Do you rinse with water after or is this the final rinse. Thanks

You do not have to rinse with water. However you may get some water spots on dark colors until you get it wet again.

What is the ratio of water to saltsgone?
How far does one gal go?
    Half a gallon per car?

It's a 1:100 ratio. So you're using 4-20 oz of concentrate per vehicle depending on the size and just how detailed you're getting with it.

Won't regular soap and water do the same thing?

Sorry notifications were turned off: You do not have to rinse with water. However you may get some water spots on dark colors until you get it wet again.

I was told before that you have to rinse if you don’t want too.

That is correct. You do not need to rinse it. However on some color paints you may get some water spots until it gets wet again.

This showed no evidence it actually works.
