  • This week Nick talks about an important subject that we all tend to forget.
We all love this sport and at times we forget to pass on the knowledge and experience that we have as riders. Our family and friends that go out and jump on 2 wheels, deserve to know how to safely operate what ever bike, e-scooter, or bicycle they throw a leg over.
If you hear something not right, Say Something. Lets pass on that knowledge and keep our friends and family safe from preventable mishaps.

I took your Online Champions University video course last year. I have been riding for over 23 years (I am NOT a track racer) and this course is the best gift to yourself or any other motorcyclists you know, regardless of their experience.
I ride with a totally different mindset and it actually makes riding more enjoyable learning how to ride the “way the bikes are made to ride” (how Champ school explains it)
A BIG Thank You to the guys and gals involved with this program! 🎉

It's something that I have never thought that with eBikes, people need motorcycle riding skills, especially with braking!

Also, please wear gear if you are on an electric bike. Most of them go 25 to 40 MPG and you can get just has hurt on them as on a small displacement motorcycle.

Wait for the weight, and then use all the brakes you need to up to 100%!!

Brilliance in the basics. Thank you Nick, helps reinstate the importance of learning, rewiring and basically think ahead than the motorcycle.

Newbie motorcycle training focusing only on rear brakes is deadly. You need all the braking power you can get and the front brake hauls speed down the most, even on a cruiser.

Essential topics. Superbly delivered talk. Perhaps another video dedicated to the electric motorcycle new riders. They avoid brakes altogether . Regen to brake will not prevent an accident.
And congratulations on the racing your did last weekend. Outstanding!

As someone who is into evolutionary psychology as a hobby i can say: thousands of years of evolution, we never had the opportunity to go faster than a horse can go and all the sudden we have motorbikes that can go 300km/h... in our past it was rare for a man let alone woman to ride a horse (only nobility) and evolve all these motor skills, understanding of physics and reaction times. So when a woman gets on a electric bike or scooter, its something evolution never accustomed her to, at all. this is just facts and the objective truth regardless of what is trendy to think
i finished basic rider online course by the way. im driving honda cbr125r (its slow af) for 2 years trying to learn everything i can before going on faster bike. fell twice nothing serious. 1st time i did hard brake on gravel and second time a guy literally pulled over in front me sideways, luckily i was paying attention and wasnt going fast because its a road with many side streets people pop out of.

Excuses, excuses...absolutely ridiculous. She got hurt because of her OWN silliness. 🤦‍♂️ You're spot 9n Nick. Practice ALL riding skills, no matter what type of vehicle.
