We borrowed this Geely Coolray from Geely Philippines to make an honest review out of it!! Hope you guys feel the real review of the car!

Lim means you can set the speed limit. We tried 60kph limit sa Calax at kahit bilisan mo hanggang 60 lang talaga. Hill assist naman is when you are going downhill pababagalin din nya. All are for safety. Promise maganda talaga ang Geely. Lahat na yata ng safety assistance nasa kotse na. And you can start the car kahit wala ka pa sa loob. At least pagpasok mo napapalamig na nya ng kusa
Infotainment system is already being modded. So yung mga infotainment nung mga ibang coolray meron na Android Auto and Apple Carplay with lots of other apps. Infotainment system ni coolray is like an Android Tablet. Built-in wifi etc... 1 year and 4months na si coolray ko with some mods done
mai-update na rin ba yong infotainment nya na walang android

Agree with the exterior design, ang ganda ng curves. Cabin is S-Class. Maganda din pala showroom ng Geely, classy, thanks for showing that. Dami din secret features tulad ng hidden key sa fob, tutunog yung alarm pag naiwan mo yung susi sa loob ng sasakyan, at aircon vents sa ilalim ng upuan.
Cannot say enough good things about my Coolray Sport! I’ve been enjoying it for 1.5 years now! Good value for money 😃.

So far, i’ve not encountered a single issue. All good. Can’t complain on fuel consumption.
What color did you get??? Will get one soon and I can’t decide if white or silver! White seems decent but scared it might turn yellow in time
Noong bago pa lang mga Japanese cars, ganyan sabi ng mga may ari ng mga American car. Recently, ganyan din sabi nila sa Kia at Hyundai. Mga quality ng mga Chinese cars iba compared noong bago pa lang silang nangongopya ng mga kotse. Game changer na sila ngayon kasi sa price points nila, fully loaded na compared sa mga Japanese cars.
Hindi sya malakas sa gas. After 1k kilometers matipid na po. We went to batangas parang 2 lines lang sa guage nya nabawas. Di na kami nagpagas ulit bumalik pa kami tagaytay khapon.
Yung assistive light niya po is from the foglights. Naglilight yung side nung foglights kung saan ka nagtuturn. Hehe. Hope this helps po.

Tama ka bro tsaka Mapepera lang talaga ang kaya bumili ng Geely products since marami silang disposable income for a disposable car. While yung mga Japanese car buyers naman ay saktong kuripot lang since pangmatagalan ang gustong kotse o Kaya naman gusto pa rin nila ma i resell ng medyo mataas when comes the time na magpapalit na ng oto.

Would you suggest this car for a family of 5? Kaya ba ng engine ung bigat? Saka d ba masyado masikip pra sa limang tao?
5 is fine with kids. Pero if teenagers na yung maga anak I would go for the 7 seater Okavango.
I cant believe na pinanoud ko ito lht , akala ko mabobored ako yawa , Planning to buy one kasi... Inshaallah i could buy one. Nice review all honest tlga. And got some chuckles hahah
sa ngaun boss ang reklamo nila eh yung after sales service ng Geely, Sobrang tagal makarating ng parts (4~5 mos.) like yung sa suspension.
Here's my input regarding warranty.
While its good to purchase a car that has long warranty, we have to take note that unforeseen expense are not covered especially if this is your only car.
Case in point, if you own this one and it broke down and the claim is under warranty,they will cover the repair. But the expense of you commuting to your office while the car is under repair is not covered.
So yes having a long warranty has its upside but purchasing an asset such as this one, it has to have proven high reliability.
A review of the Comfort version would be great. Not a fan of sunroofs and that's the only trim that doesnt have it. Also, hope you can make a comparison with the Territory.
Ok sana yung sport. Kasi im also not a fan of the rear spoiler and sunroof

Nice review bro! Game changer na mga China Cars. And I'm thinking paano makaka cope up mga Japanese Brand, Korean brands and others considering the price level that these china cars are giving. No hate to China made cars. We just have to accept it, that everything else nowadays is/are made in China. At the end its the consumers whom will benefit more from it. Happy Motoring.

Excellent review but can be super if the sound level of the talk is more consistent. Banawe Boy really know car stuff and is very convincing and gets across as friendly and honest. disposable car? really??? GCR is not new in the market.. it maybe new here in the PH pero abroad matagal na. I have a 3 year old GCR and it still performs like brand new!

@@emcielo6735 ang Sabi po kasi sa akin ng friend ko sa Banawe, Chinese car parts tend to be a mix of parts from different brands. So you can sometimes find the parts but from a different brand. Dalhin daw yung piyesa mismo sa Banawe when searching.
