Nihil0.0 maybe not a king, but definitely informative and helpful. Maybe more like a sensei. Maybe more like grandmaster. I’d call JonGGonzales the king or emperor, except his videos give demonstrations of how to take out most, if not all, enemy types in Bitterblack Isle, but he doesn’t go into detail about each vocation or any of the skills, augments, or weapons they use. That’s what you do, so I’d say you’re more like the Dragon’s Dogma grandmaster. Just my interpretation though.

Assassin solo feels so good to play. You have the versatility needed to deal with any kind of enemy and the tools to avoid any damage, and using different combinations of weapons keeps the combat fresh. I played with pawns for a majority of my first playthrough, then switched to solo play and never went back. It just feels so much better to face hordes of enemies by yourself, with simple precise moves over flashy magics. The silence as you roam the world is also appreciated.
Totally. I am not a fan of having pawns with me either. You can control the battlefield without pawns with you. They often screw things up, like Preemption or setting traps. I can definitely appreciate the care and development that went into the Pawns, but solo is a hell of a lot funner.
You just throw all of your pawns off a cliff or into the ocean and never touch a Rifstone to bring them back from death. At vocation rank 9, assassins also get an augment called "Autonomy" that increases your damage stats and defenses by 20% when you don't have any pawns with you.
These guides are honestly so extremely well made and you’ve covered all the important bases (Information, showcase, Style, Music themed appropriately) This is incredible
@@usernamesystem3586 Each to their own. When I think cool, I factor viability in. However, I still think the Strider is "cooler" and more badass than the Assassin. A lot of the Assassin's tools feel like gimmicks to me.
The music from 4:30 - 5:07 kicks in and hits like a truck. Your videos are aesthetically pleasing enough with the cool intros with cool quotes, action oriented gameplay, and cool music that even people who don't play Dragon's Dogma would want to watch them.
Another fabulous entry in what has been a very enjoyable series. The music on this one conjured images of assassin's creed which was fitting for this schematic. Assassin is strong but to see you take on a group of eliminators was badass. I've nerfed groups of them using maelstrom but even as a mystic knight or magic archer I couldn't just sit in a group of them without having to use a wakestone or two. Nice job. Can't wait to see your take on my two favorite hybrid classes.
Thank you Derek. I love Eliminators. They are always some of my favorites. I am currently working on Magic Archer now, and may have it up in a few days. Mystic Knight might take me some time still. I have some testing with that vocation, and need to figure some things out, before I make it's schematics. But maybe in a week I should feel pretty confident.
This was the most fun class for me. I thought it was going to be Mystic Knight, wasn't, then went Magic Archer, that was fun, then went Assassin and never looked back. It's the perfect class & has the best feeling and most fluid combat in my opinion. It rivals some of the greatest hack and slash action RPGs with the Assassin class alone.
U need to do a run w each vocation. They all have their strengths. Mystic Knight is a counter class. Has by far the best shield skills plus is very nice if u are farming the UR dragon as u can quickly enchant the entire party w holy magic w one spell. Strider has easily the best damage for attacks w helm/brain splitter. Melts any boss. Ranger has tenfold arrow. I dont think i need to tell u what u can do w that lol. Warrior has the basic jumping light attack. Sounds simple and dumb right? Nope. EASILY the most useful attack for the warrior class. See, it does good damage. Knocks enemies down and u can easily knock flying enemies out of the air bc of the trajectory of the attack. Even draconic species fall when u jump attack their tails as they hover.
Started Dragon’s Dogma recently I really like watching your videos but not only for the mechanics and fantastic explanations of the abilities but most importantly for your great taste of music! Been buying some pieces on iTunes already, thanks a lot for that~
Right, the Voidspell I think. True true. Thanks for putting it in the comments. I forget to mention things often, and if they make it in comments, then at least players can be aware. Thanks for checkin' it out Rodz.
I've been playing the game for almost 4 years now. Yet apparently, I've utilized so little of the Assassin's arsenal- or basically all of the classes' maximum potential for that matter. THanks for these videos!
@@Nihil0.0 i typically play Hundred Kisses, Cutting Wind, and Instant Reset. Now Im running with Master Kill and Spider Bite. Never knew they are so useful.
I've been using the combination of shield and daggers. The ability gale harness, showdown, invisibility and liquid vim is crazy for raw dps since the liquid vim negates the stamina loss. Not counting that you can apply many buffs and augments to increase strength, defense and raw damage overall. Takes a little of preparation but much less than mage, sorcerers and mystic knights.
