Marc and Layla snatched Ammit's braided wig back! Layla and Marcus and Steven came through especially Layla with the Egyptian goddess hero vibes. Mr.Knight was like James Bond. It was nice to see Goddess Taweret use Layla as avatar instead of KhonShu because she's more friendlier.

When Jake become the avatar it must be the best R rated fight scene, Marc was on the ground and Jake comes out then knocks Harrowe out! He must have absorbed ALL the violence in their life and that is why JAKE was the one to really make the deal with Konshu. We need an R rated movie.

There has to be. I heard that Disney made a flounder by calling this episode the series finale on their Twitter account. Like fifteen minutes later, they changed it to season finale.
I thought the fish tank was a metaphor for Marc’s DiD. The fish representing the different alters and the fish tank represent the body (or system) they inhibit. Now there are two fish in the tank representing the knowledge and cooperation of two people/alters. Since Jake clearly wants to be left alone and hasn’t “officially” made his presence known to the other two - there’s only two fish…for now.

I feel like if Steven was born out of Marc’s need of peace then Jake could have been born out his rage. From what we’ve seen of Marc he doesn’t like being violent yet it’s part of him. Jake might revel in the wrath he causes. I only think that cause the fear that others displayed after Jake took control
Steven Made Me So Proud In That Fight Scene 😭🔥💯
The Ammit and Khonsu`s Kaiju Battle was spectacular. Khonshu is the God of gaslighting. Switching between Moon Knight and Mr. Knight in the fight scenes was badass. Moon Knight, Mr. Knight, and Layla vs. Arthur Harrow were extraordinary scenes. Layla's superhero suit looked marvelous. Give Oscar Issac's all the Emmy awards. I loved the limo and Khnoshu's tailor suit in easter eggs in the post-credits. This limo comes from the comics, specifically the 2014 Knights of the Moon series by Warren Ellis, Declan Shalvey, and Jordie Bellaire. Well, Khonshu is visiting Mr. Knight's tailor! The image of Khonshu in costume frequently appeared in Jeff Lemire and Greg Smallwood's 2016 series Moon Knight, which provided much of the inspiration for this television series. Overall, I enjoyed the Moon Knight TV series. My favorite part of this episode was Layla rescuing the Egyptian girl and she asked Are you an Egyptian superhero? The Layla and Taweret team-up was also amazing. Jake Lockley was giving me hit-man vibes. The shot of Moon Knight flying into the Moon was dope. Hippo!! Arthur Harrows was a great villain. If we understand one element now, it's far that Khonshu of Moon Knight is the pettiest, shrewdest, and maximum deceptively God of the MCU.

Yep. It's official......This is THE BEST Marvel show currently, in my opinion. I was interested from episode 1 till now, and every episode kept getting better and better. The characters, plot, action, mythology....I can go on, but this show was just marvelous, no pun intended. Ngl I'm kinda scared to watch the other Marvel shows after this, because I have a feeling that they won't hold my interest like Moon Knight did.
They're good, but definitely don't expect ANYTHING on the level of this.

I was so proud of Steven when he started whooping ass. Khonshu was so petty asf showing up to kill Harrow in that suit and limo lol. I can't help but feel bad for Jake tho. He had to have manifested during his mother's beatings cause Steven didn't know that life. He must have experienced most of the physical abuse, the anger, and violent tendencies that come from that. This show has been amazing!

I love what you guys said about the deeper stuff in Marvel. Like frl, imagine how the snap woulda affected people man. Look how the trauma affected Wanda and even Karli from FATWS. She became a super soldier because of the reverse snap. I mean wow man. Marvel is real man. It's so good. Marvel just shows how hurt people hurt people. It's so much deeper than just sky beam, superpower stuff.

He KNEW... Episode 5 when they flashed back to Marc in the tomb before Khonshu approached him to become his avatar, dude straight up acknowledged that he could sense that Marc's mind was fractured. He fuckin knew about Jake THEN...and all this time I've been wondering why Jake seems to be intentionally NOT interacting with Marc and Steven. I think Khonshu probably told Jake not to communicate with them... He wanted to make sure he always had that ace up his sleeve. 😈😈😈 That's one slippery muhfucka... I still like him, tho. There's somethin about Khonshu, man. 😎
Absolutely loved the entire show. I was also slightly annoyed that Moonknight was more disconnected than other projects.
The connections were subtle but they’re there. For one thing, Khonshu is Bast’s brother. And the establishment of multiple ‘afterlives’ is more groundwork for Mephisto than we ever saw in WandaVision.
And I can’t wait for Moonknight to team up with Blade and others in the future. I suspect Layla will have a role going into the MCU’s future as well.
Not everything needs to be super tied in for these TV shows. They're doing it right so far. The general audiences have shown signs of fatigue, so by having the TV shows be mostly standalone stories, they can bring those people back in with disconnected stories and attract new people who don't follow the MCU closely.
Then, by bringing characters like Moon Knight into future movies that ARE super connected, Marvel makes those newer fans WANT to go to see the continuing adventures of the character they saw in a TV show.
@@CrossOutBryce you get it! And tbh, when they aren’t super connected, like with Moon Knight, they’re able to keep a story completely original and different if they want. For example, WandaVision would’ve been even better than it already was if it didn’t have to tie back into the mcu. The independence can definitely be a good thing

Jake Lockley is the personality that was created to protect Marc and Steven. In DID personalities there is always a violent persona that emerges as the protector and that personality will hurt without conscious.

Marc told Steven that "he got to live a happy life where his mom loved him and was still alive". I think this right here confirms that Marc also created Jake to protect Steven. so marc is literally enslaved by konshu. cause as long as one of the personas agreed to it, the bond never breaks. im curious if this incident will trigger the other egyptian gods to be more proactive and choose avatars who can fight and defend earth. but the story of them having no direct power impact on earth needs more explaining. like thor, hela and odin invaded earth once upon a time in the mcu and its cannon. so did they displace the egyptian gods? if the norse gods can directly impact earth, why can't the egyptian gods? i hope they explain more in season 2.

Again, I'd like to reiterate that this show deserves ALL the Emmys, especially Oscar Isaac.
However, I also think that Ethan Hawke needs some love. He delivered a phenomenal performance throughout the show.

To the people who will complain about the ending, I say it worked out for what the whole concept of Moon Knight is.
In my personal opinion, I think what I saw was real (but who knows?).
Overall, this show is in my top 3 all-time favorite MCU Disney Plus shows so far. I enjoyed watching it.
