Of Course, Corbyn is not antisemitic. I know that, you know that, Bernie knows that, but it is political suicide in the U.S. and U.K. for a politician to declare for Palestinians against Israelis. That is a perhaps unpleasant truth of political life.

December elections are bad for turnout. Low turnouts help the right-wing.

Bernie Sanders as a mayor was asked for a license to tear down affordable housing for more expensive condos and he famously said, “Over my dead fucking body”.
The one thing I would critique about Bernie is I hope he realizes the right sees politics internationally so we should too. When they kicked Corbyn out for “antisemitism” they tried to do the same to Bernie but it obviously didn’t work in that case.

On LBC BS was asked about corbyn, striking workers and Keir Starmers five bland plans , on all three he gave an answer not favourable to Keir Starmer. He also said billionaires should be taxed on GMB , in a way that I think that shocked the presenters who asked should they be taxed, “too damn right they should”, when in the UK saying this was made taboo. I think that its the corrosive power of the media.

tumor removed I got notice. They put the rent up £40. I moved back to the uk to start a business until this happened, now I’m back in the states. I hate England for what it done to me and my family but I love the nhs for saving my life. Long live the NHS

Also let's not forget every household has been given a generous 5p off their energy bills, a huge saving which families can choose to put towards health insurance, or fried potatoes, or gin, according to their tastes.

Bernie has managed to last a very long time in Congress in a practically impossible situation as an independent. What the Democrats did to Al Franken or what the Republicans did to Fred Grandy years ago are examples of what happens to politicians that piss off party leadership; yet somehow, Bernie has carefully avoided stepping on those landmines while being subject to discipline from Democratic leadership but not having any of the benefits of having a party to back him up.
I think that meticulousness goes a long way towards explaining Bernie's skill at appropriating right-wing rhetoric that Aaron noticed.
