The different types, and the amount, of equipment available was staggering. This was definitely a "full day" event!
@10:25 I have seen plenty of "booth babes" at these expos - but I do not think I have ever seen "cheerleaders". 😀
The only thing missing was a practice pitch where you could operate a piece of equipment before you bought it. 😁

Russia is strong with domestic Agricultural machinery, but China is definitely brining some well needed goods that Japan and S Korea pulled the sanctions plug on for construction. Be it everything from road to cranes.

I smile when you say "Buy a truck, or a vehicle", you see, the supermarket chain Magnit was shopping 4000 lorry with trailers in one go some years ago, it was that many that the producer made a few assembly plants in Russia just for this order and other lorry manufactures did the same most likely for tax beneficial reasons (produce your stuff in Russia and you avoid import tax), many other industries did the same, computers/notebooks/monitors/TV's/household appliances/tools/mobile-phones. Some just assembly premade modules imported, but there are plants where they do all the manufacturing in house. The idea was that Russia should archive some know-how about modern manufacturing methods. Research and development was not really coming together with this concept, but Russia do also today produce electronics that is just a crappy as what the Chinese do, and to a higher price than the Chinese, how they can stay in business I do not understand, but they are still there, so I guess they have other things to manufacture that make it work for them. A strange thing that many people do not realize is that stuff made in Russia is not sold cheap, it should be, the raw material is cheap, the labor is relative cheap, so the final product should be cheap, but it is not.

Hospital tours would be near impossible. I don't know anyone working in any to even get access. I would make good content though.
@@TravellingwithRussellI believe Expat American was in hospital and has first hand experience. Also British guy from Russian Travels had a serious problem with his little child that required urgent head surgery - they literally put a child on the table just after arrival to the hospital. Now everything seems fine.
There are several hundreds of them. About best - I thinks best is scientific medical centers because there are working a lot of scientists, not ordinary doctors.

KAMAZ is it the same truck manufacturer for the Russian Military? It's Super Huge!
Yeah, it's the same one. They get the most orders from the Russian military but УРАЛ, another truck manufacturer also makes modified trucks for the Russian military.
@SamsonOhsem A lot of the buses in Russia are also this brand. It's a huge supplier also to the local government administrations in all parts of Russia.

That's the one thing I notice, the same color branding. Even on power tools its common as well.
Isn’t it is common rule which define color which special vehicles can or must to use? At least in Russia exist special standards (GOST) where such colors are defined.
How is this sanctioned? the company making these is Shantui and LiuGong which is a Chinese company and China isn't sanctioning Russia and Russia always bought their construction equipment from China, they have never imported JCB or Caterpillar or any other equivalent. Russia is and has been for a very long time a Chinese colony.
Russia is sell to China a lot of weapons, from SAM systems to military satellites, own nuclear plans, engines for jets and so on. Is it means China is Russian colony too? What a nonsense you talk.
If you want to see colony, classical, then for example look at Germany. Or any NATO member, except Hungary and Turkey (they resist a little and have own policy) :)

It's a shame that tomorrow (12.10.2024) Russia is losing OFAC - the licence of U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control for commercial banks. China will pull out the yuan from Russia because they don't want to confront the sanctions. Buying Chinese machinery or any Chinese products will be very hard. EDIT: you got 20+ hours to transfer non Russian currency from or into Russia.

@@beachnmountains if you think I'm happy then you are crazy. The oligarchs transfered currency out of Russia 3months ago. The average Russian will feel on Monday/Tuesday start of the problems. China stopped selling to Russia medicine components this week - it's crazy dangerous to Russia. EU/USA don't have food/medicine sanctions for Russia - even with payments problems Russia can buy medicine/food from EU/USA - because lack of food/medicine can wipe out a lot of normal Russians. Check if I'm lying about OFAC and Chinese medicine components - I don't care on Russian or Chinese pages. It's getting seriously dangerous, like really no joke, for your citizens - because Putin has embargo on EU/USA medicine - and you can't produce in Russia without China components. If you have somebody with seriously illness buy expert medicine now.