I didn't actually know shields could be equipped with daggers - last I remember, it didn't let me equip them at the same time (that was months ago though and haven't picked it up since)
This was the first video I watched from you a couple of years back. After my first playthrough, where I fell in love with the Assassin Vocation, I made a new char and min-maxed it to suit my own taste. Your videos have helped a lot, so thank you very much for your hard work. I've recently began a new playthrough, and I was looking through your videos to refresh my memory. EDIT: I also wrote to ask about 2 of the songs in the video but my friend found them, heh.
With the announcement of Dragon's Dogma 2, I knew exactly where to go for a refresh on building an assassin. Nice work, Nihil. It bothers me that this channel is as underrated as it is. When I fire up my obligatory playthrough to celebrate the announcement, I'll be mentioning you for sure. Great content!
Very insightful, i recently rediscovered this game for me and although i already maxed out my assassin on the ps3 version gear and level-wise. I am now trying to build/create the ultimate perfect assassin,in all aspects,on the ps4 and this video helped me a lot.
Nihil I really do consider you one of the definitive sources to dragons dogma. I'm excited for the upcoming dragons dogma 2, I heard the creator let dragons dogma online go down in preparation for the official second game. I look forward to what you can clearly analyze and lay out about it and I'm extremely excited about the upcoming warrior class because it really came into its own in the online game, they gave the it a brace mechanic that is simular to a parry but it sped up your focus manuevers and gave a faster more immediate charge and recovery to some attacks as you build up vengeance. The had the most fun with the assasin class in this game but it really hampered further playthroughs when my fantasy greatsword class was kinda reduced to a glorified melee caster. There were ways to play the class faster sure but it felt hella clunky and no where near as smooth and rewarding as classes like the assasin.
Yeah, Dogma Online killed Mystic Knight, it was a disgrace. I really liked the Seeker class and how Sword could perform the Assassin Sword skills, and how Warrior could thrust a Sword into a neck while climbing. But ultimately it was a MMO, and I hated that aspect. Dogma 2 would be nice to see, but I am slightly worried, with some of what I saw in Dogma Online
@@Nihil0.0 Yeah I didn't play long but some friends did power level me and I experienced alot. I'm not gonna lie alot of what was happening at max level was mega ridiculous and its not really what I want in the next game also. I dont want it to lose its methodical slow but tactical pace. Dragons dogma online was free to play too and every free to play game has and overload of ridiculous and unpolished fluff mechanics that make the game feel... well free lol. I think dragons dogma 2 will be the next proper step up man I wouldn't worry, especially if its gonna release in america
14:17 - This song is a lullaby for sleeping babies in Turkey which name is "Dandini dandini dastana". When i heard that song i was like "what kind of asssasian is this :D". This video is awesome, greetings from Turkey.
Exceptional video Nihil!!!! I believe you might have outdone yourself with this one; well, this whole vocation schematics series, really. The countless hours…days…weeks…months…years you’ve put into playing this game, and thus, studying all schematics/mechanics to the point where you know all the pros and cons of every single piece of armor and every weapon, weapon type, every skill, and every single enemy type and all their moves really helps us out when trying to decide on character builds and end game play styles and such. Thanks to your videos on this game, I know which vocations I like and which ones I don’t. I keep switching back and forth between MA, Strider, and Assassin, depending on what I need to fight, and/or if I’m on a farming run. After I’ve maxed out at 200 and learned all the skills and augments, no need to switch to any other vocation. When I first started playing this game years ago, I remember everyone I talked to (from other players commenting on the wiki pages for this game to comment threads on other UA-cam videos for this game or other players of this game who I ran into at game stop) saying you might change your mind about what vocation you want for your end game build or play style. Sure enough, I did. I wish I’d found this video, and also, your channel back then. It would have saved me lots of time, and I wouldn’t have burned myself out replaying unnecessary battles trying to get past gangs of bandits just to level up who I was too weak to be fighting to begin with; wasting time playing as vocations I don’t really favor at all. What’s done is done now, but I still learn something new about this game with damn near every one of your videos. Also, idk what exactly that music is, but it fits perfectly with the Assassin video. Almost gives me the vibe of an assassin or ninja movie. Sorry, I know I’m a little late here. Anyway, outstanding work as always, Ser.
