    I straightened my hair everyday for 6 years because I got bullied so much for having thick and curly “ethnic” hair and I stopped straightening it completely 8 or so months ago and it's only just starting to look good again but it's so worth just embracing whatever natural colour and texture your hair is and just prioritsing it's health!! Love you and your videos you've helped me a lot xx

      Well said. I have wavy/curly hair and I used to crimp it to death in my teens with a crimping iron (those tiny waves). It was the only way I could "deal" with it, I thought. It took until my 30s to accept my natural texture. It can be hard if you are a teen out there. But it is *so* worth it embracing your natural texture! Hang in there, Adelina! It will get better the longer it gets and the more it grows out without ever having been heat styled!

      Adelina 》》》I feel you girl!
      I'm naturally curly,thick, dry and big hair.
      I've been thru relaxer and recently Keratin Treatment to have under control my crazy hair.
      I stopped for 1 year the Keratin to see how my hair can handle it, honestly is HARD because my hair gets frizzy/dry very easy.
      Products and money spending is ridiculous.
      I can give the plus that after my hair took the break from those straight chemicals, it grows longer than I ever had.,reason why I'm getting knowledge of how to keep it healthy, full and control frizz.

      Those who make fun for others looks, don't deserve to look nice. it's super mean and rude to ridicule someone for the way they were born. I hope nobody makes fun of you again! plus, I think curly hair is beautiful.

    I spray my hair with filtered water (we have very hard water where I live) before applying an oil to my hair. The oil seals in the water and the residual water will disappear into the atmosphere. When applying oil to dry hair, it just sits on the strands till you shampoo it off :)

    • @rosemary.-6576
      @rosemary.-6576 5 років тому +8

      I'm afraid you'll have to cut off your split ends in order for it to be healthy. :/

    • @LuisaH2022
      @LuisaH2022 5 років тому +8

      My hair was exactly like 95% split ends. Then I spent 3 hours for s&d mission (cut each and every strand with a split end). My hemline is tapered (thin) and fairytale (looks like breakage but if you check out each and every strand you see no splits). Take that 3 hours time one day in your life and you will never regret it. I kept my hair at mid-back (the length between bra strap and waist) then I could grow my hair to longer than tbl (butt length) because yeah no split ends.
      In order words do not confuse uneven hemline with damaged hair. C'mon guys LHC exist since 2002. You should know some things already.

    A cold water rinse doesn't work for me, hence why I don't bother with it. I do have to still add my styling products after washing it, so I need the cuticle to remain open to receive the stylers well.

    I love oils and use a wooden brush, as well. It does help. My hair is naturally curly and fine, and is prone to moisture loss. I am interested in a satin sleep cap to retain moisture as I sleep, as well as protecting my hair from breakage as I sleep. Your hair is really pretty.

      @megalopolis2015 4 роки тому

      @@dontlookatmelarry7241 I got the Slap brand satin cap. It helps tame my mop, actually. The worst things about it is that it wriggles off my head now and then, needs washing at least once a week, and gets small holes in the outer layer even if it's washed in a garment bag. But it's great. It keeps my hair's moisture and style, reduces frizz and tangles, and stays out of my face and armpits all night.

      longhairproblemsxo My hair in uncontrollably frizzy:( and there's literally nothing I could do to fix it. I tried styling it curly but it's still frizzy.... (I'm Sri Lankan)
      My hair stylist said that I need to blow dry it once a week - which is when I wash it- just to calm the frizz down.... Bc apparently just leaving it frizzy would do only harm to it... Any tips to reduce heat damage? I started blow drying last month and so far my hair is doing great, I'm just really scared that it would get damaged eventually and I don't know what to do :/

    How often should I do hair masks and deep conditioners if my hair is wavy and tends to be dry, frizzy, and gets split ends easily?

    • @annawatson3463
      @annawatson3463 6 років тому +4

      First you have to minimize how often you wash your hair and the type of shampoo and conditioner you use. You want to try to only wash your hair 1-2 times a week and use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. I use hair masks everytime before I wash my hair and I leave it on for two hours. I was my hair twice a week so my hair gets 4 hours a week soaking in masks
