- Battlestate Games has recently made a very long string of very bad decisions. As far as I'm concerned, there is no returning from this.
The largest content creators, media outlets, competitor game developers, and players have spoken out in a widespread campaign to reel in the rogues that make the decisions.
The Unheard edition killed what little hope we had for Escape From Tarkov.
May this be our ballad.

@@ViolentHabits what do you mean ? otherwise you have to file lawsuits that would be the only real deal thing to do .. a crying community is pushing attention to the game thats the least thing you should do ... even if theyre dying from it they got attention. Player just abandoning the game silently is the only backstab possibility you have bevore filing lawsuits sooo i feel ive done the right thing.

There is no way to fix this. If they do something good then it is only because they were forced to, but they will stay greedy and do shit like this as soon as they get another chance.

Its not about greed per se, they just played a massive risky gamble with the development of arena, pouring in years of time and millions of dollars in the process. Turned out to be an absolute flop, and now theyve lost majority of the funding needed for completion of main tarkov. Now theyve surely lost any means of getting the last bit of that required funding.
Time to get into SPT and make sure it's well mirrored...

the eft community takes the most shit out of any community i've ever been apart of lmao this community has been putting up with shady and slimy business practices since the games conception, eod was already scummy and pay to win with things like the gamma and giga stash space now this new edition just pushed the envelope further, i wonder if the same people would be crying about priority matchmaking and scav protection if they got this update for free and didn't have to pay 100 bucks extra to get it, id bet if the unheard edition was a free update for eod the community would be split right down the middle like its always been.
Maybe because we have taken enough shit from BSG, this was the last drop.

The unity store asset is CRAZY
BSG didn’t get it from the asset store, they modeled it after a real life knife, same as the one in the asset store. The two have completely different texturing from what I’ve heard.
@@jellokhat Texturing is independent of modelling. The model is identical.
@@NightWolffff Models off the Unity asset store come finished entirely, even if they did get it from the asset store, they then completely redid the texture mapping and the textures, which is a good chunk of work.
And then being identical, see me mentioning how it’s apparently modeled after a real knife.
@@jellokhat Have a gander at the plentiful array of Kukri models available to the public. They all vary slightly, and this one would too if it was a truly unique piece modelled from the ground up, regardless of if its a real knife or not.

Can someone explain to me why using an asset from the unity asset store in your game (like what BSG did here with the kukri knife) is bad?
Im not defending bsg at all, i just personally want to know why something like that is bad. Because in my eyes they pay for the asset & probably ask for permission to use it in their game and bam problem solved?
Its not that its bad in general, but it is another example of BSG cutting corners. They hastily threw together a shitty bundle, and tossed in a purchased asset. In all honesty, if this drama wasn't ongoing, it wouldn't be an issue. But for me personally, its just fuel for the fire thats already burning.
Now they will feel pressure and add it to EOD so people come back and they will rip them off once again, i uninstalled long time ago ... no need to talk about it just do and done go on with life 😂 everybody just crying to get heard instead of click done next 😂😂😂 what you guys want is to shit up and abandon the game not cry so they unlock it for everbody ... thats a spiral