Nice. Thank you for your words. I appreciate it. I do spend quite a lot of time when making videos, especially on these Schematic vids. I am happy when I hear viewers learn from them. That's why I make videos
Thank you for your work ! I'm making a "pure" assassin 1-10 fighter and 10-200 assassin. Your video is going to help me a lot about which augments and which skills i should take. Thank you a lot again for all your help !
I’ve watched a number of your character schematics videos; and I love your choices of music. Your videos are a great source of information, on how to properly play each different character. I know how much you like to create a more well rounded character; and was wondering how you leveled-up your Assassin .
Thank you Dave. This particular Assassin has the path at 2:40. Usually I like to just have 100% Assassin stats. And even for every vocation, I like to have the 100% stats for each vocation. So 100% Strider. 100% warrior and so on
Have you seen squirrels land, Nihil? I got this animation for my assassin last Tuesday, an harpy caught me and after a struggle let me fall, I thought my pawn’ll catch me, instead my assassin landed as a superhero, never seen that animation before. DD always surprise me! I simply love this game.
I played strider from 1to 10 then assasin till 200. Sure the health is low but who needs health when u can even fck up death and daimons 2nd form without any buff or consumeable items while soloing
Lol but u cant do much to enemies weak to magic. U will need a mage/sorcerer pawn to even do ANY damage to those enemies. Red dragons and blue dragons take different damage from one another. U need magic damage to literally even take anything off their hp.
Entire video is great. The only thing that I noticed that was off was the times for Staredown/Showdown/Crackdown. I’m pretty sure it’s the reverse for each. Any time I used Showdown, the defence de buff lasted a much shorter time than the strength buff. I’m not sure of the exact times, but the strength lasted maybe around 30% - 50% longer than the defence.
He could be doing a lot more if he knew how to use some of those augments he said were pointless. Like Toxicity. I assure u, it is not pointless to do all your accumulative poison damage instantly. Cant one shot everything w strength farming. Still have some enemies that can withstand. Toxicity melts them quicker.
After maaany playthroughs I finally gave solo adventuring a chance and of course I picked assassin for it. ;) It was a lot of fun and also a bit of a shock to see how much faster you can go through the game when you don't have to "maintain" more than one character. It was also my first time using Snakebite; you can destroy or disable most of the enemies so easily with that one! Unlike most, I also used plegic arrow; it was nice for slowing down cyclops so I can hit the eye. (I don't use rusted weapons anymore; too powerful) Anyway, thanks again for your videos!
Best class on Dogma, period. The stat growth of strength and stamina. Great Windmill, Dire Gouge, Powder Blast in combination with a shield and shortbow. Unstoppable. Not to mention with Assassin stats you can switch to other vocations and be unstoppable too. The Assassin strength growth is 16% better than a fighter if you take into account level 200 and gold forged devils and and 80% augmentation boosts
Toxicity is not pointless. It takes the accumulative damage and makes it instantaneous. Causing much more poison damage immediately instead of waiting for it to accumulate.
people trash talk assassins alot. but i feel like it was just because it was designed for the wrong game. The devs underestimated how often youre fighting bosses in this game when assassin is more geared towards killing smaller enemies easily with no risk of dying, plus it looks cool.
Sword and Board assassin was one of my favorite builds. Mostly used moving fortress in combination with blitz strike to move through combat strictly with skills. Moving fortress can act as a sort of improvised "reset" for blitz strike. Then dire gouge for bosses, and whirlwind attack for aoe, and you can handle pretty much anything that way.
My build is 1-10 fighter 10-97 assasin 97-200 sorcerer Totally inspired by your recomendations in the comment section I simply love to be able to use many vocation cause i love most Of them
The dagger counter is literally a bugged skill that they never bothered to fix. You can see the intended window in the animation. Also you neglected to mention that Moving Castle has Perfect Block frames, as with any other shield skill
Only downside to assassin is we can't equip sword and daggers, but that's not too big of a deal. Mostly wished we can have multiple saves on PS4 so we don't have to start completely over for optimal builds every time. I know we do anyway with 1, I just mean that we can't keep our old save and make other saves
That is unfortunate. RPG's typically have multiple save slots. Luckily for me I can on PC easily. Another thing that PS4 users do is have multiple accounts. I'm not sure how easy that is, but with that you can use your own pawns.
