As much as the widebody kit looks awesome but I gotta advise on not using fiberglass as the material. I used it for like 2 years tops and it started to crack . A better one would be 3d printed or just aluminium metal. Not too tight on the nuts and bolts on the fiberglass because they are actually fragile than they look. Id use a rubber washer to protect the fiberglass from being scratch cracked by the rotating bolt and vibrations. Good content guys 😊
I dont know, the kit and the wing does not look so good, like it is too much or it is made for another car. Anyways, I love your work and your builds so I hope it looks awesome when its finished.
well it just needs spacers now, after the spacers are installed the car should look normal. I wish they actually added the final build at the end but oh well
Great episode 👌 love how explanation of drilling, cutting and prepping for wide body.👌 Throtl team giving me many ideas how to do things on my S-14 like flocking, coilovers and etc. Keep bringing it 👍👍👍
Thank you guys for this video and specifically on the e92 N54 platform; very few people running full builds these days on my car. Also, I just watched another channel’s video on installing a widebody kit for an e92 335i and it made me cringe. Thank you again for a well done video and result.
Got to love C.A.D (Cardboard Aided Design)...😂😂😂 In all seriousness, it's probably the smartest thing that I have ever see; You can get the rough shape of what you need and you can fit it as close as you can so you only need to cut it once or twice (which saves time AND money). Then after its what you want you can just "polish it up."
As much as I respect you guys and the skills you have, for me this totally ruins the look of the car. But still interested how this turns out after painting and new wheel fitting!
@@SekeNoLike the fact that its not smooth anymore. It makes it look like a Miata or S13 driftcar to me. A BMW should be elegant and smooth. Even with a widebody ( in my opinion )

Throtl ViP squad Good afternoon Mickey, Rickie, Evan, Rick, Victor awesome video on the street fighter wide body BMW kit it would be awesome if street fighter made a cool Miata kit for the NA 🤔👍😃
The definition of wide body has really changed. Wasn’t that long ago flares like this were known as just that, wheel arch flares. And a wide body was like a whole 1/4 replacement, so the whole fender was wider not just the wheel arch.
use POR 15 Mickie on the bare metal inner's that Rickie made it protects better against rust since it is a very high zinc phosphate primer paint i switched to it when I talked to my paint guy. He said it is allot like etch prime but better any rust can get coated and it converts it to a phosphate shell stopping it died in its tracks and it also protects bare metal from rust and they also have chassis black paint to spray over that and its double protected.

Mickey, have you guys considered getting a small planisher for doing that metal work? it would definitely help you guys get some of those more funky shapes a little easier, with a little practice they're easy to use.
When fitting the flares, is it not beneficial to use the same wheels and tyres you intend to run to get the arch fitment to the tyre spot on? Or do you not have issues.
Fiber layup looked really good, and the body kit looks awesome on this car! Super aggressive I love the look (unfortunately the street fighter kit is too rich for me 😂😭) nice vid boys 🤘

smgs921 they can afford 4 pieces of aluminum lol but it’s not a rally car it shouldn’t dent anyway and if it does it’s not really visible. Most importantly aluminum does not rust

Hey Mickey, would love to see a moulded fender look on one of the Throtl builds!
Will be kinda pricey but it would be soo good it would make the whole kit flow much better
Molding fiberglass to steel is a no no in my book. It can be done well but is always prone to cracking. Too much risk for little reward.
Agreed. Molded look always looks way better.
Right not of a fan of seeing bolts on the fender
@@mickeyandrade3435 what would be an alternative to that? Metal fenders welded and buffing it down
