my hair tips:
- get a hair cut when you start seeing split ends
- try massaging castor oil/coconut oil onto roots and ends every 2-3 days for oily hair, nightly for dry hair, depends on how your hair feels to you
- no heat
- no hair dye
- only wash when feels oily/dirty, depends on hair type and personal preference
- try dry shampoo in between washes
- silk pillowcase
- use Nexxus/ogx shampoo & conditioner for your specific hair type (try other brands, I just use these two because they are highly rated and cheap)
- use shampoo brush
- only use enough shampoo to cover scalp and let the rest rinse down into the rest of the hair (2 dime size amounts for all hair lengths/types)
- use old t shirt/microfiber towel to dry hair after shower (gentler than regular towels)
- brush from ends to roots, not roots to ends (unnecessary stress on roots)
- gentle hair ties & hairbrush (scrunchies & Wet brush)
- gentle hair styles that don’t pull on scalp
- stay hydrated & eat healthy (omega3s, fatty acids, etc.)- fish oil pill daily if not enough moisture and nutrients in everyday foods- avocados, etc.
- take biotin supplement daily
- try clipping method- clipping up sections of hair along part to create volume while wet
Wow actually these tips are useful.Thank u
I wear a tubi before I go to sleep. It's a great protective hairstyle, It also straightens your hair without using heat.
Taking biotin daily wont have any harm?
A bunch of my hair is dyed;-;
yesss i've done everything right ✨✨
from someone who just cut of all her hip length hair due to a depressive episode and getting a huge matt (put yo hair in a bun or braid and ask a loved one to detangle when you can't get out of bed due to your illness) try zoloft or wellbutrin as well
I hope you're feeling better bby 🖤
Zoloft is the brand of my anti-depressants
I went through this and was also battling addiction at the time, been sober going on 5 years now, but at that time I ended up in the hospital and begged the nurses to shave my head, they wouldn’t lol but I was so sick and I t hurt too much to brush it out. I ended up going into a coma for a few days and when I woke up they had detangled my hair for me, bless them. I then had it cut to my shoulders until I recovered. Been growing it since! My heart goes out to anyone who’s had their hair do this because I so get it and your comment is it. Ask for help, don’t hide ❤️
I'm on both of those medications
@@kaylaelliott9436 Jesus Christ is my everything. I don't take any prescription drugs and I'm 61. Trust Him. ❤
My mom applies oil on my hair....its really convenient when someone else does it for you as they are able to see your head better specially the back of your head.
Hair tips :
-No heat .
Very similar to holistic habits suggestions! I'm so glad to see consistency in recommendations from people with long healthy hair!
You are so incredibly helpful! Thank you for many of these tips and product suggestions. I've kind of just lazily been growing my hair out but now that it's really long, I realise if I want to keep it I have to start taking more care :)
Omg thank you so much for posting this! love you, keep it up! ♥️
I appreciate all of your help in achieving my hair length goals!! :)
🖤🖤🖤
I love Calia shampoo and conditioner. Thanks so much for the video ❤️ very helpful and a great reminder!
Thanks for all this information! Very helpful. Your hair is healthy and beautiful! 💛
Great hair growth and maintenance tips! Your videos are always so educational and inspiring. Would love to see a video on what you include in your diet for healthy hair. I feel like diet is probably one of the most important factors in hair growth and health 😊
Tiffany Hoffman it’s super important! I want to do a whole video dedicated to diet but I want to get my facts straight first 😂 thank you so much!
I figured you were like the typical girl wanting long hair, now I see your shirt and I get it lmao 🖤
What about her shirt?
@@Kishaeva it’s a band, it was a joke that she’s a metal head so that’s why she has long hair
What's the name on the shirt say
Hi, I LOVE all your videos. Just wanted to say that your new hair looks AMAZING on you❤️
Thank you for helpful tips best vid I’ve seen on hair so far☺️
Love the braid at night tip. I have shorter/medium length hair so I do two side braids. Once my hair is long enough I will do one braid. If I don't do my braids at night I severely regret it in the morning as I am a frizzy mess so I am sure this helps protect my hair a ton. And I swear my hair grows faster when I braid consistently at night. Love all your tips!!! Thank you!