Truth to be told I just started the game as strider so what is best augment for second or second vocation that is for stats I would play with dagers more then Bow and arrow tho I sometimes see the usage of those
Well, there are so many variables. Each vocation requires different augment setups, and also there are preferences. My favorites are Autonomy, Clout, Eminence, Stability, Predation, Adhesion. But, this video below goes over the augments. - ua-cam.com/video/4O5y6ZAzTZA/v-deo.html&t=
I was thinking about making an assassin build! As first time I played was a tank! I started a fresh game as strider, so once I hit level 10 and make my way to that base where you can change vocation my plan is to change to assassin! Hopefully it's worth it!
this is a very well made guide, thx. a question, what could be the best combination of 7 augments to use for a dagger/bow assassin? new to game, have heard i could use only 7 augments at once ! thx in advance!
Preference really. This video below goes over augments, but the typical strength boosters, like Autonomy (if solo) Clout, Eminence (if Strider or Warrior) Damping is nice, Grit is a favorite of mine, and Stability is a favorite ua-cam.com/video/4O5y6ZAzTZA/v-deo.html
Thank you for making my DD:DA experience as awesome as it has been. You are my go to person for all things DD related. Would you be able to recommend which vocations to level as to 200 for an Assassin? I know I saw you mention it on this video or in a post here but I can't seem to find it again.
Firstly is your name Unvvoman derived from the Cello artist Unwoman? If not, she is awesome and you should check her out. Well, you cant really go wrong with leveling and stats, but Assassin would do best with higher strength over Magic. Stamina will be important. I would say start as Strider, and then start ranking vocations at Level 10 or so. Get the augments from Warrior, and any others that you want. Put 20 levels as Sorcerer to get the +100 magic stat. And then probably by the time, after ranking the various vocations, you can switch to Assassin permanently by LV 40 or 50. Your Magic stat in () should be about (350). At that number you can gain the most from enchanted weapons. I like my stamina to be about 4000 after LV200. My "Perfect" build, and this is just my idea of perfect is - Fighter to LV10 Assassin to LV 140 Sorcerer to LV 187 Ranger to LV 197 Warrior to LV198 Strider to LV199 Fighter to LV200 This gives 800 strength, 400 magic, 4405 stamina, 3445 health, but low defenses. If you want some more health and more defense, level some Fighter or Mystic Knight. This video has a few things about stats - ua-cam.com/video/_RFeiLdDCAI/v-deo.html&t
Nihil0.0 Nah, I hadn't heard of the Cello artist back when I started using this username. I saw some interesting circus ringleader looking gent on Facebook with it as a lastname and liked it. I still have yet to actually check her stuff out, so now I think I will :) Thanks for the great reply! I appreciate how thorough you always are.
Nihil0.0 I'm new to Dragon's Dogma and I saw how u just parried that Wolfs attacks. And I only heard from my friend that u can only parry if u have an shield. Pls tell me how u just do that. It would help me so much because I want to play with an Assasin. And u really helped me with this Assasin Guide Video. I just started to like DDDA more then Skyrim. And It would me a favor if you can give me any Tipps for an Assasin (like Weapons,Skills,Armors and some tactics to get an easier Playthrough. Its very hard to fight vs the Dragon as an Assasin : ( Edit: And can u say me which Vocation I should start for Assasin (My english is not the best. I'm from Germany and I need to learn English more because I want to go to USA for my GF
Well, my style of Assassin is not going to be for everyone. The parry skill from Daggers is Masterfull Kill. It can parry any physical attack, and then there is the shield as well, but the shield needs to be on par to the enemy. Sword also has parry, with Clairvoyance, but I am not a fan of it. I would rather just have Full moon slash for invincibility frames. My preferred style for Assassin is Sword and Bow setup, and then with that setup I like to have th Force Hatchet sword and then make the Bow my primary. The Force hatchet has an 8 hit charge that will double your damage from the bow, shown in this video below - ua-cam.com/video/BAFjaXcBytM/v-deo.html&t= And English should be fairly easy for you to learn, I spoke Deutsche when I was younger and English is derived from German. Good luck to you, and I hope you make it out here
@@Nihil0.0 I thank you for your help. The Force Hatchet has brought me a lot further. The Cyclops and the Chimera are no longer a problem. The Drake was also a lot easier. All my money is gone : \ . But money shouldn't be a problem. I have a question how did you get from the death 999.999 EXP in your video where you introduced us the Force Hatched. Because in a video from a UA-camr who fought the same boss didn't get as much as you did. He only got 400k or something
