She never tried to make them abandon their oaths, thats not the same thing as being unable to and EVERYTIME aphrodite is slighted, her curses are some of the harshest. She was a war goddess in the earliest myths of her and thats plenty to consider her a threat ignoring everything else so as i said Aphrodite is op as hell and arguably the strongest olympian after the brothers zeus and poseidon

I love that both zues and hera have bull horns, and are also huge. Really sells the whole king and queen aspect. It really sells that they are the two gods that Athena can’t exactly brute force her way pass, as powerful as she is. As much as they are dysfunctional I do love the idea that they are together for a reason (if only bc people tend to want to keep a toxic minefield contained and not spread) so them sharing characteristics is a very cool stylistic choice. In short, they are fathering and mothering lol 😂

Why is that important. Hephaestus didn't have a prosthetic leg he had two deformed legs after his mother threw him down from Olympus. Unless you mean that being born ugly is a deformity.

I really love the splash card intros for the gods especially aphrodite that smug smile is everything. I also love how much taller zeus and hera are compared to the other god. and the fact that zeus moves with cloud transitions also kinda reminds me of posideons water transitions as well.
oughhhhh there's something about how zeus moves that tickles my brain so well!!! the clouds and the crackles of lightning feels cocky in a way noone but the king of gods would be able to get away with. the shoulder on athena's shoulder feels so much like a dad humouring his favourite daughter. and the little odysseus figure and how, for a moment, it almost feels like zeus would crush his skull in his hands. also the lovely shots of the olympians as their names are called compared to the little muppets? hilarious.
Athena is his favourite daughter (though he's quite fond of Artimis too, as he did give her the moon when she asked for it). But while Athena is his favourite offspring, Ares is his least favour son, the kind of one who gets the 'oh, him'. reaction from Zeus.

I love with the release they changed the part for Zeus when he says And me to OR me. It really shows Athena’s quick thought; she realized she can argue one certain point each to pull the other Gods to her outcome rather than convince ONE god with multiple points. One seems easier than the other but Athena understood and went with the better of two evils; which only adds MORE to the fact she IS the goddess of war from the mental aspect

Your Zeus looks amazing! The idea of bull horns intertwined with victory laurels is inspired. I also love how Zeus and Hera are colossal compared to the others - it really shows that they're the children of titans.
I just realized after watching such a cool animatic for the song after hearing gods game get its full track released You designs are so beautiful but also each of the gods kinda have their bodies more revealed in a way which omg Such a small detail to me but it really holds out the idea of their godliness in a way for me
Not true several gods assisted Ody, heck even with zeus it seemed more a matter of fact, man kept messing with the will of the gods and thus had to be taught a lesson
Of this group alone in God Games, Aphrodite and Ares were the only ones who truly had any beef with Odysseus, due to being the patrons of Troy during the war. (And honestly it seems like Aphrodite mostly just sided with the Trojans because one of the main Trojan warriors, Aeneas the forefather of the Romans, was named as a demigod son of hers.) Athena is only mad at Odysseus because he rejected her teachings, and in some of the Trojan War stories it's implied she was angry at the Greeks after the fall of Troy because one of the Greek warrior leaders r4ped a priestess in her temple and was not punished by the other leaders, but otherwise Athena and Hera primarily sided with the Greeks due to being slighted by Paris, prince of Troy, when he gave the Golden Apple to Aphrodite. Hephaestus had really no skin in the game either way, and at the time of the Iliad and Odyssey being formed as oral tradition, most historians believe that Helios was still considered to be the primary deity of the Sun and Apollo wasn't yet conflated or substituted into his place. Zeus also had no real side in the matter; even in the Iliad he mostly stays neutral and really just tells the other Olympians to stop interfering quite so much. In fact, Hera has to manipulate him using Aphrodite's magic corset and the help of Hypnos to get him to stop gatekeeping the battlefield so that the Greeks can get a definitive upper hand for a day. Outside of that, Poseidon and Helios are the main gods who ever really had issues with Odysseus, and again that was mostly due to him blinding the Cyclops and his men killing the Sun Titan's cows. Beyond that, even Aeolus wasn't against Odysseus necessarily, and it's never quite clear whether Circe and Calypso are intended to be treated as goddesses or just very magically gifted immortals...
I Looooved this. You always manage to make Gods threatening,as they ougt to be. You did it for Poseidon and Zeus. The colored silluates where a nice touch. The rest of animatic not having color helped to bring out a contrast of how they where different and untied to some of the world's laws other's had to follow. The designs are awesome as always, and Apllo's odly reminded me of your desing for David. Nice work!
0:40 just noticed those are people hanging from his spear. That is both absolutely brutal and sadly accurate for what happens in war, and Ares is the god of it.

