Everything You Need To Know About GMO's At The Grocery Store

  • 90% of the corn and soy in this country are GMO, and not just any GMO, they are grown with roundup in the seed which kills bugs, but it's supposed to be safe for us!? Furthermore, the majority of the foods in the middle aisles at the grocery store, processed and prepared foods, have corn and soy in them! I want to explain to you exactly what GMO means, how to identify the the bad ones(corn & soy), and how to find tricky names for them on food labels and ingredients. I know many of the comments will be so called food scientists telling me that I don't know what I am talking about, but you can make your own decisions after watching and doing some research for yourself! Mad love Bobby...Dessi...and Art! XOXO

    Bobby, I truly hope that people fully understand the knowledge you're dropping in these videos, not to mention the blow back you may be getting from some of these companies...honestly, the more videos you create like this and the more views you receive, the more people will begin to force these companies to produce healthier food...thank you for all that you do! 😊

    I have start calling you professor Bobby. I have learned SO MUCH from these videos and more importantly I am feeling better. Seriously.. I am 56 years old and things were starting to creak and make noise but because I've been paying more attention...i just feel better. Yes the first 3 or 4 trips to the grocery store took me over a hour...but you find your regulars. Thank you Professor Bobbie...because of you I feel great...and I believe because of you...we are seeing more choice in the grocery store because when we are fully informed we can vote with our dollar. That is the vote that is paid attention to. Peace!!!

    Something to think about with beef. Cold weather beef has to eat grains in the winter. They don't have the availability of grass (per a farmer that raises grass fed cattle and it makes sense). So maybe in this case, organic would be best. I wonder if there is s way to figure out where the beef is coming from.

      @@agrade87 I think you've misunderstood my point entirely. Absolutely food should be safe everywhere in the world, but in a first-world wealthy country like America we should be making certain that laws and regulation protect us rather than being undermined by profiteers, lobbyists and corporate interests.

  • @makylahammer1620

    I agree with you on the points made throughout this video, however, I feel going more in-depth about why herbicide-resistant plants like Monsanto patented corn/soybean/ etc. are bad would be more educational than using the blanket statement that, well if they kill insects how can it be good for us. Poison is a question of perspectives, for example, we can drink coffee and eat chocolate while at the same time it's poisonous for other organisms. Altogether a very informative video, I think it's just this one point that can be misleading, and would love to see it talked about in further detail.

    Bobby, I was reviewing all the oil in my house after watching this, is cold pressed olive oil acceptable ‘Bobby Approved?’ Or does it have to be expeller pressed?

    • @AlexT-sy6nm
      @AlexT-sy6nm 4 роки тому +1

      Cold pressed is the best, then expeller-pressed (which means pressed via the twisting of metal plates essentially, though the friction from the plates does cause some heat generation). Cold pressed is your no1 choice.
