DDDA became my favorite game, I never had one, but this game sure it is a masterpiece for me. Thanks for still make content, Nihil, your channel has become my definitive guide and also my favorite channel on YT.
I started playing this game on PS3 when it first came out and have enjoyed it ever since. Only a couple of months ago did I finally get all the trophies on the PS4 version. Your videos were instrumental in my better understanding the game, so thanks for all your hard work.
I used to find Ranger pretty boring until I saw your Debilitator video. There I realized that it worked *great* in a support role. Specially with the rusted bow. So now I have an ideal vocation for whenever I'm in the mood for a playthrough where I let my pawns take the center stage.
Awesome stuff. Ranger is a favorite those who are new to Dragon's Dogma because you can cheese bosses with little to no effort. I tend to stay away from it too but it's still fun to watch.
I'm a total scrub and after trying all classes I gave Ranger a try. Maybe it's just me, but this class is amazing. I run around with one pawn for heals and enchants and that's it. So far Ranger has been the best experience in the game.
I could see being Ranger if I could come up with a creative immersion into a Roleplay character. I like Warriors, and not hanging back. Ranger also seems really powerful, and low risk, so maybe a good choice for a challenge run.
lucplaysgames he has videos going over augments, and skills I know there are more videos then just but I can’t list them off the top of my head, but you’ll find them if you look :)

Second dragons dogma game has been known to be on the table and queue since 2018. And a netflix series is coming soon following the arisen from the tutorial.
You show love to a game most have forgotten about. Even World of Warcraft gets more attention and is a worse game by far than DDDA. I often said a sequel would be legendary, but face facts, the video game industry would ruin it now. We are so fortunate to the modding community, who do this epic game justice. Time to finish my naked Ranger run, gold equipment, no healing, and finally completely intoxicated, to the point my PC controller looks like a wheel on a mac truck. Yep, going to be like a family reunion, only without that one uncle that still likes to fling boogers.
@@venomblader Didn't know, now I have to clean the brain matter from my head just exploding. But thanks for what's left of my head's up. I'm thrilled with childish optimism, and completely overwhelmed with adult pessimism that Capcom can faithfully pull it off.
Nihil0.0 I have an question.... can you tell me how I could get very fast RC (Rift Crystals) everyone says I need to farm Cursed Dragon or Mimics but they only give like 10k-35k and lvl 3 armor or weapon cost like 25k RC. I have in my storage like 11 (lvl 3 cursed weapons) And 10 (lvl3 cursed armor) and I still don't got the armor and weapon what I want. (I'm playing as an Sorcerer lvl 1-10 mage , lvl 11-200 Sorcerer) Its hard to farm death so I farm Daimon. In your other Video I saw that you had like a Million RC. It would make my day. ~KONO DIO DA!?!?
Lazule no, assassin has the best physical attack in the game. Max lvl assassin's physical attack without any weapon is 900+, while ranger is just around 600.
"Really what makes Ranger so powerful is Blast arrows" No. What makes Ranger so powerful is that Dire/Deathly/Reaper Arrow are are a 5x/7x/9x damage amp. Assuming you can correctly time the flash. Blast arrows is just a bonus at that point.
@@crimson1953 I used sword and board when I was level up as assassin(to get more damage in my build) and had the blink strike ring so I was destroying everything.
So I'm commenting on this video as it appears to be your most recent. I have a request: could you make a video detailing how exactly the enchantments work? (The ones mage and MK applies) im working on understanding it better so i know if i converts damge to that type,or adds it onto. How does it work With physical only weapons? Or with perma-echanted? Is MK vs mage better or same? Im working on a very unique build/playstyle for MK that needs this info and you seem to deliver info better than anyone else. If you want to just reply here that would work to, i know videos take time. Thanks.
It's all explained in this video below. Basically Enchanted weapons are mostly, only viable for MK and MA. Every other vocation has better results with a pure stat weapon. ua-cam.com/video/ttpAtgT-Lkk/v-deo.html
@@Nihil0.0 so i watched the video you recommended and it was informative on enchanted weapons but i was more interested in understanding how active enchantment (mages and MK applied) affect weapons both physical and split weapons. Do you have a video on enchanting? Pros and cons?
@@douglasjager3554 oh, like the boons and buffs. Between the tier1, tier2 and tier3 it's mostly duration lengthened and only minimal damage increase. The damage is based mostly on your innate magic stat and augments, such as Acuity. The weapon's stat applies too, but not so much. If you add a holy to an ice weapon, then the holy is applied as if it were always holy. If you apply holy to a holy weapon, there is a slight boost, but minimal, no more than 10% There is a greater gain at lower levels, where the calculation is compensating, but that calculation is removed beyond level 50, or 51.
Yes there will be difference in your stat as each level up in various vocation has different gains. For example, ranger favours stamina and if you level up mostly in ranger.. you will get high stamina for your stat. I reccommend looking at stat growth in dragon dogma wikia
Can somebody help me? I came so far at lvl 50 and I just found out I did not do a sidequest lost and found and now I think Im blocked out half of the witchwood. What do I do? Do I have to restart game? :CC
Since you changed Nilly to a fighter, instead of a strider (why?!) I tend to go on a BBI run with either a (modded) warrior, or a ranger and let her and my pawn to do the heavy hitting and support them with debilitating arrows. Honestly, the only role I REALLY suck at this point is being a mage.
I don't know if you will read this nihil0.0 but i have a challenge. Low-ish level chamber of fate iin the everfall no damage (the one with the hell hounds, 2 chimera and lich) hardest room in the game imo. Any vocation.

Okay now make a elemental weakness video giving comparison between normal attacks and the elemental weakness attack and if u can test all the elements on a single monster/monsters and see which is the most effective to the least effective 😅😅
I'm not a fan of how the Ranger shoots arrows much slower than the assassin or the strider, it's so satisfying constantly popping arrows off at a good strafing speed as those classes but the Ranger made ranged combat for me feel quite boring also I prefer those other bow classes because of how you can get in close with some melee too
