    I live in Vermont n I'm an avid fisherman and hunter. With that being said I've owned may boats n have only heard of paying to launch our boat bit a couple of times. The few times until now I've only known of paying to launch is on private access here in Vermont but 85 percent of our lakes are free launching with respectful truck n trailer parking. Do you guys have to pay everytime you launch or here and there!

    Clayton, a question for you if you'd be so kind to answer it. What is the difference between a ned rig and a jig/plastic?
    From what I can tell they're about the same, a hunk of lead with a hook molded inside, with a soft plastic added to the hook. So, aren't they basically the same?

    • @ClaytonSchickOutdoors
      @ClaytonSchickOutdoors  Рік тому +1

      The Ned rig is a mushroom style jig designed to sit more upright and the plastic is a floating plastic so it sits more upright.

    • @thelonesomefisherman7425
      @thelonesomefisherman7425 Рік тому

      @Clayton Schick Outdoors Wow, that was a fast reply. Thanks.
      So basically, a ned rig is a jig, but the head shape is different? Did I get that correct?

    • @ClaytonSchickOutdoors
      @ClaytonSchickOutdoors  Рік тому +1

      @@thelonesomefisherman7425 yes. And the plastic floats :)

    If people get upset over sharing a technique... Then they have a piss-poor perspective & attitude... We, as the fishing community need to teach one another, especially new anglers. I find the attitude for fisherman can be one or the other... Its 100% secrets, or 100% open & helpful.
    Thankfully there are more fishermen who want to help others than keep secrets! (Other than specific fishing spots or lakes of course 😜)

    • @ClaytonSchickOutdoors
      @ClaytonSchickOutdoors  Рік тому +1

      HAH!! Exact spots on a lake are something you can't really give up. :) Then everyone will be there and it makes it tougher on each other.
