next time you cut a fender like that, leave the inner wheel well a little longer & and use a wheel well roller to stretch the inner up to the outer. but enjoyed the info and the use of the threaded inserts. that's a grate idea ;) George #4
Yep, I think the right thing to do was to go with a smaller front tire as he mentioned to avoid having to molest the fender flare. I understand trimming the fender lip was a quick fix but a smaller front tire is the correct and better solution. Car looks amazing regardless!!

Gr8 work guy and the widebody kit and the lowering of the car is beefy and sick as hell! The look highlights the true muscle of the Ford Mustang heritage. I think you should paint the kit and put a touch of carbon fiber here and there. Also love the aggressive tire sizes.
i know people often call it widebody but what most people dont know is that what you are installing is actually called a fender flare(an ectension of the fenders). apose to a widebody witch replaces the whole panel.

The front looks super sick and i love it but the rear end i think will look better if you put a chassi mounted wing in it like a racecar. Nice build btw
I'm sure a lot of people don't like mixing the same color, but I'd go with the hottest Red you can find. So it would be the darker original red on the car and a brighter red on the widebody.
I'm sure you can see outside from the inside of the trunk looks good from far but far from good underneath one year in Canada and you'll find the kit on the road still attached to the rivnuts and a rustang down the road
For your vinyl wrap it should be orange or lime green because, then it will really bring the color out of the rims and going to car meet ups it will eventually blow everyone out of the park so your welcome.
Once painted and add a crazy hood to it which I have one in mind that will look so mean especially w that front end, will bring in so much cooler air and release hot, make front grill slightly larger not too much there ......
Keep that red/maroon color no matter what u do. That's the sexiest color for cars these days. Maybe a metallic/metal flake version of that color along with black & gold graphics. That thing looks sick af.

Bad ass good job. I would just do two wide racing striped from the front of the car to the back and a gray strip in between the two. Just figure out how wide the stripes should be. I'm thinking two stripes 8" wide with a 1/4 wide gray stripe between the two black stripes. Personally I think the wrap will be too busy and you can save a few bucks too!!!! Peace Vince

What about welding the arches back up ,will help keep the rigidity of the panels ,sealing the area and painting it to protect from corrosion and installing the arch liners. Car looks mean , nice looking kit, arches look good black. Could accent some other areas of the car black- mirrors etc, but keep the red paint for the rest of it, looks good man.
Hi, a suggestion, you should put a cover at those 4 (see 15:39), only to be safe, so no one hits it by accident when driving. Be safe and take care! Regards!
I say make all the black the same Satin Black as the over-fenders etc. Apart from the rim barrels which should stay glossyBlack out the mirrors and difuser. Then I'd say make the front "struts" that go from the middle of the bumper into the splitter the same red as the car. Only other change I'd say is to get gold hardware to match the inner rim, then possibly make the wheel nuts/lugs the body colour red. If possible, I'd say try and make the rear vents functional so there can be airflow - that'd be dope
Usually an aesthetic for car shows...most sane people will get air suspension when they lower a car so that they have the availability to raise it as not to destroy the body panels while driving lol
It’s not just aesthetics it’s also for better traction especially if you’re using racing wheels. Sitting lower to the ground gives you a higher center mass gravity therefore giving you way better traction. This is why lambos are naturally rlly low. But I agree, I personally don’t like it that much but hey to each their own

It is a very nice wide body kit, but I think it is actually good enough for you guys to trip the paint, install it on the bare metal, use the body filler to make it dissapear into the original body and then paint it all on top of it and really make it a wide body mustang. I love the stands and silouethe of a good wide body kit but I hate the looks of a bolt on kit. It looks very unfinished even id it is colour matched

Way cool. Next time use an HD adhesive on the Rivnuts so they don't spin after install. It sux to have to drill them out.

Looks great. Just noticed the gap on left rear fender and spoiler is a bit big compared to the right side.
Looks killer, but I would go with dark grey carbon fiber look on the kit and all jet black body and keep the wheels...they're dope!

Really curious to see how the front tires would bump the fenders when the car turns in its low position.
If the car it’s dropped all the way down it will not turn the wheels are too big, so it has to be at a perfect level to clear the fenders
