Finally managed to make the same run. It upsets me that in the end the 5th medal wont glow even when you finish the game at the age of 20. Nice fight btw.
Thinking it has to do with finishing young enough so he could still have a life, have children, etc. If I’m remembering correctly, each pendant signifies 10 years and break when you reach 30, 40, 50, etc. Guessing it blackened out means he/she are in their 30’s in the cutscene.
Not sure if this is true, but I heard somewhere that apparently Yang used the 5th medal to revive you after you died in the true ending, thus why it's not glowing
@@drpanda4186 he was trying to use the power to restore life for his (friends) underbosses. Each one of them was facing death in someway. The first boss you fight (the bonist) is currently dying from an illness. When you beat the game with the bad ending, you can hear yang telling the Master that he was only trying to save them. He can't be that bad if he's trying to save lives...

I bet when he killed the old sifu they were already dead and he didn't want anyone to suffer the same fate so he took the healing power HOWEVER, that doesn't mean he's perfect, he possibly killed the other members and he ordered to killed his own brother for no particular reason (maybe because he didnt want his sibling to avenge their father? Regardless, he couldve tried to reason or explain first instead of just killing him instantly he's your brother for gods sake)

That 3rd stage with Yang looks hard AF with no pendant age 20, impressive under 1% of people can do this. I've only beaten Yang as an old man, with mercy for the 4 bosses but not Yang yet.
It’s theorised that Yang decided to revive the MC after this. Which is why in the end the kid calling for Sifu, Sifu has the pendant with one of the glowing bits blackened out showing it’s been used. So presumably Yang brought the student back to life, the student achieved wude, started his own school and became Sifu
O-K this game looks repetitive and confusing as fuck. So did he fail or succeed? Why did he die instead of Yang? This game makes zero sense! Ive seen cutscenes before and it was just a confusing mess that explains nothing. Yang does the same moves over and over and it looks boring. wtf even is this game?!
Ofc the guy who never played the game complains about it being “repetitive” and “confusing”. I can easily say Sifu is one of my favorite games of the year by far u just gotta give it a try man once u get into the games mechanics its very addictive and it’s very easy to get invested in this game

The game doesnt do anything to explain or hint the facts. So I have zero idea what the ending was about.

You have to spear them, as an ALL the bosses you beat. Not kill them, I think...?

Yeah it took me awhile to understand why he killed his master and honestly I wasn’t even mad at all
