Between wall and cladding there is no place for vertical ventilation of the space, a number of vertical bars / slats are needed. Or do you have other ventilation ideas?

We have gaps between all of the vertical cladding strips between the bars and the cladding 👍🏼👍🏼

Wonderful work. Fascinating to watch things change as time passed. Can anyone tell me the brand of work trousers the gentleman was wearing while strapping the back wall? They look like great work pants. I cannot find similar here in Canada

The series is NOT a "renovation". It's a total fresh build with a few bricks in small wall retained for historical purposes perhaps...but no longer a bungalow either. I do wonder what the neighbours thought.

Went from a Nice wonderful little House. To some oversize Unneed House with alot of stuff now ruined.

To be honest, if we had found that the bungalow wasn't damp and didnt have wood worm the chances are that we would have just done a light renovation on the existing.
However the plans changed when we found the problems. We have kept the front on the bungalow looking exactly the same, so that from the street it looks no different.
