Looks great. Looks like a good quality Brompton alternative for half the price. I would have liked to see a demo of you folding & unfolding it, as well as how the little wheel in the middle works...
lt's possible (if you press the right buttons in the right sequence) to get into the technician mode and change the wheel circumference from 16" to 14" which will make the bike about 2.5mph faster
Have one mirider and a 600 quid hitway bk2. Bk2 has front suspension which lifts the ride quality above the mirider a lot. Drivetrain is better on the mirider by a lot but for comfort and fun the bk2 is getting used an awful lot. Quality seems better on the hitway which surprised me.
No, it looks the same from a distance but there's a lot of differences. The Mirider has a better controller, a larger capacity battery with better cells, better brakes, a better seatpost, improved wiring to IP65 standard, a boost button on the right handlebar for hill starts, and a better saddle (although it looks the same)
lt's got a larger capacity battery with branded cells, better brakes, a better seatpost with more adjustment, lighter wheels, improved wiring to IP65 standard, more adjustment on the stem, and a much better speed controller with a boost button on the right handlebar for hill starts
I'm NOT into electric bikes but I do like this design. Is there a non-electric version available or coming soon, which would also help to lower the price!?
I thought RECOMMENDED RETAIL PRICE was a thing of the past NOT with this company I found MIRIDERS with a discount £160 off each soon as this company found out they made retailer put the price up! Just for that reason they lost the sale of two
Actually, it isn't. Reason l can say that is, l've got a Mirider and my friend has the onebot l won't go into the differences but will say the onebot is okay certainly for the money it's a bargain But the Mirider is a whole lot better. ls it worth twice the price of a onebot? Not sure, l would say probably. The same way that the cheapest Specialized ebike is around 5k and the most expensive over 12k. ls it 7k better? Probably not, but it is a whole lot better
@@billrankin Isn't that the case with any bike, assembled from parts bought in, no bike manufacturer makes the parts. l've got a Kona Ebike and none of the parts are actually made by Kona
@@oldcargeezer it says on there website designed, made and assembled in the uk ? Very misleading I would return one as I would not pay £1500 for £700 rebadged cheap Chinese import.
l've done 1,400 miles on mine and not found it useless. l live in the Peak District where my shortest 7 mile loop has 1,000 feet of climbing. However l agree with your comment about the battery having to work harder on a single speed bike. l can run the battery flat in 12 miles although with a bit of care l get 16-18 l only use level 3 and 5, with 5 being the maximum assist level When we were in Chester (where it's flat) l managed 20 miles with the battery still at over 50%
My neighbours got one, he clocks up over 60 miles each week travelling from house to train station, then around London. Absolutely loves it..
Where can you purchase one?
@@MrTtaakk lots of local bike shops have them so look around for them...do a test ride
We bought a couple very impressed so far.
Test rode it and loved it so much, I've ordered 2! One for me, and the Mrs!!

a bit late, but I made a video with a folding demo ua-cam.com/video/SqxCBkoBlK4/v-deo.html
I own one and have no complaints..

Electric is the way guys defo!
isn't the bike the same as the Onebot s6 ,also Jupiterbike and the G-Bike minieco which all originate from china👌

Maybe the same frame manufacturer?
It's a onebot check the battery on it says Onebot on it. A Onebot6 costs only £500.

mine arrived today absolutely love it.

July 23 the latest model has a 252 kw battery but the price has gone up
Never used an ebike before I want to pedal slowly and get 15.5 back
Life Changing
Distracted by the hands 😀
Me too. Moaned about it with two other reviews.
ENJOY RIDING , EASY FOLDING

Furo X it’s English to , carbon 14kg, speed gear , same price
Battery is not set in frame on Furo X.
cool am looking at one in local shop!
Is it the 2020 or 2021 version
Battery handle snapped on my bike. Any ideas how to fix it ? Thanks
happened to me too 1st week I had bike, emailed MiRider & they sent me 2 free of charge !

I own a mi rider it’s grey
Axle to axel folding is a big no in my opinion. You’re folding the widest part against the other widest part!
It seems like this is getting good ratings because it was supposedly made in the UK. This seems like an overpriced Onebot and Swagtron copy.
Actually, it isn't.

Assembled in uk, not made in uk.

@outandaboutphotographerbill I have found their customer service to be excellent. That does make a difference.
its an old man bike, if your looking for something with abit more kick spend the extra
Then it's illegal for the road.
20kg for a 16" wheel bike? That's pathetic. I have a 20" wheel bike that weights 27kg. And weight is the only thing that bothers me
lt's 17kg
They are too expensive, Kugoo kirin b2 is better and cheaper
Single speed bikes are useless. Having a bike with gears makes the battery last longer
