that's reality. Whether we like it or not, there really can be days when villains do win. That is what anime is trying to show and tell us.
Can’t always have a happy ending every time
@@mysticboar1237 True.
We all agree, David deserved it for not picking Rebecca
Really? 😲
Very strange videos. Golden Ball,Cyberpunk:Edgerunner,Persona 4,Yu Yu Hakasho,Devilman:Crybaby,Berserk really nuts. Mobilel Suit very strange. Reacting to videos
I think One Piece should be on this list.
Cuz technically the Marines achieved their goal on Marineford
you forgot One Piece Marineford arc where the bad guys win
Wrong! Beerus wasn't a villain in DBZ battle of gods movie. There was just a misunderstanding during Beerus issues with Majin Buu. Lead to Beerus conflict with Goku and the other Z fighters.
I'm holding Reiner's head and Gilgamesh too
Beerus from Dragon Ball Super isnt a villain. He's a god of destruction.
Gundam Iron blooded Orphans should be here
The final battle was kinda sad. 😭