Ashley S thank you so much! If I don’t braid mine before bed I can’t even think about brushing it the next day 🤦🏻♀️😂
Question: the braiding helps protect the hair at night yes, but when I take it out in the morning it’s super curly from the braid? How do you get it to straighten out again
@@sophienicole333 you could try doing a looser braid, this will protect it but the curls won't be so strong when you take it out and brush through it. Other than that just have to embrace the pretty wave you get from it or try doing a bun
@@sophienicole333 try a loose rope braid, there are tutorials on UA-cam that show how to make it hold
Nice video ...... Make a video of mixing right oils together, absorbing oils and coating oils , this will be helpful too
You are an amazing person and love how you get into details and explain things in detail for us and I love the fact that you always find time to help us out 😊. As a guy with curly hair it was getting tough for me to figure a routine out and you helped me out pretty well on insta ❤️ thank you 😊 looking forward for your bf's haircare routine 😁
Thank you so much!
Anna, as always great tips for keeping healthy, long hair. Silicone and sulfate free has made a huge difference for my scalp and hair. The sulfate dried out my scalp and hair. And the silicone in curl sculpt made my hair greasy, weighed and flat. I can go every three days without a wash easily. When my hair gets longer, I will buy Argan oil for the lower half. Yes, protective braid at night, with a satin pillowcase really provides healthy hair and a stress free sleep. Also wood brush, and hair towel by aquis from Amazon has helped protect hair. I am finally learning from all you young gals!! I love it!! Also eating many more fresh vegetables, with quiona, high in fiber and protein. Everything is working together for a better life and better scalp and hair. Also, thanks for the tip on shipping split ends. That will be a huge help later on. Lastly, your hair looks beautiful as your are making the commitment. Way to go!! Keep it up and beauty treatment can be fun, in our free time!!! Thank you so much!! Prayers and Blessings.
Thank you that was a really helpful overview. All the best to you!
I just want to say I'm grateful that you exist💋❤
I love this can you tell us more about your diet also like do you drink a lot of water, etc, thanks for the videos :)
I’ve been following the chocolate mask and the banana mask and I find that they both make my hair soo soft and shiny so thank you for that 😁. I’ve also been using a wooden brush which has really helped with my frizzy hair. On a previous comment I made I said my hair was at my waist now its below my butt😅
Ive found that the shampoo and conditioner that work for me are:
-OGX green tea fitness shampoo
And
-Love, Beauty and Planet Conditioner in the rose scent
This was just kind of an update but thanks so much for the advice it really helps😄💜💜
wow updates like these make me so happy! Thank you so much, I'm so glad you're finding things that work for you!!
Yesss a longhair twin thanks for this freeennnn
“Search and destroy” I see someone’s been hanging out on the Long Hair Community Forums. Love that place!! ;D

came for the hair tips, impressed by the long sleeve \m/
🤘🏼
My hair is to the back of my knees and I'm always looking for good ways to keep it healthy and hydrated.. Thanks so much..
OH MY
That Behemoth shirt 🖤🤘🏻
Girl of culture
I love the braiding at night method. I swear if I don't braid my hair at night it gets soooo tangled and so gross. I love it so much
First, subscribed recently and admiring your looks! #KeepItUp
Thanks for tips and video. I will try the products
Wow so beautiful! Your hair is gorgeous ❤️🐵🐵 also your shirt is great 👹 thank your for helping me set up a routine to keep my hairs healthy and pretty. I love you so so much! Thanks for everything you do ❤️❤️ also your skin looks amazing
i love you so much 😭💗
I ordered the calia shampoo and conditioner I love it thanks for the recommendation 💕😘❤️
Are you still using it does it clean the scalp well does the shampoo lather well
scrunchies are also good for putting your hair up
I can do scrunches for a ponytail or braid but I can’t do a bun with scrunches anymore. I need tips.
Loza I bought a few hair sticks and love them. My hair is very long and very thick and I can’t feel the hair stick at all.
My hair is wayyyy to thick and long for scrunchies it falls right out lol ive tried a lot of different ones but they just dony hold my hair
Deanna Rose same regular pony tail holders I can’t wrap around once for a ponytail. I have too much hair lol I did get hair sticks and it actually holds my hair and isn’t painful and it stays
Yes
Hi , I just am a new subbi , and am with you on this growing my hair , which I started seriously after incorporating Rice water , my Question to you is when do you use rice water . My hair ends became very rough after using them .
It did help in the growth though.
And let me tell you you and your hair are a beauty to watch 🤗thanks for sharing your tips!
love the behemoth shirt girl !!!