I don't have the brain power to explain why I love your designs so much. That Zeus! But your Apollo is amazing as well. I'm very fond of the scorched look to the bottom of his robes and the feather, hinting to the myth of the crow. But I'm also just very fond of all myths of why the crow is black.

I just gotta say, i love the height difference with Zeus and Hera compared to the other Olympians. It really shows the power the two have over Olympus and even the Greek Pantheon itself! They're the King and Queen of Greece and i love that about their design!! (Plus it kinda makes the whole "Athena came out of Zeus's head more believable XD)

This is absolutely gorgeous work - I *love* the use of bull and cow horns for Zeus and Hera respectively (plus the bull-tail for Zeus and Hera's peacock reveal in her separate video). I really hope to see a future animatic for 'Thunder Bringer' with this!

The intros was so good!!!😍 Also the fact that Hera is literally twice the size of all the gods is awesome and hilarious😂 Plus, Zeus having bull horns and treating this all like it's some board game shows just how disconnected he is with humanity, while Athena taking this super seriously shows her arc on what humans are in her eyes.

There are a myriad of beautiful interpretations of this musical out here on the internet, all wonderful to watch, but yours remain my absolute favorite. Not true several gods assisted Ody, heck even with zeus it seemed more a matter of fact, man kept messing with the will of the gods and thus had to be taught a lesson
Of this group alone in God Games, Aphrodite and Ares were the only ones who truly had any beef with Odysseus, due to being the patrons of Troy during the war. (And honestly it seems like Aphrodite mostly just sided with the Trojans because one of the main Trojan warriors, Aeneas the forefather of the Romans, was named as a demigod son of hers.) Athena is only mad at Odysseus because he rejected her teachings, and in some of the Trojan War stories it's implied she was angry at the Greeks after the fall of Troy because one of the Greek warrior leaders r4ped a priestess in her temple and was not punished by the other leaders, but otherwise Athena and Hera primarily sided with the Greeks due to being slighted by Paris, prince of Troy, when he gave the Golden Apple to Aphrodite. Hephaestus had really no skin in the game either way, and at the time of the Iliad and Odyssey being formed as oral tradition, most historians believe that Helios was still considered to be the primary deity of the Sun and Apollo wasn't yet conflated or substituted into his place. Zeus also had no real side in the matter; even in the Iliad he mostly stays neutral and really just tells the other Olympians to stop interfering quite so much. In fact, Hera has to manipulate him using Aphrodite's magic corset and the help of Hypnos to get him to stop gatekeeping the battlefield so that the Greeks can get a definitive upper hand for a day.
Outside of that, Poseidon and Helios are the main gods who ever really had issues with Odysseus, and again that was mostly due to him blinding the Cyclops and his men killing the Sun Titan's cows. Beyond that, even Aeolus wasn't against Odysseus necessarily, and it's never quite clear whether Circe and Calypso are intended to be treated as goddesses or just very magically gifted immortals...
I Looooved this. You always manage to make Gods threatening,as they ougt to be. You did it for Poseidon and Zeus. The colored silluates where a nice touch. The rest of animatic not having color helped to bring out a contrast of how they where different and untied to some of the world's laws other's had to follow. The designs are awesome as always, and Apllo's odly reminded me of your desing for David. Nice work!

I don't have the brain power to explain why I love your designs so much. That Zeus! But your Apollo is amazing as well. I'm very fond of the scorched look to the bottom of his robes and the feather, hinting to the myth of the crow. But I'm also just very fond of all myths of why the crow is black.

I just gotta say, i love the height difference with Zeus and Hera compared to the other Olympians. It really shows the power the two have over Olympus and even the Greek Pantheon itself! They're the King and Queen of Greece and i love that about their design!!
(Plus it kinda makes the whole "Athena came out of Zeus's head more believable XD)
