    Hey Mr Everything English, thank you for the video. I dont mean to be questioning anything in the video, everything you said i agree with and is correct. But i just cant help but to feel like perhaps AQA itself is a little divided, and conflicted, just because at my school, last year, ppl used your priest plot, and they got flagged for plagiarism. So yes AQA has said, pre-plan your story, but i guess its just them contradicting themselves. In our mocks, we got our papers marked by an external examiner, that was an AQA examiner, who actually marked down, basically half the year, because many ppl had used your pre-planned plot (which i love btw, they're amazing!). So yes although AQA themselves have said themselves that you can use pre-planned plots and use inspiration from other ppl's work, i think its just the fact that they're a little inconsistent in what they say which was very evident in the past couple of years with the whole advance information ordeal, which actually left many students misinformed, as the exam simply did not adhere to the information that AQA themselves gave, and i think the same thing is happening here. I guess what im trying to say is that just because AQA has said it, doesn't mean the examiners have said it, who often just dont listen to their own organisation, and thus why i think many ppl are right in telling us to avoid using pre-planned plots. Could you please help me out with this?

      i'd say not to because it will take too long. also you're going to need make it very clear who's speaking because the examiners need to know otherwise it could get messy. I'd just say not to make it more complicated and just stick to one pov. Or just do third person which would make it easier to look over all the characters but you won't be able to expand on each one's emotion. Just do one pov in first person to make it easier and expand on that

    • @moustachescarz
      @moustachescarz Рік тому +2

      How is learning a new word plagiarism? or are you suggesting you use an ai to teach you how to improve your responses? How is that different from school: you aren’t plagiarising your teacher. They won’t check for ai generation since it’s a written exam- it would take too long to transcribe and check every response for AI, which would produce so many false negatives anyway due to it being reworded as you write it (you won’t write it word for word). Using a template for your response is risky, as it may make it too similar to other responses, unless your simply produce your own template (even if it inspired by another). The examiners aren’t trying to kill you… they won’t read something and think ‘this is too good this must have been stolen’ then think back through the hundreds of books and other responses they’ve read for something that matches up then give 0 because you copied. Plagiarism only matters if it occurs on a large scale where examiners actually see unusual patterns between the responses they mark.

    rough mark cheers
    Abe sat on the pier beneath the mangrove trees and chirrup of birds. He had familiarised himself within the time he was beneath them it was beautiful. The pier itself was not the pinnacle of relaxation he deemed to be early in life; its ecosystem loudly filled the vast emptiness around him. However, it was quite relaxing and his only source of consolation from an otherwise tedious, concerned, distasted hopeless day.
    He had been waiting for aeons. Abe reached into the pits of his pocket shrouded with darkness and retrieved his phone rescuing it from the comatose isolation it endured. Not long ago, his son bought him a phone to lighten his otherwise companionless life. “Surely”, he thought “surely, he has sent something”, he so hopelessly assumed he could find some sort of contact from the mysterious gentlemen whose fortunes had been pledged to him…
    Emptiness.
    Abe was bewildered; he’d assumed that with the experience of his old age that he could never be so deceived and know whom to trust. They had been so genuine at first. Their bond had been immediate with an airspace of jubilance and enthusiasm being patronage wherever they went. Abe promised to rejoice with him again and reinsured that he would be present at a moment’s notice to fulfil his dreams once more by being in his presence. He had never imagined what occurred, upon his arrival, he was greeted by the same despair he felt previously.
    Emptiness.
    As he stared into the mould-dampness that plagued the once pearlescent lake, with his distorted reflection mirroring him. He contemplated the past few days (his reflection represented his emotions) Abe understood that there would be no shock arrival. No time to come. No happiness to feel.
    Emptiness.
    Abe was consumed with the past choked with nostalgia as he sat there. Abdicated to the pier. Abandonment.

Pale flakes stealthily fell onto my now crimson tongue, a nauseating pain of hypothermia trickled down my throat; opaque mist cascaded any surroundings, making me feel as if i was in a restraining vest, every inch restricted; fragile droplets of snow are damp against my white porcelain cheeks. As a marker of gcse English since 2014, this writing is very satisfactory and it marks to the grade 4 that a writer of your calibre should be aiming for. I think that the long descriptive sentences are perfect for a median level writer. Good luck and I believe you will achieve the grade 4 or maybe 5 if you have a good day, that you deserve.