Check this video out too. There is a blessed flower that will double exp as well. This video below shows how to get it, and also how to reach lv200 in 5 hours with Strider, or Assassin ua-cam.com/video/wpb76PLqla0/v-deo.html
having calculated every stat growth and change due to stats over lvl 100 what you have is a character with base stats of: health - 2749 - stamina - 3287 - attack - 716 - defense - 260 - magick attack - 338 - magick defense - 164... overall i would say that's a solid build for base stats
i agree i love the augment athletisism myself i was researching the best builds for assasin as i like it but want a good end game build ( lvl120, noob to end game and bitterblack isle) and i ran a load numbers for assasin to get about 3k health stam and about 400 on both attack and magick attack for heavens keys. what do you think is the best weapon for assasin dagger wise? and is attack more valuable than magick attack? cuz atm i'm ready to make your build @@Nihil0.0
Well, the best weapons for any vocation are the highest damage, but for me, I like the look of Criteria Daggers, the Cutlass Sword, Dragon's Aegis Shield, and the Darkening Storm Bow, I just wish that there was a better looking bow that wasn't the highest damage bow. For Enchanted weapons, there is a cap of your innate magic stat of 400. meaning anything beyond 400 magic doesn't apply, so you are better off going mostly strength for a physical vocation, such as Assassin. The weapon's magic stat is what matters. I like the Heaven's keys alright, but visually i like the Scalding Razors the most or the Kunai.... But the Kunai do no damage to Ghosts.
Correct me if I'm wrong.. is this a good build for an assassin? Dagger + Bow leveling my Arisen would be: Levels 1 to 10 > Fighter Levels 11 to 141 > Assassin Levels 141 to 188 > Fighter Levels 188 to 198 > Fighter Levels 198 to 199 > Strider Levels 199 to 200 > Warrior for the augments: Clout, Vehemence, Bastion, Arm-Strength, Autonomy, and Proficiency Armor: Oblivion Set Armor, Baleful Nails and Daggerists' Band (i hope I got that right) and Hellfire Cloak Main Weapon: Dagger - Galvanic Razor or Heaven's Key Secondary Weapon: Darkening Storm Items: Conquerors Periapts, Liquid Vim, and Blast Arrows Dagger Skills: Thousand Kisses, Tempest Harness and Masterful Kill (or Instant Reset) Bow Skills: Fivefold Fury, Mighty Bend and Lycean Sight (or Eagle Sight) i've already started the game, I'm at level 10 as Strider, but I feel like I'm not getting higher damages having your feedback and advise is more than appreciated, thank you!
Yeah, that all sounds good. Really it just comes down each player. We're all different. i would switch the Perma Enchanted Daggers for Pure physical daggers though. This video below explains why - ua-cam.com/video/ttpAtgT-Lkk/v-deo.html
In other videos you say pawns are encouraged to do certain actions based on augments. Like Eminence encourages jumping attacks/skills like Helm Splitter. Bow augments, for bows. Adhesion and arm-strength for climbing on bosses. Etcetera. Do you know if Gouge encourages climbing? And would Toxicity encourage pawns to use poison arrows, or skills like Miasma?
This video is two years old, so I'm not sure if you'll reply, but I give it a try, anyway, lol l. I just started this game a few days ago, and I'm really enjoying. But I found out a bit late about how to level characters to take advantage of certain skills and abilities. I've played as a fighter all the way up to level 18, and then a warrior until level 26. Now I'm thinking about going assassin, but I'm not sure in what way it will be affected with how I leveled up to this point. If you would be kind enough to give me some advice, I would highly appreciated it. Thanks!
You wont be effected. The stats are so minor compared to the gear that you equip. Stamina and health are the only stats that should be a concern, but still, not that important. Just take advantage of augments from other vocations.
Have you ever done a video regarding the damage output of Assassin's bow techniques with Gale Harness? Just curious if the highest damage possible holds up to Ranger in any type of shot. I doubt it does, but just curious if it at least "keeps it in the conversation" so to speak. Like does Harness/Showdown Assassin does with Strider.
@@Nihil0.0 Ah, I forgot about these videos, thanks. What I've noticed, is that for the sake of Daimon and similar bosses, with blast arrows especially, Burst damage matters much more than dps. Due to stun locking being what it is, gale harness doesn't actually give much benefit, compared to using double the arrows with tenfold, or using the force hatchet.
This game does a good job when it comes to 'stepping out of your comfort zone' That's one of the many things i love about it and after watching every schematic i get a pretty good idea on what I'm going to do next, thanks
I don't understand, why did they make escape onslaught when we already have masterful kill? Literally the same thing with a different animation and way more damage.
I really, REALLY would like if dragons dogma let you have multiple damn characters saves...
It's that way because of the Pawn feature and the online aspect.