Your hair and you are so beautiful!😭❤️ you remind me of Nina Dobrev x
Thank you so much! 🖤
Leaving this comment to vouch calia! It's definitely worth the money and lasts a long time. My hair was falling out by the chunks (I'm in my 20s for reference) until January when I switched to washing my hair once a week and using calia. I haven't had hair fall out since then.
Calia! Calia!
Too bad I didn’t work for me :( my scalp got little bumps and my hair felt weird :( did you have any type of reaction in the beginning of using the shampoo??
As soon as I saw that Behemoth long sleeve, I knew I could trust because Im here for the same reason 🤘🏼
Thanks for the tips! Great video!
thanks so much!
Those are some really great tips! I also like to wash my hair 2-3 times a week too! I'm also trying to grow my hair our really long. Like to mid thigh length too. Yours is always soooo pretty!!! Especially, with those waves from your braids. Yeah, your hair length right now is definitely a little pass hip length. I would say its tailbone length.
Thank you so much 🖤
@@OrganicallyAnna You're welcome very much :)
Love all your tips.
Another tip to softener your hair is to wash it with distilled / demineralized water if you have hard water like mine... I diluite my shampoo with distilled water.. it help me a lot because before my hair was very dry and the distilled water has no minerals in it.. also Apple cider vinegar helps to shine your hair.. a little bit diluited with distilled water it helps a lot.. I used a diy spray with demineralized water and a little bit of Apple cider vinegar in the Last wash of my hair and I spray it...
Sorry if I made mistakes but I m italian😅
And how do you rinse the shampoo?
The Behemoth shiiiirt hell yeah🤘🤘
You are so beautiful and I love your hair videos so much!
Thank you!! 🖤
Do use a different shampoo to clarify your hair from buildup once a month? Also besides oils, do you put any other products in your hair?
Argan Rain shampoo cleans my colored and straightened hair very well. I also use argan oil with the conditioner and sometimes the leave-in conditioner. I also use the mask if I'm in need of hair repair from my beautician.
Carla Finley Say what?
One of the best things I've done for a leave in conditioner is organic cold pressed coconut oil.
Thanks Anna loved it. I wanted to how do I do scalp treatments on days I'm working out? I have been using coconut oil on my hair since my childhood but these days, as I work out almost everyday, I find my scalp gets oily and greasy sooner and so I don't understand how to incorporate oil treatments on my hair now. Love your content, thanks ❤️
Ramyaa H try doing the oil treatment the day you wash or the day before. I like to put a treatment on my scalp and leave it while I work out, because the heat your body generates when you’re exercising is actually really good for helping the mask seep in! Then I’ll wash it out when I get home or leave it until the next morning, depending on how sweaty and gross it is haha
Yay! New vid 😃☺️
Your hair is so beautiful ❤️
my hair is at the tailbone length and its stuck 😢 its been like this for about 4 months.Do you know what i can do?? i want to be at butt length
Hi , do you any heat product for your hair ? Like hair curler , straightener
How many times do u wash your hair in a week and what is gap number of days between two washes?
Your tips are simply AWESOME! I tried your banana and chocolate masks and ...WOW. They work like miracles. Thanks a lot for all your tips and tricks!😜 I just contacted your cousin marianna to find out more about the capillary schedule. My hair has grown 4 inches in 3 months! I can't believe it. It was at waist length and now it's almost touching my butt 😃(I know my comment is long and sort of an update but I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you and your tips😀)
omg this makes me so happy!! Thank you so much 😭💗
@@OrganicallyAnna you're welcome!!😊😊
One of the best videos 😍
Wow beautiful dear i love ur long silky shiny hair
Do always wash your hair? Like monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and sunday
Just bought some Argan oil and a mask today. Looking to improve my hair care routine!
Argan is not a real oil
Can you do a video on the maximum hydration method for fine high porosity Caucasian hair?
I’ve never used calia shampoo and conditioner and my hair is very frizzy, dry and wavy. Would this work good on this hair type?? I’ve used a argan oil shampoo and conditioner but not sure if I need to switch? Please let me know!
Could you review innersense organic natural hair products?
Great advice as always! But what is the difference between all the calia shampoos for dry hair? One is moisturizing, one hydrating and the other for dry hair? What's the difference and how do I find out which one works for me?
Louksna F the Purifying for dry hair is my favourite because it really cleanses my scalp but it doesn’t leave my hair feeling dry or stripped. The Purifying for normal-oily hair is a little more Purifying than the other one. The hydrating shampoo, or any hydrating products, really help to bring moisture into the hair strands. This is great if you only wash your hair once a week or if your hair really needs intense hydration. Moisturizing products, or the moisturizing shampoo/conditioner help to moisturize the hair cuticle and keep it flat, so it looks shinier, smoother, and less frizzy. It’s really good if you wash your hair more often!
