"Would you be Grace? Amazing!" is an underrated pun.
I love the abrupt ending to the videos, always makes me laugh!
I'm convinced you like replacing perfectly good bearings for fun.
thank you for confirming why I buy new
Another terrific video. I was genuinely thrilled when I saw this in my feed as I know you only put out great videos with interesting content and just the right amount of humour. Well done.
This was fantastic! Love how you blended some great tips with a great story. Keep up the good work!
Scott.... this is next level! Sharing it on our Edmonton woodworking group. They will love it.
I amazes me how you squeeze things into that space. I imagine you crawling over the top of them to get to them. When I whine in my own head about space I tell myself I have more room than Scott, and I should just figure it out.
Okay, watched the other vid, which puts me firmly in the "buy new" camp. Or maybe "buy used and bribe Scott to come over and do it"... 😆😆 I do have a Delta Jointer that I would love to convert...
For a young woodworker you gave some great advice and an excellent presentation. Brilliant!
Dig the fold up trailer too! Great vid and info
Only 806 views?! I am truly appalled.
I have become a Shopsmith Guy, multi tool for my little shop is working out perfect, and even if it is a 1980, I can still get every part for it from Shopsmith. Your editing is great and the camera work is great. Wish My wife, would help me shoot. But I am training my Grandkid to shoot for me, LOL and learn Shop stuff!!
Awesome video! Being just a hobbyist, I don't buy the industrial sized machines your looking at, but I have bought used equipment. I'm also one of those outliers being without a truck. Nice folding trailer!
Thanks Scott. You saved me from buying an old Festo track saw (without the track) even though it was cheap. Waited and got a much better deal on a used festool track saw that has exceeded my expectations.
I too love buying old tools. Solid tips! Thanks!
Nice machine. Good score on the spiral cutting head. That would likely set you back more than you paid for the entire planer.

This is absolutely why I buy new - I probably could figure out how to replace bearings and all the other things but for something that spins razors at thousands of RPM near my person, I don't want to take the risk of forgetting a set screw.
Looks like a beautiful planer Scott!