The music from 4:30 - 5:07 kicks in and hits like a truck. Your videos are aesthetically pleasing enough with the cool intros with cool quotes, action oriented gameplay, and cool music that even people who don't play Dragon's Dogma would want to watch them.
Running around BBI solo feels like its a Dark Souls game sometimes.
I never played dark souls but I absolutely love dragons dogma and bbi is just so next level good

Assassin's Creed because there are 10 counter skills.
The music is a nice touch because assassins Originated from the Middle East
Mystic knight is better if you imagine the shield is your primary weapon.
Started Dragon’s Dogma recently I really like watching your videos but not only for the mechanics and fantastic explanations of the abilities but most importantly for your great taste of music! Been buying some pieces on iTunes already, thanks a lot for that~
if you use showdow and have a mage in your party, it heals your negative stats and you only get the positive
THanks for these videos!

still one of the best dragons dogma youtubers out there. thanks for these man!
I didn't actually know shields could be equipped with daggers - last I remember, it didn't let me equip them at the same time (that was months ago though and haven't picked it up since)
Daggers+shield makes you potentially almost completely untouchable. And of course masterful kill only adds to the OPness.
Mystic knight is a counter vocation. All u need is a shield.
Best guide to be a great Assassin in Dark Arisen 👍
Best of his class without voice, perfect buddie and a lot of thanks for that.
This was the first video I watched from you a couple of years back. After my first playthrough, where I fell in love with the Assassin Vocation, I made a new char and min-maxed it to suit my own taste. Your videos have helped a lot, so thank you very much for your hard work.
I've recently began a new playthrough, and I was looking through your videos to refresh my memory.

