Thank you Mr. Siebert! It's mainly about "you won't experience the feeling of those signals"

You're welcome! Yep, that's the main idea...to feel something the signals have to make it up to the brain.

Does the actual spinal cord cause the motor neuron to reflex jerk not the 🧠 brain? Someone else explained it this way wondering if that is correct?

Hey Mr. Siebert, thanks for this video, it's helpful for year 1 of med school :).
I was under the impression that the patellar tendon reflex is monosynaptic, instead of polysynaptic. Doesn't that mean that the afferent neuron synapses directly with the efferent neuron, and that therefore an inter-neuron or relay neuron isn't involved? Thanks.

why is the initial reflex pain? shouldn't it be muscle stretch reflex?

Man you have got a disability is such a joke you have better understanding of human body than who have a normal body you have higher consicousness then a normal people i dont think you as a disable man i think you are more capable than me , i know it is not an easy thing that you are dealing with and you have such a nice guts to talk about your injury weakness you make strongest is always there you are not a disable 😊