Do you dye it? What shampoo and conditioner
What mask etc
Updated routine please
#notificationsquad
+love ya keep going 💙💙
🖤🖤
Yes I sleep on a silk pillow thank you for your advice
Okay I’ll try that all
How do you feel about the HASK hair products?
Can we use jhonson baby shampoo ? Is it safe from sulphate and silicon free
Hi Anna after using vatika hair mask I cannot manage my hairloss, what can u advice
Any tips for haircare will traveling? :( my hair feels horrible
Love your shirt 😍
beautiful💓 My name is Masao Inoue by japanese
Is it ok if i tie my hair with my own hair almost all day long?
I'm prone to having a greasy scalp and hair, so I'm nervous to go more than a couple days without washing it, or using any oils or masks.
What do you use in it for shine
Can you review Rahua classic shampoo & Conditioner
I came for the long hair advice and stayed for the Behemoth sweater. 😍
Forgot I don't use any heat on my hair once a month I'll just blow dry it but other days it wil just dry in the house
A fellow search and destroyer. My hair tangles at night and braiding is really the only way to wake up the next morning without hours of detangling.
I live super close to Toronto! hello from a fellow Canadian! :)
yay! 🖤🖤🖤
When I used sulphate free shampoo and conditioner after a month my hair looks dead why??
Hi
How can I make my hair smell good ?
Lol, I look for split end the exact same way!
I love your channel 😘
I've been doing everything I possibly can to keep my hair hydrated, but I still struggle with split ends. Besides all your tips is there anything else I could be missing? Something in my diet maybe? I do take a multivitamin and eat fairly healthy..
Ellie King eating healthy foods and taking vitamins is super important for growing out your hair. Once the ends start to split though, it’s important to trim them as needed. You don’t have to cut them all at once, but every few months take off a little until they’re gone. When preventing them, maybe try using a protein treatment every now and then to strengthen the hair, since you’re already doing a good job of hydrating it. The rice water rinse is super easy to do and it’s really effective!
So like i have super long hair under my waist but I can't keep it ipen cause it get tangle 😢 help
My hair is as long as your and it falls everywhere in the house. I need to figure out how to stop it from falling.
I cut my hair a year ago, it was past my hips and I cut it about three inches under my shoulders and it hasn't grown in a year besides an inch, I used to love my hair because of how long it was and now I feel so insecure because of how short it is knowing that my hair used to grow very quick. I don't know what to do anymore, I don't use heat on my hair, I've only gotten a perm once in August of 2021 and I wash my hair daily with only shampoo and conditioner (I've been washing my hair daily since I was little)
Try bone broth Dr Axe ... Hair will grow like crazy good..
your hair is super awesome and beautiful thanks for the tips I am growing mine out the only thing is I got too use high end stuff and wash it every day don't no how you girls get away wit washing it twice a week.
Gary Rice Putting it up all day helps.
Your ends seem a bit lighter then your roots... i have the same thing. Dark brown at the top then about mid back to my knees, the rest is a bit lighter 😶😬
Hello! I'm curious to know if you water your hair when you shower on non-wash hair days or if you put it up to prevent it getting wet :) thanks!
most people just put it up, you can use a shower cap or whatever you usually dry you hair with to wrap it up while you shower
Is your hair naturally wavy? Btw it’s so pretty and shiny. I have wavy/curly hair but it’s not shiny like yours...is there a reason?
Thank you! My hair is naturally pretty straight, the waves are usually from sleeping with braids :)
I found the shampoo from holistichabits my fav hair yourtuner she is so calming
What brand of scissors do you use for cutting your split ends?
Michelle Stewart that’s a really good question, I don’t even remember 😭 I got them at Sally’s beauty supply if that helps!
How to get rid of dandruff?
I like to growing my hair. Now my hair is short but I not a cut this hair now I like a long hair and I wash my hair 3 or 4 times from a week. I know everyday shammpo using our hair its not good for our hair.so I dont using shampoo every day.
If someone has protein sensitive hair would you still recommend the leave in conditioner? I’ve been searching for one but my hair and coconut oil do not mix well at all lol
Dana Badala There are leave in conditioners without coconut or protein. Shea Moisture has them. One is their low porosity leave in and the other is the Manuka honey. As I am has one. I forgot the name. Many many more.