have you tried dragons dogma online?
Very insightful, i recently rediscovered this game for me and although i already maxed out my assassin on the ps3 version gear and level-wise.
I am now trying to build/create the ultimate perfect assassin,in all aspects,on the ps4 and this video helped me a lot.
It would have been cool if you could equip daggers or swords in the secondary slot too. Running sword/daggers at the same time would have been awesome

Thank you Dave. This particular Assassin has the path at 2:40. Usually I like to just have 100% Assassin stats. And even for every vocation, I like to have the 100% stats for each vocation. So 100% Strider. 100% warrior and so on

Loved watching it. A master at work!!
And I still watch your videos to this day
This was so satisfying to watch.
After maaany playthroughs I finally gave solo adventuring a chance and of course I picked assassin for it. ;)
It was a lot of fun and also a bit of a shock to see how much faster you can go through the game when you don't have to "maintain" more than one character.
It was also my first time using Snakebite; you can destroy or disable most of the enemies so easily with that one!
Unlike most, I also used plegic arrow; it was nice for slowing down cyclops so I can hit the eye. (I don't use rusted weapons anymore; too powerful)
Anyway, thanks again for your videos!
If thats the case u need to be in hard mode.

Parabéns que vídeo legal 👏👏
Best vocation in the whole game right here
man l remember this is my first ever video l watched on your channel
Preemption augment should be replaced by a backstab or a flank augment.
Just got this game, assassin it is. Thanks to this video and it's amazing music.
Such a good video! Thank you!
Toxicity is not pointless. It takes the accumulative damage and makes it instantaneous. Causing much more poison damage immediately instead of waiting for it to accumulate.
Very helpful against anything bigger than grunt enemies.
awesome videos , these help out a lot when planning a character
Thanks. I am happy to hear
people trash talk assassins alot. but i feel like it was just because it was designed for the wrong game. The devs underestimated how often youre fighting bosses in this game when assassin is more geared towards killing smaller enemies easily with no risk of dying, plus it looks cool.
I never gave Fight response a chance. Guess I should
Yep. Super awesome if you are a Climbing Assassin, or a Flanking Assassin.
for a flanking assassin would you want to pair it with a lot of broad slashes?
Yeah, For Flanking, I use Broad slash, Antler Toss, Enhanced Response, and Swift Castle. Fun for swordplay and perfect block.
Assassin is OP af, it's good though! Was a sword and bow playthrough for my first, currently playing through as Warrior
My build is 1-10 fighter 10-97 assasin 97-200 sorcerer
Totally inspired by your recomendations in the comment section
I simply love to be able to use many vocation cause i love most Of them
Nice Daubeny. That's good to hear. Thanks for letting me know, I am always happy to read comments.
The dagger counter is literally a bugged skill that they never bothered to fix. You can see the intended window in the animation. Also you neglected to mention that Moving Castle has Perfect Block frames, as with any other shield skill
well thanks for the tips of the game and the music
Still watching and playing this games..

Wasn’t expecting an Amadeus quote. Nice
Everyone is gangsta until you hear Death music for the first time
I think at one point I commented Magick Archer gang, but I've honestly played Assassin more often because of how fun it is
Assassin is a fun one. Having so many setups with 4 weapons makes for a fresh feel often
Coming up with info is a pain and if sharing an account it depends if the other person is on or not. Not to mention thinking of new pw's is annoying
You can put a usb stick in the back of your ps4 and save to that before starting a new game.
ah.. Masterfull kill. ~MMmmm!~

Truth to be told I just started the game as strider so what is best augment for second or second vocation that is for stats I would play with dagers more then Bow and arrow tho I sometimes see the usage of those

But, this video below goes over the augments. -

Bring a pawn for magic damage bc u wont be able to do any damage to physical resist enemies. So maje ur pawn a sorcerer.

My "Perfect" build, and this is just my idea of perfect is -
Fighter to LV10
Assassin to LV 140
Sorcerer to LV 187
Ranger to LV 197
Warrior to LV198
Strider to LV199
Fighter to LV200
This gives 800 strength, 400 magic, 4405 stamina, 3445 health, but low defenses.
If you want some more health and more defense, level some Fighter or Mystic Knight.
This video has a few things about stats -

Edit: And can u say me which Vocation I should start for Assasin
(My english is not the best.
The Force hatchet has an 8 hit charge that will double your damage from the bow, shown in this video below -
ua-cam.com/video/BAFjaXcBytM/v-deo.html&t=

If you would be kind enough to give me some advice, I would highly appreciated it. Thanks!
You wont be effected. The stats are so minor compared to the gear that you equip. Stamina and health are the only stats that should be a concern, but still, not that important. Just take advantage of augments from other vocations.

@@Nihil0.0 Ah, I forgot about these videos, thanks.
What I've noticed, is that for the sake of Daimon and similar bosses, with blast arrows especially, Burst damage matters much more than dps.
Due to stun locking being what it is, gale harness doesn't actually give much benefit, compared to using double the arrows with tenfold, or using the force hatchet.
so the assassin trap is going overboard in strength and missing magic?
Correct. And missing on defense and health.
1st always warrior but this made me start a sword and shield barbarian/assassin level 40 now pretty damn good

This game does a good job when it comes to 'stepping out of your comfort zone' That's one of the many things i love about it and after watching every schematic i get a pretty good idea on what I'm going to do next, thanks
14:17 "Dandini dandini dastana..." Wtf? Hahahahahahahhahah! This is a Turkish lullaby.
I don't understand, why did they make escape onslaught when we already have masterful kill? Literally the same thing with a different animation and way more damage.
